Kara didn’t know the details of what Minnie did. She simply didn’t want to know. The other was her best friend throughout middle and high school, not that she remembers any of it of course. The bond they shared was special, one that couldn’t be replicated no matter how hard one may try.

As her hand was slapped away she took a step back, listening to Minnie’s apology. “Thank you for apologizing. I just need to finish cleaning it though.” She spoke calmly, knowing that right now Minnie was possibly her most fragile.
