the recklessness of both characters?? imaculate. i can’t wait to see the shenanigans they get up to

i’ve been doing okay - fleeting concepts have been plaguing me, especially since having come to terms with my original, big scope wip not going anywhere (i’m keeping all the characters to do fun things with tho) namely, some set of four characters with thematically matching powers, and/or a narrative following the best friend of a typical “chosen one” who is thrown into an intensely magical world to help their friend

oh! and stuff with @pagesofcursive​ including revamping old (gay, very gay) wips and collabs with literally all our character

The Thing Plaguing My Mind(TM):

The Beauty and the Beat retelling is currently sporting the working title And All the Lovely Beasts, and it's yet another self-indulgent fairytale retelling of mine (*pretends Cinders doesn't exist*)

The Beast, Leofel, is living a quiet life being plagued by his past and is weirdly reluctant to break his curse. He is kind and quiet in the way of someone who worked hard on not being otherwise.

Bo is a "castle thief", or rather a person who attempted to lock Leofel out of his own castle during his reckless attempt to pretend to be human and acquire some books in a nearby town. They are not at all eager to return to human society, and Leofel is happy to have a guest. But why does their face look somewhat familiar? And why does a certain wanted poster spring to mind?

It's my favorite thing in the world when villains are written too well and it like crosses the line from "realistic motivation" to "wait why are we supposed to disagree with them again?" It's so fun when the evil girlies are right they're just also killing people about it

a queer story doesn’t suddenly stop being a queer story just because it has no romance in it

alex - pacifist fighter

ben (bendis) - if a mildly violent bard was born a healer

I am SO ATTACHED to ALL of them, but unfortunately they nor their world is fleshed out completely so EVERYONE has to wait
