Warnings for fear, swearing Word count ~1200
------No Matter What------
“Come on, Karl!” Quackity was giving the brunet an exaggerated pout, huffing as he pulled on his fiancé lightly. “You never stay with me and Sap for longer than, like.. I think eight hours was your record.”
“I’m sorry, Quackity, I just..” He hesitated some, pulling gently away from him as he felt his body beginning to fight against this form. “I really need to go, okay?”
“Come on, Karl!” That was Sapnap now, giving the biggest smirk as he wrapped his arms around Karl from behind him. “Just ten more minutes? Please?”
They were in a field, having a picnic. There was only the dessert left now, just small fruit tarts that Niki had made for them this morning.
“Fine,” Karl sighed, chest feeling light as his fiancés cheered, “but only because I like you.”
He pretended to glower at them, though he dissolved into giggles as they laughed. He really loved the humans, and he’d accepted their proposals with enthusiam.
He just worried how they’d feel when they saw how he usually was.
His thoughts were interrupted by a hissing sound, and Karl zoned back in with wide eye on a creeper set to explode behind his beloved fiancés. Time seemed to slow and he shouted a warning before everything around him shifted.
His human size slipped between his fingers like water and he curled his body over Quackity and Sapnap, shielding them and smacking away the creeper with a hand. It exploded in the air a short distance from his hand, the giant flinching
Adrenaline pumped through him and he could feel himself shaking from the nerves. He let out a shaky sigh, leaning back and sitting on his knees, planting the balls of his feet behind him and uncovering his fiancés.
He looked down at the two with a relieved smile. They were okay, But that smile slipped as what he’d done caught up to him, and he saw the look on their faces.
They looked terrified, and they stumbled away from him. They got out of his shadow, squinting as the sun finally reached their eyes directly.
He moved before thinking about it, blocking their path with both hands. And then he took in how they screamed, and how they looked at him like he was some kind of monster.
And it hurt.
“Let us go!” That was Sapnap, pulling Quackity closer to himself protectively.
“Fine! Leave! See if I care!” Karl withdrew his hands quickly, blinking away the moisture that was gathering in his eyes. He pulled all of his limbs close to himself, hugging his knees to his chest and resting his chin on them.
“Wh-Who... What are you?” That was Sapnap again, and he sounded... well, scared, upset... pissed even. “What did you do to Karl?”
“I..” Karl frowned slightly, feeling overwhelmingly confused and largely out of place. “You think.. I’m, uh,” a short laugh, humorless, left him, “I am Karl.”
Silence answered him. The two humans seemed to converse quietly before Sapnap sounded panicked and shook his head slightly. Karl fought the urge to lean in and listen, heart twisting with something akin to jealously, oddly enough. Sapnap tried to pull Quackity back as he walked closer to Karl, who slowly lifted his head as he eyed his fiancé.
“Karl?” Quackity’s eyes searched the brunet’s face, as if making sure that every detail was as it was supposed to be. That this was truly his beloved Karl. “It’s really you?”
At his nod, Sapnap crept slowly closer as well, looking up at him through the black hair hanging in front of his eyes. Both of them seemed to be jittery, but seeing their fiancé looking upset like this tugged at their heart, size be damned.
“You’re... you’re not running.” Karl observed, moving slowly and shifting to sit with his legs crossed as he leaned forward. His fiancés, for their credit, didn’t move away more than a few steps. “Um, surprise?” He tried, though that barely got him a snort before he was fiddling with his hands anxiously. “This is, uh... a lot, huh?”
“That’s one way to put it.” Sapnap chuckled, and it wasn’t a forced sound, nor mocking, to Karl’s relief.
“For sure,” Quackity agreed with a smirk before looking up to Karl, “is this why you’ve never stuck around for a long time, then?”
Karl felt his face warm slightly, and he smiled, all kindness and love and soft edges. “I figured I might freak you guys out. I was going to tell you at some point, I swear, it’s just... Well, you know how you reacted when you first saw me like this.” A saddened chuckle left him, one that was forced and clearly trying to lighten the mood despite how much their fear had cut into him. “I’m not that scary, am I?”
“No!” Both of his fiancés were quick to try to comfort him. It was sweet, that even though they were obviously nervous around him, they wanted to assure him that everything was okay.
“But,” Karl winced, “you wanted to get away from me. And I’m not mad!” He assured them of that quickly, not wanting them to think that. “And I would never ever hurt either one of you. I love you both so much.” He worried his bottom lip between his teeth, glancing down at his beloved fiancés. “But I.. um, it’s okay if you don’t want to be together anymore, I understand.”
“Karl,” Quackity was talking lowly, deliberately as he worked through whatever hw was trying to say in his head, “we both love you. Just because you’re a little bigger doesn’t change that.” Then, almost as an afterthought, though an affectionate one, he added, “Nimrod.”
“Yeah, honestly we were both worried that you’d found another man, or something.” Sapnap gave him a big smile, full of warmth and love that looked so strange from how Karl was seeing it now. “But Quackity’s right; we obviously still love you and we can work through.. whatever this is. Can you explain?”
Karl let out a happy little noise he couldn’t quite place and nodded, scooping up his fiancés in cupped hands and bringing them a bit closer to his face. He didn’t feel how they’d flinched, startled at the quick movement, just observing them and marveling at how small his humans were.
And then he was rambling about something, and walking toward his own home that was at the edge of the SMP. He talked about how this was his natural size, and it had always been, but drinking a potion--the recipe of which he’d stumbled on on a late night adventure--made him human sized.
And that was how he’d originally met his beloved fiancés, mesmerized by the human civilization he found himself in. But he’d discovered that he could only hold that human form for so long before his body started to fight against it to return to its natural state.
But as he rambled on and on, he glanced down at his boys, and his heart softened. They looked.. comfortable in his hands.
A warm, protective feeling settled over his heart, and he silently vowed that he’d keep them safe.
No matter what.

Gt collective prompt game.
Ft. Tiny Phil and Human Techno.
Content warning: language, death/killing mention, angst
———
It's a harsh world
It's a harsh, harsh world, and Philza Minecraft will do anything to survive.
In this harsh world for him— A Tiny—and he'll use whatever resources he can. Because he has to survive.
...
Philza Minecraft is a tiny that has lived for a long time. Far longer than the normal amount, actually. It's not because of tinies has longer lifespans than humans, No. Actually, there are recent research proving that a tiny has a bit shorter lifespan than a human. But Philza has lived far longer than a tiny and a human's lifespan.
And he owes it to his lover.
"Lady Death" people call her. Whispers bouncing along the cities of travelers— humans and tinies alike— he heard.
"Lady Death has fallen in love with a mortal" the folktale whispered to children said. "The mortal took the love, and swore to her that he will give her everything" It continues on "Lady Death rejected it, Death doesn't desire worldly things. Death has seen things come and go. But there is something that Death desires." The folktale echoed, and Philza knows the continuation "The mortal then was gifted two things, with one of them being 500 years for life. And then Lady Death asked the mortal—"
"Phil?" a voice echoed. Snapping Philza's reminiscense. Phil looked up, and was met with a concerned face "You okay?"
"Yeah, Techno. I'm fine" Phil replied.
Technoblade. A travelling warrior who helped him when he was hunted. It was a frightening situation and though Phil was sure he could escape by himself— especially since he has that thing— he still appreciates the help.
After that incident, Techno and Phil travelled together. They'll travel together for the span of maybe three months. They were heading the same way— with Techno getting a yearly invitation to the neighbouring kingdom colloseum and Phil is Phil, travelling wherever his feet brought him, and it just so happens that he was heading towards the neighbouring kingdom.
They got along great. there was this another time where Phil was almost got taken away by a bear, and Techno saved him— again, a frightening situation where Phil is sure he can get out of it by himself (he carries a sword around for a reason) but were nonetheless grateful at Techno for saving him.
As for Techno, when Phil asked why Techno still bother travelling with him, Techno gave him a simple "Why not?" and continue on eating the freshly-cooked bear meat. Phil laughed it off with a "That mindset will cause you trouble one day, mate"
Of course, Phil isn't being a total hindrance or anything, Phil has a vast knowledge of things in general. There are times when he knew that a certain source of water is poisonous or times when he knew exactly what to do when they saw a traveler got bitten by a poisonous snake(Techno got bit once, actually)
They got along great. Techno doesn't seem to mind or care that Phil is a tiny. He cares for Phil. Several nights were spent with them telling stories to each other— which Phil had plenty— and several mornings were spent with them laughing and relaxing around small animals.
But again. It's a harsh world.
Techno and Phil lives in a harsh world where it's very possible for strangers to try and kill them
And said situation is happening now.
It's getting dark. The sun is gleefully moving down its path, waiting for and cares for no one.
It's getting dark, and two travellers— with one of them being a tiny— meet another pair of travellers.
"It's getting dark. Why don't we rest here for the night?" Offered one of the opposing pair of travelers to Techno and Phil. They agreed, It'll be safer to stay in groups, afterall.
Techno and Phil didn't know, that the decision will cost them greatly.
It was so sudden, the moment the two "travellers" noticed their guards are down, they attacked. One of them locking Techno's movement and the other trapping Phil in a wooden cage while helping the other one locking Techno down.
The situation got ugly very, very quickly
Phil isn't listening to the two "travellers" anymore. His mind is digging up memories. Memories from 232 years ago. Memories from when he first died.
Philza Minecraft died in the hands of hunters. In a cage.
No. Fuck no. Phil thought. I can't die here. I can't— I shouldn't— I still have to—
Philza looked around. It's dark. Dark and wet. It had just hit Phil's mind that it had rained. Before him, Techno is struggling from the hold. The two people who tried to take them are distracted from trying to keep Techno in his place, including the one that's in charge of Phil's cage.
The people had taken Phil's sword, but they hadn't taken anything else from him. The thought left Phil grinning. A foolish decision, really. He's tiny, sure, but that doesn't mean he doesn't carry a hidden blade around.
The wooden cage is normally a hassle to cut, but it's nothing compared to when he was locked in a steel cage centuries ago. The wooden cage was a breeze compared to that.
Thus, Philza Minecraft broke free
Philza Minecraft broke free, and spreaded out his wings.
Philza Minecraft broke free, spreaded out his wings, and looked at each of the human's face. Including Techno's face.
A shine of awe sparked in his eyes, his mouth is left half-open in shock. But most of all, he had the expression of a pleading man. Wanting to be helped.
—but before that, let me tell you a story.
A folktale passed around the world for generations. A story about Lady Death.
A story you have yet to finish reading.
Lady Death gifted a mortal whom she loved two gifts, with one of them being 500 years for life, and one of them was wings.
Lady Death then asked the mortal "Can you live my 'life' for me?" the mortal who was madly in love with Death agreed, and Death gave the mortal a part of her soul, hoping to experience the 'life' she has never experienced.
—that mortal was Philza Minecraft.
That's why Philza shouldn't die.
That's why Philza will do anything to survive.
That's why Philza only spared his two and a half month-long friend a glance, and flew away. Philza had a chance to help him. But he will not take it. Not if it risked the life he had to share with Death.
Afterall, what's two and a half month to a centuries old being?
...
Behind Philza, Techno was left alone. Alone with the two people who were trying to take him.
Alone with the memory of Philza, asking him why Techno had still bothered taking him along. "Why not" Techno had answered. And with the back figure of a flying Philza, Techno had realized what did Philza meant when he said "That mindset will cause you trouble one day"

Warnings for cursing, injuries, fear Word Count ~900
------The Dare------
Sapnap and George were chatting idly as they walked to a nearby town. The path was nothing special, just one that was created by so many people walking it so frequently. It was in an open field, which most people enjoyed because it meant that there was plenty of sunshine and no mobs could creep up on you.
These two just used it because they were used to it, and it was an easy path.
But today was a bit different, and Sapnap stopped suddenly, George bumping into his back. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong when Sapnap suddenly turned to him, pushing his black hair out of his face and grinning mischievously at him.
“George,” he glanced over at the forest on the other side of the field and grabbed his arm, “George, that’s the forbidden forest they were talking about the other day.”
“…yes?” He had no idea where this was going.
“I dare you to go in.”
“What? No, you don’t even know what’s in there.”
“Come on, George, look,” Sapnap shook George’s arm slightly, eyes pleading, “what if we go together? It’ll be safer with the two of us. We can watch each other’s back!” Several moments of silence stretched and George seemed to still be a bit hesitant. “Please?”
“Fine,” He sighed and pulled his arm out of Sapnap’s loose grip and began walking toward the dark forest, “let’s go then.”
Sapnap let out an excited shout and George rolled his eyes, but it was fond. They’d been friends for a long time, after all. He was used to the raven-haired boy’s antics.
Before long, they had made it to the forest, and walked in. It looked…relatively normal, to be entirely honest. It just wasn’t very well-lit, which was maybe the biggest difference, but that was likely due to the thick canopy that the leaves formed high above their heads. They didn’t think much of it, and were starting to get bored of being there when Sapnap felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, crying out.
“Sapnap?” George, turned around, eyes widening at the sight of the arrow sticking out of his friend. Over his shoulder he could make out the pale skull of a skeleton as it loaded another shot. “Shit, come on, let’s go!”
He pulled his friend a bit and started making his way toward a clearing he could see up ahead, letting go of Sapnap for a moment to go and check up ahead. He heard a hissing sound and a startled shout from Sapnap before hearing a loud boom and being thrown across the clearing. His body ached and he sucked in a breath through his teeth as he tried to sit up.
He felt dizzy and his vision darkened, which he attributed to his injuries, especially as his head began to throb. And then he heard a rumbling voice muttering something above him that sounded vaguely concerned before he lost consciousness.
Sapnap rushed forward as a giant suddenly came through the trees, kneeling by his friend and scooping him into his palm. “Hey!” He faltered as the giant turned to look at him, eyes wide and body shaking. He tried and failed to be intimidating, voice quavering and cracking: “What, um, what are you doing?”
The giant cocked its head, expression hidden behind a light wooden mask, a smile charred into it. It was eerie, and it put him even more on edge as the giant reached forward for him. He froze, sucking in a stuttering breath as a finger brushed against his back, flinching away with a hiss as it jostled the arrow still embedded in his shoulder. The hand retreated quickly, and the one holding an unconscious George was pulled close to its chest.
“I want to help you,” The giant was saying, and now that Sapnap was paying attention more, it sounded like he was actually being genuine. He focused on what he could, despite the pain in his shoulder and the surreal nature of the experience.
“Help?” Sapnap took a slow step forward, concern for his best friend driving him to be a bit more courageous even as his vision felt blurred and he began to feel nauseated. He swallowed and motioned vaguely toward the giant with the dull sword in his offhand. “Bullshit, just-“ he blinked hard a few times, his body feeling heavy, “just let me..”
And suddenly the feeling of gravity hit him all at once and he was falling, the sword slipping from his hands. He heard a soft exclamation of surprise and there was movement before he landed on something warm and leathery.
“I gotcha.” He vaguely registered that he was in the giant’s hand before he was being lifted, rolling with a groan to lay on the opposite side of his shot shoulder. Was the arrow poisoned? Or had he simply lost that much blood to feel like this?
“Do.. Do whatever you want with me.” He told the giant, panting and trying (and failing) to keep his eyes open more than a crack. “Just don’t hurt George. Please.”
The giant shushed him softly. “You’re gonna be okay, I promise. I’m not going to hurt either one of you, I swear.”
And what else could Sapnap do but believe him? The world shifted as the giant stood and began walking and Sapnap felt unconsciousness claim him as the world passed by.
so turns out i won’t have wifi again so uh… might be a few before i’m able to post anything 😅
