you didn't know how you got yourself into this situation, both madison and zoe riled up at the thought of leaving you with the other.

"you don't get to do this madison, after i brought you back!" zoe had just about enough of madisons entitlement, especially after she went out of her way to bring her back from the dead.

madison scoffed at her remarks, "watch me." she strutted her way to where you sat and began to lean into a kiss, all while maintaining eye contact with zoe. zoe's fists clenching in anger. it felt more like a performative act than an act of her genuine love, like she was just doing it to get under zoe's skin.

you didn't know how to react to the situation, you liked both of them but it felt unfair to choose a side, so you decided to let them resolve it themselves; though that just led to more arguing.

after a while, zoe broke down and stormed out the room. madison was the only one to blame for this, but for once she didn't make any witty remarks - instead she just sat in silence. in situations like this, she would normally be proud of herself but it didn't seem that way.

you were surprised that she was actually showing signs of remorse, it seemed that she felt the same as you. she sighed and laid flat on the bed.

later that day, madison ended up making a half assed apology (if you could count it as one) and invited zoe to join you guys after her shower.

"what do you want?" zoe asked with a scowl on her face. she wasn't the type to get angry over nothing, even though she was sensitive, so it'd be evident if she was ever upset.

"relax." madison knew she'd have to apologise but she wasn't quite used to taking accountability for her actions, especially with witch abilities at her disposal. "i'm sorry, about earlier..."

zoe knew this, so she wanted to use it at her advantage. "for what?" she acted as ignorant as possible but madison knew it was intentional.

"you know." she tilted her head affectionately and reached for zoe’s hand, “join us.”

zoe was shocked but she couldn’t say that she opposed the idea, but she was taken by surprise. “what?”

“we could just share.” madison never expected to propose such an idea but here she was, and she hadn’t yet been turned down. she firmed the grip on zoe’s hand and led her to the bedroom where you sat.

you weren’t completely sure if she’d join in but your speculations were cut short after she dropped her towel and followed madison on the bed.
