Hello all :)

This is my first post on the site, as I thought that if anything was worth posting, this is!

So basically, my best mate got me the 1st three beautiful Heartstopper graphic novels for Christmas, and in making a home for them on my bookshelf, I had a blank canvas to fill in the shape of an empty space and a box that fit said space perfectly!

About 3 hours, some cardboard and some fabric scraps later, I now have Charlie’s room as a little nook on my bookshelf! The drum set (although far from perfect) was made of some bottle caps and the drum seat of a cap and old matchsticks; the bed of some leftover cardboard (from Christmas wrapping etc.) and scrap fabric (and coloured with a felt) patched together; the neon light of a plastic box (same as the window insert) and the back of some coloured-in wrapping paper; the bear of chunk of cork; and the rest a mix of tape and glue!

I may add some curtains over the window using the leftover fabric, but that’s a job for another day…

Complete with fairy lights (that already covered my shelf’s perimeter) for the window and downlights, this is my bookshelf model of Charlie Spring’s room!
