you frowned as you walked up to your front door from a long shift at work, hearing booming music. you quietly unlocked the for even though it probably wouldn’t be heard regardless over the loud music, pushing the door open with your shoulder. stepping into the house, you quickly realised the music was coming from your living room.

slipping off your shoes, you let your bag drop to the floor before following the sound. you could hear voices singing under the loud music, easily realising what was going on. a smile made it’s way to your face as you stepped into the room, looking at your daughter, len, and your husband jumping all over the couches.

the both of them seemed so lost in the moment that only niki had noticed you walk in. you could hear his distinct giggle as he signals with his hand for you to come and join you. you leaned against the doorframe, pondering as to whether you should join or not. you chuckled, giving in quickly as you walked up to your daughter, scooping len up into your arms and attacking her with kisses. she had gotten so big so quickly.

she giggled, squirming to get out of your touch before flopping back onto the couch, jumping again. niki hopped off the couch, nearly hitting his head on the roof before placing a kiss on the crown on your head. “how was work baby?”

“not the best but it’s better now” you said, smiling up at him before pecking his lips. len giggled, cooing before charging into the two of you, quickly being caught by your caring arms. “ careful len!” you playfully scolded, not wanting to ruin her excited mood. you giggled, kissing the top of her head after scooping her up into your arms. you couldn’t if asked for a better life. everything was almost perfect. apart from one thing.

“now can we pleased lower the volume??” you said, still having to raise your voice over the music

bringing your hands up to curl into your hair in frustration, you shut your eyes tightly. the past week, the work overload for school has been overwhelming. the cut off date for more than a few of them were in the next upcoming week and most of them haven’t even been started yet. you let out another huff of anger, giving your hair a small tug before dropping your head to the table on-top of your work, letting your hands fall down beside you.

unbeknownst to you, jake was busying himself at a nearby grocery store, scanning his curious eyes across the colorful shelves. “ah.” he exclaimed to himself when his eyes laid upon a specific type of snack you had always loved. i mean, it was the least he could do as a boyfriend to support you. he knew it would be stressful and he wanted to help. he just didn’t know how.

you didn’t know how much time had passed just sitting there with your head buried in your work when you heard your front door creak open. was it finally the grim reaper deciding it was your time? your heart panted at the thought, causing you to shoot up straight from your recently slouched position in the chair. you shuffled around uncomfortably, peeking towards the door with a scrunched up face. light footsteps padded up the stairs. you could recognise those footsteps anywhere.

letting out a large huff of relieve, you stood up straight, ignore the pain in your lower body due to not having moved for so long before waddling your way towards your bedroom door. you opened the door with a sigh, throwing yourself into the arms of whoever had been unlucky enough to be standing there.

“woah there. hey my love..” his voice rasped out. just as you had thought. your one and only boyfriend jake. you lifted your head from his chest, looking up at his adorable puppy eyes that were already looking at you. just looking at jake made you notice how long it had been since you had seen him.

so stressed from the work overload, you had cancelled all your plans with him, giving him unreasonable excuses as to why you couldn’t see him. it had him really worried when you cancelled on him earlier today so he decided to come over and see what the problem really was.

“i really missed you. what’s going on?” he asked you, peering into your eyes, a gentle expression caressing his face. you sighed, dropping your head back into his chest wordlessly. he seemed to know what it had meant though. the light sound of plastic rustle could be heard through the quiet stomp sphere when jake moved his hand up, stepping back from you to allow him some space. “here. i brought there for you on my way here.” he said, holding up the nearly full plastic bag in front of him to you, giving it a small take to further encourage you to take it.

you tipped your head to the side sympathetically, pouting. “jake.. you didn’t have to.” you said, not denying that you were in fact grateful for your boyfriends attentiveness and kindness. you took the bag into your hands, leaning up to peck your boyfriends lips because intertwining your other hand with his.

jake took the lead, guiding you both into your bedroom, the dim light from your study table lighting the room. just from that, he knew what he was going to walk into your room being like.

messy bedsheets, clothes all over the floor, papers all over your desk. jakes face only frowned as he looked around your room, taking in the very unusual state. “baby… why wouldn’t you tell me.” you said softly, pulling his eyes away from your room to lay on your smaller figure. “i didn’t want to bother you. i’ve just been so busy i-… i just forgot okay? it’s nothing.” you said, avoiding his eye contact. just the tone in his voice made you feel guilty enough.

he sighed, moving his hands to gently caress the sides of your face while lifting it so you could meet eye contact with him. “ honey.. i’m here for you, you know that. why wouldn’t you just tell me?” he sighed again, placing a kiss on your forehead before stepping away and dropping his arms, looking around the room again. “doesn’t matter now, let’s just get this room cleaned up. i read that a clean room improves mind health. and plants help oxygenate the room. let’s go buy some plants later!” and on and on goes jake, rambling about cute little things that he was going to make sure would help.

he’s pretty competitive so you definitely race to see if your daughter says mom or dad first, like she’s looking between you two so confused while you both are sounding out your respective titles and if she says mom first he jokingly sulks but if she says dad first he then ‘brags’ about it

“no no, ap-pa! say appa!” niki says as friendly as he could, leaning closer to your baby in a silent attempt to try and gain her attention.

you clicking your tongue, nudging him out of the way and trying again. you leaned in, opening your mouth to sound out omma again before your own daughter beat you to it.

you gasped, your eyes widening as a large smile took its place on your cheeks. you scooped your daughter up into your arms with a small squeak, cradling her close to your chest as you turned your head to look at a very pouty niki. “i wanted to be her first word.” niki sulked, leaning in to kiss your daughter gently. he carefully caressed her cheek as if she was bound to break any second.

you giggled, sticking your tongue out at him. he definitely wasn’t going to let go of this anytime soon.

Imagine cuddling in enhypen’s dorms and Sunoo is on top of you nuzzling into your neck, and the other boys come in, see it and start to tease you about it while Sunoo is just giving them the side eye saying ‘at least I have a lover to cuddle with losers’

the door opening echoed through the quiet dorm, breaking the comfortable silence you and sunoo had created between yourselves. he groaned into your neck, lifting his upper body off of yours to whip his head around and look at the door.

“hyung, sunoo is with y/n again.” niki mumbled to one of the other members behind him, pulling groans and snarky comments from the rest of the members. jay peeked his head in, pushing past niki and walking over to the both of you. before jay could even make eye contact with sunoo, he nuzzled back into you, placing his hand over your eyes and whispering a small “ignore him”

“awww, is baby sunoo and y/n cuddling~” he cooed in a baby voice, giggled emitting from the members who had walking in and slightly gathered around to watch what was going on. “sunooooo, you’re so cute~” sunghoon jumped in. you could feel sunoo sigh into your shoulder before he lifted his head and stared blankly at jay who was a few centimetres away from his face.

jay instantly stepped back, earning a small snicker from you. “at least i have somebody to cuddle with. unlike you losers” sunoo claimed, burying his head back into your chest with a soft huff. the boys stood there stunned for a moment before waddling off to their rooms. “ jeez sunoo.” you could hear jake mumble as he walked off as the two of you giggled.
