Y/n was never one to be nosey. They were always taught that if it didn't concern them not to stick their nose into it. You'd keep out of trouble that way is what they were lectured. But that doesn't mean they weren't a very sweet person.

They'd give you the shirt off of their back if they really needed it. They were always lending a hand to help. Which is how they ended up in the woods in the dark of night.

Y/n and her friend were walking along side of a road. Their friend had her pup Pongo along for the ride as well. Well he decided that he didn't want to stay on the leash. He wanted to go play

The little rascal ended up slipping out of his harness. Off into the woods he went so they decided to split up to find him. "Pongo! Come on its time to go home!" Y/n called out into the dense wood. They had a flashlight in their hand as they looked behind trees and bushes.

A rustle came from behind the tree. An animal like growl was heard. "Pongo I'm gonna skin you alive!" They said as they moved behind the tree. Only it wasn't Pongo that they had found. Not even close.

David was finishing up his meal when they found him. His face still shifted and drenched in blood. David was expecting this little human to scream or cry like all the other ones did. He got up from the body ready to lunge at them.

Y/n shook their head violently. "Nope nope nope nope. Not my monkey not my circus. I am erasing this whole thing from my mind." They said as they quickly walked off in the opposite direction.

David was still trying to process exactly what had just happened. This was a first for him. No human had ever seen him feed and just walk away like that. To not be afraid of him... was just plain rude.

"You look like you've seen a ghost." Dwayne said when David caught up to his brothers. "Or like you've seen Paul naked." Marko joked earning him a punch to the arm.

"Shut up you little shit or ill throw you into the ocean." Paul growled only making Marko laugh more. The laugh must have brought David back to reality. He shook his head slightly.

"If you two are done I'd like to head back home now." He said as they walked to their bikes. "We need to get some rest. Tomorrow night we've got some business to take care of."

~The Following Night~

All Y/n wanted to do was eat their cotton candy in peace. The night was beautiful not too hot and the boardwalk wasn't as crowded to due the concert across town. It was the perfect night.

Until a familiar face popped up. "Oh hey I remember you! You were having a late night snack in the woods last night." They smiled up at David as they took a huge bite from the cotton candy.

"About that kitty. You weren't planning on telling anyone were you?" They shook their head. "Not my business to tell. What you do in your time and what you chose to eat is not any of my concern."

He raises a brow at them. "So your telling me that your not scared?" They shook their head. "Not even a little bit?" "Nope." They said as they finished up their sweet treat.

They walked over to the trash to toss it. David was right there. "OK so if I was to vamp out right now and rip that guys throat out you wouldn't be in the least teeny bit phased?" He asked throwing out a random scenario.

Y/n shook their head. "No sir. Not my monkey not my circus." They said. That's when the famous David pout came in. The bratty one.

"I put a lot of time and effort into being this scary. It's just down right rude of you to not be afraid." He said as a glare formed on his face.

They stopped dead in their tracks. "So your telling me basically I hurt your ego?" They asked trying not to laugh but the look on his face was making it harder and harder.

"If you laugh you die." He growled crossing his arms over his chest. "Awwww I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to. I promise I wasn't. Look maybe we can start over?" They suggested.

"I'm Y/n. And what might your name be Mr. Big scary vampire?" They giggled up at him. "It's David." He grumbled. "Nice to meet you Davy!"

If David could blush he'd be about 50 shades of red. "That was a cute attempt at a joke kitty." He said looking down at them.

"Awe come on! I could always call you snookums." They smirked. "You know Davy doesn't sound too bad."

Dwayne Paul and Marko all smirked at their brother. "They are so cute together!" Marko grinned. "Have you read his thoughts? They are so sweet!" Paul laughed.

Dwayne chuckled. "I guess David isn't that scary after all boys."

David growled in their link. "I heard that asshats!"

Cheesy nicknames

It was a normal evening in the scrap yard. Denny and Russell had gone on a camping trip and Sideswipe Strongarm and Grimlock were all on patrol. That left only Bumblebee Fixit and Roxie in the scrap yard. Fixit was deep into his work so you could say in a way he wasn't there either. And that's just how Bumblebee wanted it to be. He'd been trying for weeks to spend some alone time with Roxie. They've been going out for 6 months and still haven't had any alone time. Bee paced back and forth at the command center. "Fixit is there any Decepticon activity?" He asked. "No sir none at all." Bee nodded. He walked off to find Roxie. After 20 minutes of searching he finally found her. "Target sited. I'm going in." He said as he transformed into his human form. Roxie was trying to pick out a movie to watch. Two strong arms wrapped around her waist. "Hey Bumblebee." She said. "Hey honeybee." He replied. Roxie chuckled. "What's so funny?" Bee asked. "You and your cheesy nicknames." She replied. Bee gets a sly grin on his face. He picks Roxie up and tosses her on the couch. He quickly gets on top of her pinning her arms down. "I've got a lot more cheesey nicknames." He says grinning. "Lay em on me." She says. "Ok snookums." Roxie crinkled her nose. "What you didn't like that cutie pie." Bee teased. "I've got more." He says. "Cuddle buddy." "Honey bunny." "Not amused Bee." Roxie said. "Don't worry baby doll there's more." Bee replied. "Ok there's cupcake, hot mama, buttercup, snugly wuggly, boo, boo bear, honey bunch, fluffy and my last one is dimples." Bee looked down at a grinning Roxie. "So which one do you like." He asked. "I like honeybee." Bee smirked. He leaned in and gave Roxie a kiss. "Come on honeybee. Let's watch a movie." Bee says. "Ok then bumblebum."

David had been alive for a very long time. Longer than anyone else in his little tribe of miscreants. He wouldn't go into detail as to how long exactly but it has been a while.

For a vampire time could pass rather slowly or very quickly. Depending on weather or not you are a part of of coven. Some often think back to the lives they lived before the turn. Madness often sets in as well as regrets.

David knew this all too well. There were many a night when he would separate himself from the others so he could think. He often though of his mother and how loving she was. How much she wanted him to provide her with grandchildren.

And with each thought of his mother always leads him back to the same thought. The love of his life. Y/n. If he closed his eyes he could still imagine their face in his head. From their beautiful face all the way down to the feet.

He recalled their days together. His pig headed attitude would often be the source of the argument. Nothing would ever last though. He spend all day trying to make it up to them. From breakfast time all the way to lunch. They eventually forgave him. The argument may as well have never happened

He would make himself forget such things. He knew his mother and his love were gone. There was no sense in digging up the past. Not now that is. The only way he'd see either of them again was if he was dead. Or so he thought.

"David? Yoohoo earth to David?" Marko said as he waved his hand in front of his adopted brothers face to get his attention. Its like he wasn't even there. As he stood in his spot on the boardwalk he looked into the eyes of someone he thought was gone.

He blinks a few times and shook his head. "What? What is it?" He said as he looked at his adopted brother. Marko went to speak but David cut him off. "Hang on Marko I've got something to do." He said pushing past him.

He did his best to rush past all the people that were in his way. But it seemed the more he tried the more and more people trampled over him. By the time he looked up at them again they had vanished almost as quickly as they came.

David cursed under his breath. "They were just right there. Damnit!" He growled. The rest of the boys had caught up to him and were highly confused. "What are you talking about man?" Dwayne asked with a raised brow. For almost a minute no one said anything.

A rough sigh came from David's lips as he turned back to his brothers. "Nothing. It's stupid." He shook his head. Dwayne being the understanding one of the bunch put his hand on his shoulder. "I've never seen you act like this man. You can tell us. Paul promises not to tease you otherwise I'll shove my fist up his bony ass."

David smirked at his brothers comment as well as Paul's terrified expression. "I appreciate the concern Dwayne. But like I said it's nothing. Now enough of this. We came here to have some fun right?" He asked. Paul and Marko bay like two wild coyotes before running off.

Dwayne rolled his eyes. "If you change your mind we'll be on the beach." He said before he went to follow the terror twins. "Thank you.." David said in a voice just above a whisper.

Before he turned to follow them he took one last look. And again there they were. David's eyes widened yet again as he looked at the love of his life. He brushed it off as just another figment of his imagination. Just as quickly as they came they vanished into thin air.

A few days later David was on the bridge cigarette in hand. He took a long drag as he looked out into the night. This was the place he'd often come to when he needed to clear his head. Especially after recent events.

Suddenly a sweet smell hit his nose. One he had not smelled in a long time. He turned his body to see them once again staring him in the face. He knew he wasn't dreaming this time.

"How are you here?" He asked them as he slowly approached them. "Same as you my love. A simple swig of the old "wine"." They said with a smile as bright as the moon.

"Who? How? I mean I thought you were dead?" They pressed their finger to David's lips. "I know you have questions my love but they can wait. I've waited nearly a century to wrap my arms around you again." They said

David chuckled. "Call me cliché but you look just as radiant as the day I saw you last." He smirked softly. "Always a charmer David. God how I've missed you."

The two lovers embraced each other. And just as it was the day they departed one another's company their love was as bright as the sun. After all time has no meaning when your in love.

Thunderstorms by the ocean (The lost boys x reader)

So it's been a minute since I've written anything and my first time writing a reader insert but I've recently been inspired. I'd like to dedicate this to @auntvamp. You helped me get my grove back love 💘

Thick black clouds rolled into the skies of Santa Carla just as the sun began to set. The weather forecast called for at least a week of rain. Not that the town couldn't use it of course but it was still an inconvenience to some of the towns occupants. More specifically 4 vampires and their mate.

A loud clap of thunder is what woke them. Marko groaned. "You've got to be kidding me." "What a lovely way to wake up." David said sarcastically as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"It's a good thing we have those blood bags in the stash." Dwayne said as he got down from the rafters they slept on. He took a deep breath through his nose and a smile came on his face. "Y/n is here."

Before anyone could even comment on what he had said Paul and Marko flew into the main room of the cave where their beloved mate was. Y/n hums a soft tune as she sits some stuff down on one of the old armchairs.

Paul being of course Paul wrapped his arms around her waist when he landed on the ground. "Hey mama. We didn't expect to see you this early." Y/n giggled slightly. "I can always leave and come back if you'd like?"

"No! Sides its raining pretty bad out there now. So you ain't going no where." Marko smirks as he planted a kiss on her nose making her scrunch it up. "It's a bummer about the rain. But I brought some games and junk to keep us occupied." She said

A chuckle rumbled through Paul's chest. "I know what we could do to keep us occupied." He smirked as he grazed his fangs down her neck ever so slightly. A moan/gasp fell from her lips. "Paulie stop it." She whined trying to get away.

"What? The best love making is done when it's raining." He said innocently. Marko rolled his eyes. "Dude seriously?" He asked. Paul sticks his tongue out at his brother as a response.

"I have to agree with Paul on this one. Who knows what the night will bring." David said as he and Dwayne finally came into the room. Y/n managed to wiggle away from Paul and made her way to Dwayne.

The muscle of the group wrapped his arms around her protectively. "Nice to see you too princess." He smiled placing a few tiny kisses on her face. "Am I the only one here not getting in on the kissing?" David joked

"Here bro." Paul said walking over with his lips puckered. "I will knock your teeth down your throat if you even think about it." David warned with a fist already balled up. "OK ok geez. Talk about violent."

Y/n rolled her eyes at her mates. "So I'm guessing no cuddle pile then?" "Yes we can definitely do that. We just need to make sure Paul and David are on opposite sides." Dwayne said. "Deal!" She said as she went to her nest area to set up the bed.

She arranged the pillows on the bed so that everyone could more or less have their own. She knew they wouldn't need any of the fluffy blankets she brought but she definitely would. After all it was drafty in the cave and she (for the moment) was still a human.

She plops down in the middle of the king sized bed. "OK boys I'm ready!" Marko ran in first taking the spot right between her legs much to Paul's dismay.

"Ass! You always get to lay there!" "You snooze you lose bro." He smirked. Dwayne scoots in behind her having adjusted her position slightly with David and Paul sitting on her left and right respectively. A soft sigh came from her lips.

"Something wrong kitten?" David asked as he placed a kiss on her chin. She shook her head gently. "No not at all. It's just if you listen closely you can hear the rain hitting the waves." She said closing her eyes to listen to the sound.

For a moment the 4 vampires were silent. The sound of rain beating against the ocean filled their ears. A sense of relaxation came over them just as it had Y/n. All 4 of them relaxed against their mate.

"You know maybe the rain isn't so bad." Paul said. "I could definitely get used to this." Marko added in. David and Dwayne let out agreeing sighs.

Y/n felt a grin come across her face as she laid with her mates. "Ain't nothing like a good thunderstorm by the ocean." She whispered as a soft rumble of thunder sounded in the distance.

"There is one thing that could make it even better though." Marko said as he looked up at her. Oh boy this couldn't be good. He had that gleam in his eyes.

"And what would that be Marky mark?" Y/n asked. She felt Dwayne tighten his grip on her. She didn't need to look at Paul and David to tell they were smirking.

"Tickles!!" The sweet sound of laughter filled the air. Maybe storms truly weren't that bad after all.
