Thunderstorms by the ocean (The lost boys x reader)

So it's been a minute since I've written anything and my first time writing a reader insert but I've recently been inspired. I'd like to dedicate this to @auntvamp. You helped me get my grove back love 💘

Thick black clouds rolled into the skies of Santa Carla just as the sun began to set. The weather forecast called for at least a week of rain. Not that the town couldn't use it of course but it was still an inconvenience to some of the towns occupants. More specifically 4 vampires and their mate.

A loud clap of thunder is what woke them. Marko groaned. "You've got to be kidding me." "What a lovely way to wake up." David said sarcastically as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"It's a good thing we have those blood bags in the stash." Dwayne said as he got down from the rafters they slept on. He took a deep breath through his nose and a smile came on his face. "Y/n is here."

Before anyone could even comment on what he had said Paul and Marko flew into the main room of the cave where their beloved mate was. Y/n hums a soft tune as she sits some stuff down on one of the old armchairs.

Paul being of course Paul wrapped his arms around her waist when he landed on the ground. "Hey mama. We didn't expect to see you this early." Y/n giggled slightly. "I can always leave and come back if you'd like?"

"No! Sides its raining pretty bad out there now. So you ain't going no where." Marko smirks as he planted a kiss on her nose making her scrunch it up. "It's a bummer about the rain. But I brought some games and junk to keep us occupied." She said

A chuckle rumbled through Paul's chest. "I know what we could do to keep us occupied." He smirked as he grazed his fangs down her neck ever so slightly. A moan/gasp fell from her lips. "Paulie stop it." She whined trying to get away.

"What? The best love making is done when it's raining." He said innocently. Marko rolled his eyes. "Dude seriously?" He asked. Paul sticks his tongue out at his brother as a response.

"I have to agree with Paul on this one. Who knows what the night will bring." David said as he and Dwayne finally came into the room. Y/n managed to wiggle away from Paul and made her way to Dwayne.

The muscle of the group wrapped his arms around her protectively. "Nice to see you too princess." He smiled placing a few tiny kisses on her face. "Am I the only one here not getting in on the kissing?" David joked

"Here bro." Paul said walking over with his lips puckered. "I will knock your teeth down your throat if you even think about it." David warned with a fist already balled up. "OK ok geez. Talk about violent."

Y/n rolled her eyes at her mates. "So I'm guessing no cuddle pile then?" "Yes we can definitely do that. We just need to make sure Paul and David are on opposite sides." Dwayne said. "Deal!" She said as she went to her nest area to set up the bed.

She arranged the pillows on the bed so that everyone could more or less have their own. She knew they wouldn't need any of the fluffy blankets she brought but she definitely would. After all it was drafty in the cave and she (for the moment) was still a human.

She plops down in the middle of the king sized bed. "OK boys I'm ready!" Marko ran in first taking the spot right between her legs much to Paul's dismay.

"Ass! You always get to lay there!" "You snooze you lose bro." He smirked. Dwayne scoots in behind her having adjusted her position slightly with David and Paul sitting on her left and right respectively. A soft sigh came from her lips.

"Something wrong kitten?" David asked as he placed a kiss on her chin. She shook her head gently. "No not at all. It's just if you listen closely you can hear the rain hitting the waves." She said closing her eyes to listen to the sound.

For a moment the 4 vampires were silent. The sound of rain beating against the ocean filled their ears. A sense of relaxation came over them just as it had Y/n. All 4 of them relaxed against their mate.

"You know maybe the rain isn't so bad." Paul said. "I could definitely get used to this." Marko added in. David and Dwayne let out agreeing sighs.

Y/n felt a grin come across her face as she laid with her mates. "Ain't nothing like a good thunderstorm by the ocean." She whispered as a soft rumble of thunder sounded in the distance.

"There is one thing that could make it even better though." Marko said as he looked up at her. Oh boy this couldn't be good. He had that gleam in his eyes.

"And what would that be Marky mark?" Y/n asked. She felt Dwayne tighten his grip on her. She didn't need to look at Paul and David to tell they were smirking.

"Tickles!!" The sweet sound of laughter filled the air. Maybe storms truly weren't that bad after all.
