I am drunk and upset right now.
So here is a bit of a bittersweet HC. After the limbo, Schlatt would probably suffer from cptsd and derealization. Starting to hyperventilate and try to isolate himself. Maybe even harm himself to make sure that he is real. That objects that he is holding are real.
So just Quackity holding the taller man in his arms, with Schlatts hands shaking, holding a paper cup in his hand, crumbled as he was holding it tight. (After one of the panic attacks, Quackity started to replace glass objects for paper ones in the kitchen, to make sure that Schlatt won't harm himself during one of the attacks.
Meet the new vice president of Las Nevadas! (Schlatt is in his sugar baby arc. please dont quote me on that- I dont want people in this fandom to know me because of that stupid line-)

I still adore the detail of how Quackity can say the most unhinged, horny, flirtatious thing without anything but a grin but when flirted back he becomes a stuttering mess. Makes me think of Q having a bad or simply stressful day in the cabinet, going again through the same documents. Schlatt just starring at him for some time, not being that great with words of affection, simply walking by and softly bonking Quackitys cheeks, slightly rubbing his head against him. The avians feathers all rising and fluffing up, him trying to let out a comprehensive sentence but only letters coming out-
(Sheep may show affection by softly bonking each other. Not to be confused with the challenging ramming)
Also! Another detail that comes to mind when we think about the missed opportunity of Glatt staying with Quackity and working for him.
We know that Quackity basically ends up in the same place as Schlatt at the end of his story. People of Las Nevadas left him, Foolish, Fundy and at the end Slime betrayed him (for brainwashing reasons but still). He ended up betrayed and alone in a destroyed city. Just like Schlatt.
But gosh...imagine Glatt being there. Imagine Glatt being the one who didn't leave. Just staying next to Quackity, observing the ruins that is left of the city that he build. Glatt doesn't fully remember everything from his "alive" life. He remembers the last death because despite the pain....it was relief, he could finally be free from all the stress and paranoia and he remembers Quackitys face in the crowd of people surrounding him.
So he stays.
Second chances are not to be thrown out.
Okay this is quite silly but something that I just thought about is...sheep see in the dark very well. Their eyes glow because of that...so...what if Schlatts eyes glow in the dark?
Just imagine Quackity waking up to Schlatt sitting in a chair and just those yellow dots staring at him- like your cat does at night- Q just screaming and throwing a pillow at the man, saying that he scared the living hell out of him- (later in their marriage, Schlatt continues to wake up earlier just so he can freak Quackity out-)
I love the ramble about the horns. I can imagine very well that Quackity would be the one to help Schlatt with trimming his horns. As in some cases, horns grow to an extended that it can reach the face and actually harm the sheep!
Also...Schlatt having hearing loss would be so interesting! Since he is a prey hybrid. He has to rely on his hearing so much...which would explain why he would be so paranoid and quick to anger, constantly looking around...
I can't say anything about aromantic as...I am not- and I like romantic pumpkinduo :p bit that's definitely a valid hc to have!!
I love headcanoning like, the backgrounds ?? of characters the most, i think. Like I hc c!schlatt as a jacob sheep.
The sheep are kind of small, and while i dont think c!schlatt is the shortest i definitely dont seem him as taller to other characters (which is part of why he feels a need to be perceived as 'threatening', he doesnt like being seen as small).
They are piebald sheep meaning they can have multicolored wool (brown and white like Schlatts hair. Im apart of the hc that he dyed the white parts brown) and they CAN have multiple sets of horns (up to like, 3, though thats really not that common). Schlatt only has 2 sets, so four horns.
I like to think that sheep (and goat) hybrids hold their horns to a high regard. They take good care of their horns, and feel a sense of shame if a horn breaks/is uneven. Schlatt hates having his horns handled by other people in any regard (but allowed c!Quackity to grab and handle them bc Q was always so so gentle with the horns that Schlatt allowed himself to trust Q. Plus Q would help keep them tidy, while Schlatt helped with Q's wings).
They also decorate their horns with gold and silver. Gifting gold horn jewelry is usually seen as flirting/a sign of closeness, silver usually gifted by family/some friends. Its not a strict code, but c!Techno gifted the gold horn caps I draw on my Schlatt design sometimes and at first, Schlatt was like "Wtf flirting?? Huh????". BUT TECHNO DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT.... piglin culture is different w gold. It was funny once they both figured out the confusion between the two, they laughed abt it.

I am thinking back to Quackity not meaning to shot Schlatt. Him wanting to get the man's attention because Schlatt wasn't listening. Because Schlatt was focusing so much on himself and what he did, instead of acknowledging all the sacrifice that Quackity did.
The arrow was meant to fly next to Schlatt. Maybe cut the cheek but not actually harm him. But Schlatt kept moving. Wouldn't hold still or stop talking, turning in the wrong moment and the sharp tip burrowed itself in the flesh of the man's neck. The rams mouth starting to fill up with blood and him falling to his knees. Quackity only being able to watch with trembling hands, positioning the wings close to his body. Looking around and not seeing anyone before walking over. The taller man grasping onto his clothes, gurgling up blood that splashes on the vice presidents uniform.
It all ending after about five minutes when Schlatt finally stops moving.

Okay...so...you talked about Schlatt having a hearing aid. So...what do we think about him turning it off whenever he has an argument with Quackity?-
Plot twist; Quackity learns sign language, just so he can still tell his point even when Schlatt doesn't physically hear him-

He needs compression socks and a cane. Which makes it harder for him to walk, so he prefers to sit down.
Makes also for some sweet moment between him and Quackity. When Q actually helps him to put those on, as they can be a big pain to pull up.
Schlatt wouldn't really apologize for his past actions, but Quackity won't mention it either. Both are horrible at communication.
Schlatt would actually hate to be seen with the cane but literally can't walk safely without it.
He would slowly manage to reconnect with Fundy, who almost caused him to crash to the floor by jumping on him the first time he saw the ram in las nevadas-
Also. If Schlatt is a hybrid between a goat and a sheep...he would be infertile. Thank you for the attention.
(This would imply that Tubbo is adopted or Schlatt just found him on the street. Tubbo started following him around because he is the first "sheep" hybrid that he saw-)
Okay. I wanna rant and talk again about C!Schlatt and how it makes sense that he is pro-governmental structure or even a structure with an emperor on top.
Him being a sheep hybrid makes sense in that case. Sheep flocks usually have a sheep that leads them (the role of the leader is usually exchanged among the sheep). There are many different factors that determine which sheep will lead the flock. One of those is age and experience (Schlatt would be one of the oldest in the group, especially if we are talking about the Manberg cabinet), dominance which is determined by social interactions (Schlatts comes off as confident in his beliefs. Doesn't matter if he actually has a high self esteem or not as long as he displays such in public) and also initiative, which Schlatt of course showed.
Sheep are very social animals. They will get stressed and depressed in isolation (which makes a lonely limbo quite impactful for Schlatt and could lead to a scenario in which he would be very desperate to stay near the person that revives him). So him wanting to have a community and clear structure makes a lot of sense. So he would definitely be opposed to anarchy that Technoblade and Phil want.
One of the main instincts is to keep the flock safe...so getting rid of danger (such as Tubbo, as he is a traitor) is a reasonable response. (Not saying that Tubbo deserved death but besides of getting rid of him...there weren't many options. Maybe imprisonment, so he won't carry out important information or plans)
(Also. The angst of Quackity being the one to revive Schlatt and Schlatt just acting overly dependent on him because he was in isolation for such a long time. For something that felt like literal years. Quackity not really understanding. Maybe feeling mocked. But later seeing that Schlatt has that behavior with everyone he knew, like Fundy.)
Something that I discussed with my partner but it's so intriguing for my brain to think about how, if Schlatt would get revived, Quackity would scream at him. Just trying to tell him everything he did wrong but talking very fast and loud, getting more and more aggravated with each statement, starting to stutter, clunching his fists before asking "Why aren't you interrupting me?!"
Just being so used to Schlatt never listening before that when he finally does, it simply feels like mockery and like the man is simply waiting for the right moment to make Quackity feel ridiculous and like his words don't mean anything.
(I am all here for character development and a development of their relationship. Schlatt deserves to hear how he messed up and Quackity deserves to be heard for once but previous experience will definitely mess with his mind)

this is a WIP! I have been busy with work and today was my birthday, so I couldn't really finish it but I hope to finish it later on!!
I have to work on the expressions. My autistic brain...struggles...with facial expressions.

We are so close, people- only the shadows/light sources... (plus, I will make Qs skin a bit darker. I changed the background to a white tone and now his skin looks much lighter than on the old background, rrrr--)
