Wanted to try and step outside of the box with my style, and draw an alternative version of Erik (but anime-fied, of course). This is modern Erik! Albeit he's younger here.
In this universe, he's a guy who knows his way around tech, and he uses his tech knowledge to 'haunt' a conservatory of music - the exact one the famous Christine Daae is studying at. Erik wasn't accepted into the conservatory. He doesn't get why - because he's a musical genius, right - and now he's ghosting around out of spite. He lives underground still, but instead of candles, he's got a ton of screens that show the CCTV footage of the conservatory's campus. He sees everything - and he posts about the latest gossip. Even people's greatest secrets.
The Daroga decides to check out Erik's opera (and therefore his plan to kidnap Christine). Hold up. Erik wanted to do WHAT on stage?

I slip in and out of hibernation to bring you concept art for that POTO RPG-maker game I posted about the other day. I think imma call it Phantom of the Mansion (slight reference to Hitman). It's gonna be an alternative universe.
Premise (so far): 1880. Poor Christine Daae has just lost her father. The kind Giry-family picks her off the street and takes her into their home. Wanting to pay them back for their efforts, Christine goes job searching. Most people won't take her, except for this one group. Spiritualists, they call themselves. They communicate with spirits and help them 'move on' or so they say. Christine joins the Spiritualists, becoming a 'Spirit Sleuth' and tries to learn their ways. She is sent to Château Mortel - a mansion notorious for its nightly organ music and its mysterious spirit; a spirit that tortures those who dare enter his home.
I have not been checking my socials lately. So sorry! Update on life: I have two new cats, so i'm a cat-dad again. I've passed most exams so far but uni is taking up sm of my time. I've bought a shit ton of books. And i've drawn a POTO Tarot card. Might make it a series. What card should i do next?
