Hi guys, I'm Willow. (I use she/they pronouns). Maybe you won't read my theory about Alastor (and sorry for the mistakes, I used a translator), but I'd like to share it.

Maybe Alastor made a deal with some higher demon, or maybe not even them, but with the forces of Voodoo, since his demonic form contains dolls and symbols. And he made a deal for his strength and gave away part of it. Those with whom Alastor made a deal use him for their own purposes, promising to make him much stronger. But the deal limits Alastor's abilities, as he doesn't have his full strength to simply fight back against Adam. And that’s why he demands freedom so much, to regain his powers and manipulate the Hotel for his own purposes, to “pull the strings.”
