More sketches!! All scenes from howls moving castle or Emily Wilde’s encyclopaedia of faeries (i also doodled Howl and Sophie dancing because I thought it’d be cute)
I just finished reading Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries (which I love, 15/10!), and was thinking about how it and Howls Moving Castle have similar romances & love interests and I think part of the reason they work so well is because Howell and Wendell aren’t just “the perfect man”, they’re the perfect man specifically for Sophie and Emily. They would probably suck to date. They’re vain and lazy. But they complement the main characters perfectly and help them grow as people without forcing them to or expecting them to change. I think that’s one of my favorite parts of those romances, the accepting that the other is who they are but if they want to try and improve themself, helping them.
Anyway, read those books, they’re great
Call me silly but I thought my setup today for taking notes was pretty. I actually managed to take notes on the whole chapter too!!
