I got the best idea for Nexus

So, Nexus was infected by and addicted to Negative Star Power and Sun being Sun put his life on the line by combining his magic with the unused Star Power that was/is still coursing through his body, and managed to painstakingly detach the NSP from Nexus.

Problem is that there was permanent damaged caused by NSP that requires Sun's magic to soothe it, so now Sun is his medical equipment or something like that.

On rly bad days, Sun and Nexus need to be connected to one another with wires attached to the back of their heads, just so Nexus can move without his joints aching.
