I wasn’t there?

Would you notice If one day

I wasn’t there

To lick your wounds And cradle your ego?

And even if you did notice, Would you even care?  

I am but a fool; Full of blood and salt and shame,  And I let it escape me.  I bleed onto pointed metal, Let my salt escape through liquid and mixed emotion,  And let my shame seep out of me like watercolor.

Turns out, they all do

Every note, every word

Every piece of music

Reminds me of every piece of you

Attaches self to the Earth, immediately gets sick.  

Only thing I miss about TV is shark week
