a/n: I wore this really pretty purple dress to a banquet yesterday and now I can’t stop thinking about going to a banquet with Vil for the first time as a couple

You never imagined you'd be here. Not in a million years. Yet here you are, standing in front of a grand, ornate mirror in the dressing room of the most luxurious banquet hall you've ever set foot in. The reflection staring back at you is almost unrecognizable, but undeniably beautiful. Your deep purple dress cascades down in elegant waves, hugging your curves in all the right places, making you feel like royalty. A small, nervous smile creeps onto your face as you adjust a stray curl, hoping everything stays in place for the night.

"Are you ready, darling?" Vil's voice, smooth and confident, echoes from behind the door. There's a tenderness in his tone that never fails to make your heart flutter.

Taking a deep breath, you nod to yourself before stepping out. The moment your eyes meet his, you can see the approval and admiration sparkling in his violet eyes. Dressed impeccably in a tailored suit, Vil is the epitome of grace and elegance, his golden hair falling perfectly into place. He extends a hand towards you, a silent invitation.

"Ready," you reply, slipping your hand into his.

The banquet hall is nothing short of breathtaking. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling, casting a warm, ethereal glow over the room. Guests mingle and chat, their laughter and conversation a pleasant hum in the background. But as you walk in, all eyes seem to turn towards you and Vil. Whispers and murmurs follow your steps, but you pay them no mind. With Vil by your side, you feel invincible.

You both make your way to your table, where familiar faces greet you with warm smiles and nods. Vil pulls out your chair for you, a simple gesture that sends a wave of affection through you. Once seated, the conversation flows easily, but you find yourself stealing glances at Vil every few moments. The way he interacts with others, so poised and articulate, makes your heart swell with pride and admiration.

"Enjoying yourself?" he asks quietly, leaning in just enough for only you to hear.

"Very much," you reply, your smile genuine. "Thank you for inviting me."

His hand finds yours under the table, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I wouldn't want to be here with anyone else."

Dinner is served, and the courses are as exquisite as the company. The flavors dance on your palate, a symphony of culinary delight. But the true highlight of the evening is the moment Vil stands, holding out his hand once more.

"May I have this dance?" he asks, his voice filled with a softness reserved only for you.

You nod, your heart racing with anticipation. The two of you make your way to the dance floor, where a waltz is already in full swing. As his arms encircle you, you feel a sense of calm wash over you. The world around you fades away, leaving only the music and the warmth of Vil's embrace.

He leads you gracefully, each step perfectly in sync. The purple dress you wear swirls around you, a vibrant contrast against Vil's dark attire. You can feel the eyes of the room on you, but in this moment, it's just the two of you. His hand on your waist is firm yet gentle, guiding you effortlessly across the floor.

"You're an amazing dancer," you whisper, your voice barely audible over the music.

"And you," he replies, his lips curving into a smile, "are a vision."

You laugh softly, a sound that seems to blend perfectly with the melody. Time seems to stretch and blur, each moment an eternity and an instant all at once. When the music finally fades, there's a collective sigh from the onlookers, but all you can see is Vil's face, his eyes locked onto yours.

The rest of the evening passes in a blur of laughter, conversation, and shared glances. Every now and then, Vil's hand finds yours, a reassuring presence that grounds you amidst the opulence and grandeur. As the night draws to a close, you find yourselves outside, the cool night air a welcome contrast to the warmth inside.

"Did you have a good time?" Vil asks, his hand still intertwined with yours.

"The best," you reply, leaning into him.

He smiles, a soft, genuine expression that makes your heart ache with love. "Good. Because this is just the beginning."

You look up at him, your eyes meeting his. "Of what?"

"Of many more nights like this," he says, his voice filled with promise. "Together."

And in that moment, standing under the stars with Vil by your side, you know he's right. This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey, one filled with love, laughter, and countless nights like this. Together.
