Ok, this has been bothering my mind, but do you have some kind of timeline on how long you've been thinking about t!kirito? I'm so interested in how much you've developed of this story

so the first *post* i made about it was late october

at which point i was just newly getting back into it, and my only "leads" were a few scenes in the phantom bullet arc

now the thing is this whole situation *actually* started almost a decade ago when little grub ak as a 7-sweep (14 year) old originally got into anime in the first place *specifically because my egg ass got obsessed with that specific arc that just came out in the anime back then (the LN is older)*

like you don't understand the levels of gender envy little me was experiencing back then

so *really* this has been brewing for like a decade because this is actually the original reason i got into sao at all; and considering this was my first "proper" anime (i watched like, pokemon and beyblade and bakugan but those were dubbed and just with stuff like ben 10 and i don't feel like it counts), well...

in hindsight this whole situation is the reason i got into anime at all. because i got gender envy from kirito's ggo avatar as a little grub. and then stopped watching sao because it was considered "cringe". and then stopped caring about "cringe", and then recently decided on a whim to go on a nostalgia tour of the old anime i watched back during the early 2010s. to be hit in the face with nostalgia and seeing things i didn't even notice as a little kid all over the place

and now it just feels like i owe it to my younger self

to prove it right

and i think it was right

way more than i was expecting

so yeah

it started a decade ago and it's because i used to be an egg myself and i found another egg to project upon without even knowing the words to express all this

and now i do

You and me both. Staroba marrying and raising Clover as their adopted child is what's currently consuming my brain right now.

I like to think they sometimes all take naps together. Not always, since Clover is old enough to sleep on their own, but they like the experience of feeling safe between their parents.
