i really like this okay i really do

so i know we don’t exactly know how rich acts without his SQUIP active, but i think based on the little scene before vimh, he’s like just a really funny and random guy!! y’know!! like he says silly random things to try and make people laugh.

i think that maybe him and christine would become friends ish post SQUIP if maybe they started sitting together at lunch? maybe them two, jeremy, michael, and whoever else decides to join them. probably jake for one, supposing he and rich are still friends.

and i think they’d get along well because they both just say RANDOM things!! they match each others silliness levels!!!!

and i think it would be good for Rich in a way. i think that post- SQUIP he’d still be trying to figure out how to stop saying things he shouldn’t. because his SQUIP made him rude, obviously, we all know that. so suppose he has a hard time completing stopping making bad jokes about stuff. like he’s obviously NOT homophobic since he’d just realized he himself is a part of the community, but sometimes he would just say things without thinking that would give the wrong impression. or suppose ableism. i feel like that would also be a big thing. ive never met a popular highschool boy that isn’t at least a LITTLE bit of an asshole about autistic people. i think that would be hard for him to stop joking about too.

i think specifically to jeremy. like. he’d say stuff like “you sound autistic when you say stuff like that 😭😭” or like “dude that makes you look so autistic lmao” and then he’d be confused why no one laughs. because he’s only TRYING to be a funny guy!! but it’s just really genuinely not funny at all. or stimming jokes. bruv my friends always did those last year and im so over it 😭🙏🙏 they’d pretend to have a wholeass seizure and then exclaim “ohh im happy stimming im happy stimming!”

or maybe jokes about michael being gay that were supposed to funny or flirting-ish but just felt super homophobic. stuff like that. “jokes” that aren’t funny.

but i think christine would definitely keep him in check about it!!!! one thing about her is that she doesn’t keep her thoughts inside her head. if she does it’s on very rare occasion. so i think if rich said something that made her upset she’d be very quick to tell him why it’s not funny.

i think once she figured out he doesn’t WANT to be mean, and that he doesn’t MIND her telling him when to not say things, they’ll start getting along a lot better. she won’t be rude when telling him not to say stuff and he’ll gradually STOP saying stuff he shouldn’t

good afternoon bmc fandom are we ready to actually discuss chloe valentine's character. are we ready to acknowledge that y'all have double standards when it comes to her because apparently rich being a bully and the squip being the major perpetrator of dywh is all fine and dandy but chloe valentine, a literal 16 yo girl, is an irredeemable bitch who should be dead. don't even get me started on 'but rich actually had character improvement' lmfao no the fuck he did not we just saw his squip sync with jeremy's and everything was okay all of a sudden. poor writing is an issue that bmc has in general not just with chloe. don't try to pretend bmc actually has any character development. that the squip is the most painfully obvious metaphor for exactly what makes chloe act the way she acts. that chloe's character has far more similarities to rich's than you would ever like to admit. that chloe valentine is a teenage girl who's only ever seen as an object of sexual desire to the point where she sees herself as one. jeremy literally said she was hot and she thought that meant he wanted her. how are we not seeing the tragic implications of that. she literally begs to know why people like brooke and not her, is it because brooke is nice, but chloe can be nice too, she can be so goddamn nice, except nobody ever lets her. everyone only ever uses her and she becomes more and more bitter and it's a vicious cycle that never ends because nobody ever gives her a chance to be anything other than the hot bitchy slutty mean girl. the way that both brooke and chloe are victims of misogyny except brooke played the role of the good girl and is loved for it while chloe played the bitch and is torn apart for it... and istg y'all make up reasons to hate her when there are actual nuanced character flaws that she should be criticized for i can't with this fandom
