Picture this, Danny is hanging out with Sam and Tucker when all the sudden he yelps in pain and falls to the ground holding his side. Danny quickly transformers into his ghost form and reaches out to his keep wondering what's happening, and when his keep yells at him to come to it because these weird people in hazmat suits are attacking it.

Danny goes absolutely FARRELL.

Fangs, pointed ears, eyes fully green, claws and all. He's so enraged he doesn't even notice he made a portal by himself, he just goes through it and floats in front of his keep (which is pariah's castle but looks more like an observatory with stars all over the walls and surrounding his keep) absolutely seething.

He gave his parents chance after chance after chance but this this was to far. No more nice ghost king. Summoning the crown and ring + his cloak and armor Danny goes absolutely ferrell on his parents because they dare hurt his keep, HIS KEEP!! something that ever ghost knew not to attack because a ghosts keep was an extension of themselves.

And Jack and Maddie were absolutely terrified of Phantom for the first time.

Oh God. May the gods take pity on the justice league (read: batman and his clan)

I love OP eldritch horror Danny as much as anyone. But I gotta say, in over his head Danny who's absolutely batshit feral in a fight and wins his battles by the skin of his teeth holds a special place in my heart.

Cause he didn't ask for any of this. He didn't ask for powers that have backfired on him almost as much as anyone else. And at this point in his life he's been beaten down, only to get back up and spit in someone's eye so many times he could write three autobiographies about it. And he did it all as a scrawny highschooler. No team of heroes with funding and training to rely on. No mentor to tell him how to do things.

Danny and co are the ultimate McGuyver squad/ductape saves the day type of superheroes.

And he's been blindsided and attacked at every turn almost since day one. In his school. In his home. Any second a seemingly average day could go south. He never really knows when it'll happen next. He maintains any kind of leverage only through constant vigilance and a stubborn refusal to stay down when he's knocked down. Not to mention very painful first hand experience.

And that there's Emotional Damage.

I wanna see a fic where Danny's paranoia and talent for DlY are his greatest achievements and most devastating weaknesses. I wanna read all the fics where Danny is a distrusting gremlin who will absolutely bite a motherfucker and latch on long after he tastes the blood before he ever admits defeat. Because for god's sake the one and only time this kid ever saw an actual therapist who isn't his unlicensed teenage sister the woman turned out to be a soul-sucking demon who manipulates the worst out of her clients because she literally feeds off misery.

He got his start in heroics with no training, with his friends by his side. And you could argue that Maddie could train Danny in martial arts cause she definitely has that skill set. But... Danny is her youngest. And while I haven't seen the show for a while. I do remember her babying him a whole hell of a lot. So there is a part of me that believes that would be a significant hurdle for her to overcome before she would actually train her youngest in anything. Not that she believes she has a reason to train him in the first place. The next hurdle.

Ergo, Danny who learned to fight by being beaten down with no mercy. So he fights dirty and unrefined and bloody when he can't manage to keep his distance and fight long-range. He bites, yanks at hair, shoves his thumbs in eye sockets if he can't grab a fistful of dirt. And then throws an ectoblast just to make sure he got his point across.

I wanna see a Danny who's only survived his own recklessness out of sheer will power and SPITE.

And then shove him into the DC universe.

Bruce&Danny Besties/Mentor/BigBro au!!!

I just love the idea of any interaction among these two

King!Danny +Young! Bruce= Chaos

I thinking that they met before Bruce trained with the LoA, Danny was on his first vacation since he begin his duties as the Ghost King and he was bored. Somehow Bruce find out about Danny being Phantom, an ex-hero with years of experience and asks him if he could train him

He regret it.

Danny became in one of the Bruce's mentors, and is actually pretty good but that if you don't count when he loses Bruce in other dimensions, make him work as stripper, throw him into different times and let him babysit gods/op beings.

At first Bruce tried to behave and treat his new mentor with respect and distance, but WHAT THE HELL!! IS THAT THE GRINCH!!!???!

Bruce just can't be indifferent when is about Danny, his new mentor (friend? Friendtor?... He had pass too much time with Danny....) who is too chaotic but too kind at the same time.

Danny's vacation finish and he had to go back to the zone, Bruce met the LoA. (they still in contact but the time is weird in the GZ/IR and Danny don't talk as much as he thinks with bruce)

Bruce have a shock when he sees Danny appearing from the ghost king summon circle.

This day sucks

He had a fight with Bruce, the Golden boy lecture him and he had to babysit the replacement and the demon brat. Plus the joker escape of Arkham (as always) and kill anyone in his path.

They were in the middle of a street in the crimen alley, the joker was running to a random teen who looked unbothered and didn't show any trace of fear.

The kid was an idiot or hide something. Hopefully the second, he don't want to deal with the death of the kid, or any kid in the case.

Sundelly, the kid smile and said: "Pikachu! Use thunder shock!"

This kid was an idiot?!!

Then a little girl appeared of nowhere, she had a Pikachu hoodie and yell: "PIKA-PIKA!.. CHU!!!"

Lightning began to come out of the girl and then attack the Joker. Shocking him and leaving him unconcious
