Even though, I would rather assume that at the moment of Las Nevadas peak, it would be Quackity, who would distance himself. He lost quite a lot of lovers. He got forgotten by Karl, Sapnap didnt decide to even like...check on him and call him over, Revivebur is a bitch, he got a toxic relationship with Schlatt in the past.

That man is...quite broken. He woudlnt be the same and even someone as drunk as Schlatt would see that. Quackity avoiding sober touch, pushing the ram hybrid back with the wooden part of his axe. Schlatt just wondering briefly who fucked that house up. (Well, besides of him. I think....80+ years in limbo are enough to really reflect on your life-)

Listening to Lana Del Rey lately makes me think of Quackity and Schlatt and their lavish lifestyle in a reimagined version of Las Nevadas. The parties, diamonds, drugs, and the like. Some of her songs fit them so well, one of those being Cinnamon Girl off of NFR. Reading its lyrics makes me picture Quackity and Schlatt on opposing sofas in a small smoking room with one side being a full window pane wall overlooking the beauty of Las Nevadas, Q gazing over Schlatt, who was suited in a black blazer and crimson dress shirt with a gold feather pendant on his neck, sprawled across the furniture drunk and asleep with a hand dangling around the neck of a half-drank whiskey.

Quackity would be in his silver gown glistening more than champagne ever could, freshly high and pondering of their sexual affair and desiring things beyond that, wishing to Schlatt that he would stop keeping him at a distance through alcohol, cigarettes, pills, or powder, and instead further embrace Quackity wholeheartedly, which in their sober minds they'd think it's ridiculous and impossible. Besides that, sex was one of the ways for them to cope with the pains that haunt them throughout their lives, but for once he wanted to find another way to cope or rather to ease his bruised and troubled soul with a mere embrace, something he never thought he'd yearn so badly for Schlatt to do.

Just because at the moment Quackity strongly wondered, 'would we be better had we become more than what we are now?' He doesn't want to feel orgasm, he wants to feel a love that's just as physical; whilst stoned, such feeling is of desperation heavy to the chest. It's that desire to be touched, gentle and delicate, for the sake of doing so or as a subtle confession. That desire to be held in his beloved's arms without it proceeding to harm or fucking but just to thaw the ice that walled his self in aching cold. That desire to be acknowledged less as a hole to fill and more as the one who's been there for someone else. He could only imagine how good that must be.

Samuel is a servant! Basically he served the royal family for years, had some intimate relationship with the king, Zeon, and actually did love the man despite the short temper and how cruel the king was. (Which has it's own reasons, generational trauma, love that-)

Sam didnt really...pay attention to the bad treatment he himself was getting, as it felt normal (he grew up in a...quite big family, having nine other siblings, so there wasnt really love and care and more of survival)

The prince, Jonathan, was quite young when Samuel started working as a servant and felt more free to express himself when with the man than with his own father.

So Samuel became a father figure for him and they grew close with Sam often trying to refocus Zeons anger on him instead of the boy.

Jonathan didnt grow up blind to his fathers behavior and when coming off age (17) he wanted to take over the kingdom. During the fight, Zeon managed to take the upper hand, killing his son.

Samuel was the one to hold the dead body and scream while Zeon basically told him to get a grip on himself. When Sam's behavior didnt get better after days and he continued to not watch his tongue, Zeon suggested that a few days of dungeon for him would help this spoiled attitude. (Zeon *does* have some feelings for the servant but he would never admit it)

That dungeon time was enough for Samuel to get together a plan.

This whole story was initially based on a minecraft roleplay, which is why it has stuff like weakness potions, so...in the time of a few weeks the servant started to add small portions in the kings food, not enough to kill someone so even if the food would get tasted by someone else, the symptoms wont show so fast.

So...being under the influence of the weakness potions, Samuel could take the upper hand in combat.

There are two ways the story goes, Samuel kills Zeon, chopping his head off.

Or...he keeps Zeon in the dungeon and basically "trains" him to behave well.

(It all also includes him searching for a way to get Jonathan back and in that version he doenst kill Zeon because that's the only person that he has left.)
