I simply cannot have the modesty of Watson’s moustache questioned in this manner. I have worked with Watson’s moustache for 2 years now, and can honestly say it is the most modest facial hair I have ever had the good fortune to make the acquaintance of.

Breaking Tumblr anonymity to share some exciting news with you all - this December, I’ll be performing in a production of William Gillette’s Sherlock Holmes at the Bridewell Theatre in London.

I’m playing a very disreputable sort and get to be thoroughly unpleasant to Mr Holmes and … just about everyone my character meets, actually. It’s only a small role, but if any UK-based Tumblrites fancied coming along to watch me beat up my hero, that would be lovely!
