"Give Them Back."
"Give them back."
You looked down from the ceiling beam you were sat on to see Percival's little frown that you found endearing.
"But you look so cute without them on, dearest." you chuckled to which he sighed.
Percival's irritated scowls were more visible without his glasses on and you were always the first one to admire them. His green eyes seemed to shine as he glared in your direction and your lips wanted to kiss the quiver of annoyance that animated his. You wanted to smoothe the crinkle between his brows. You wanted to caress the fair skin of his cheeks.
You loved when his face was so expressive. He was a piece of art that you wanted to keep for yourself and admire until the end of your days.
"I don't have time for your mischiefs," he groaned and started pacing under you.
"Well I do," you chuckled.
He stopped pacing with an annoyed huff, looked up at and froze. He saw badly without his glasses, but he could see your legs swaying above him and feel the intensity of your gaze on him. He could almost feel how your pulse quicken when your eyes met his. He felt like he was on the middle of the stage of a theatre and your eyes were the totality of the audience and the lighting. You had the unique talent to irritate him and to make him nervous.
"I can see your eyes better without your glasses on."
The awe and reverence in your tone rose goosebumps in the back of his neck and reddened his ears. Percival felt flustered under your eyes. Your pupils were relishing the sight of his breathing hitching.
"Please Percy, let me admire you."

Hello friends!
🍉I am Mahmoud Ayyad, a Palestinian from the besieged and destroyed Gaza 😭😭, coming from a family of young children, women and elderly ❤❤ who have been suffering😭😭 for 300 difficult days of an aggressive war. Our lives are harsh because we lack all the basic necessities of life. Everything has become scarce and difficult to obtain. There is no food, no water, no medicine.
So, I ask you to help me keep my family safe and alive, especially after we lost all our sources of livelihood.
Please do not leave my family to struggle and suffer these difficult days alone. You can support my campaign by donating whatever you can or by sharing my posts to reach others who can help us survive the war to safety and peace. You are helping the lives of many people with your small contribution. ❤❤🍉🍉
Every donation makes a difference in our very difficult lives. But this is a legitimate campaign and has been checked by 90-ghost

Fade sometimes thought you were a dream. You, embracing her and rocking her in a soothing way, cooing and murmuring sweet words in her ear. She did not believe for a moment that this moment was real. It was way too sweet, way too gentle, way too warm. She was used to cold nightmares crawling slowly on the skin of her neck and suffocating her with a harshness akin to a monster.
You, in the other hand, offered your warmth without hesitation. You invited her in your arms, lulled her with soft words, cradled her in your love.
"Am I dreaming ?" she murmured.
You chuckled softly, your fingers scratching her scalp.
"Of course not," you murmured back. "You won't wake up from this."
Fade sighed in delight against your chest as you kept her in a cocoon of warmth and love.
"I love you, aşkım."
"Me too," you whispered. "As long as I am with you, no nightmare will take you away."

Reyna loved drinking wine. She enjoyed the fruity taste that stroked her tongue and the hint of alcohol tickling her senses. She enjoyed taking a glass of wine while admiring the sun setting in the ocean. She even had her own spot on the roof of the base.
Who would have thought that she'd share these moments with you of all people ?
"The only thing missing is a soft music," you murmured as you took a sip of your glass.
Reyna was not one to share. When she liked something, she kept it, yet, you were one of the rare exceptions.
"Music ?" she repeated, an eyebrow raised.
"Yes music," you nodded, your eyes not leaving the sunset. "So I could dance with you."
She just hummed and poured herself another glass. She would hardly admit that sharing this moment with you made her feel at peace. And now that she had this instant, she would not let it go. She would not share with anyone.

moots/lovely lurkers- lend me your ears (or eyes- y'all get it) and allow asmaa to introduce herself in her own words:
"hello I hope my message reaches you well i am asmaa ayyad from gaza, specifically khan yunis, i am 25 years old, i am trying to save me and my family from the war of extermination that is happening now (a/n: asmaa graduated from the university of palestine in 2021 and went on to study/train to become a practicing lawyer) we lost our home, our friends and some of our relatives, I have also been living far away from my fiancé for two years, I cannot reach him because of the increase in the coordination price and the closure of the crossings and borders (a/n: asmaa lists feras_lbrahim in her insta bio as her fiancé) please i want you to help me by publishing for me and standing by my side, as i am now struggling alone to save an entire family i wanted to contact @/90-ghost but he does not respond to me (a/n: since asmaa sent me this message, 90-ghost has been able to get in touch/share her posts) i would be very grateful to you if you helped me"

asmaa's family consists of 8 members- all of whom led beautiful lives prior to the war. asmaa's older brother, dia, was looking forward to his own wedding. instead of experiencing such a joyous day, his life was shattered after his home was destroyed by the israeli army.
to lose a home- all your valuable possessions- your memories- in an instant is something that cannot be fully understood unless you've gone through it yourself. in asmaa's own words (read & share full post here):
"in addition to the pain, oppression and suffering that displacement causes us, there is a material aspect that no one talks about or mentions or mentions in the media. every place we move from to a new place requires transportation from 1,500 to 2,000 shekels... and despite this amount, you cannot transport all your belongings. this is in addition to the costs of setting up the tent again and trying to return what you lost of your things and belongings. displacement kills us more than death, it drains our health, our money and everything we own... displacement is another war that is harsher than this war of starvation and extermination... displacement is a hidden killer. how many people have been martyred because they do not have the price of displacement? the price that saves them from death! how many people have lost their dignity because of it?! oh god, have mercy on us and our situation 🙏💔"
asmaa's family has already lost so much- friends, loved ones, their cat, timur. they are living in a nightmare they cannot wake up from. the decision to evacuate is not an easy one to make nor is it one for the rest of us to scrutinize. it's what asmaa + her family have decided is the best path forward
please support my friend however you can-- the smallest actions can make the biggest impact
if all you can do is share- then share. follow asmaa to get the most up to date news regarding her family. tell someone you know about asmaa's story. allow others who may be able to contribute more find asmaa so her family may get to safety
and if you can give little more, please visit the link below 🖤
