Soon, Jasper saw another bird flying toward him. It was a jackdaw, whose name turned out to be Frederick. They talked for some time. Frederick had a white raven feather quill that he was eager to trade. Alas, Jasper had nothing to trade. They both went away disappointed.

Jasper the Lonely Raven Part One

Jasper The Lonely Raven Part One

Once, long ago and far away, a fledgling Raven named Jasper lived in a dead tree. His tree had lived and died in Glumsburg, a town long abandoned by those who built it. In those days, Jasper had everything he could want, except friends.

One day, Jasper was visited by a badger. This badger, one Sir Winston Smythe-McDaniels had a problem and needed help. His vial of spider venom had been stolen. Such a wicked deed, because that vial of deadly poison was all he had left to remember his dear, departed mother. Jasper asked who could have done such a thing. Sir Winston replied that it had been none other than the dastardly villain, Mr Pistachio. Jasper gathered his courage and tool flight toward the broken jetty, where the feline fiend made his home.
