❥ a/n: this is just a super fluffy comfort of story to help you if your feeling down. once again, english isn’t my first language so i apologise for bad grammar or spelling!! <3( lowercase intended)
the sun coming through the white curtains lightly brushed the boys cheeks as he was still asleep. you and sunoo had a sleepover but by the time you finished doing everything planned, sunoo refused to let you go home alone as there are ‘ too many creeps’ . he slowly shuffled around so he was facing you, his eyes still shut. you let out a quiet chuckle at his hair that he took so much pride in, being all messed up. you slowly slid out the bed you had been sharing with him before reaching out for your phone but hesitating for a moment. you hummed to yourself before picking it up and snapping a few quick photos of him, placing the phone back down on the nightstand. you fixed up the sheets so he was better covered and then walked to the bathroom, freshening up. you blushed your teeth, brushed your hair and looked through the bag you had packed to grab another pair of clothes. you double checked the door was locked, changing into the clothes and making your way downstairs to the kitchen. biting the inside of your cheek, you opened the fridge and decided you would make him something sweet for breakfast this morning. he was always so harsh on himself with what he ate… you grabbed a few strawberries and some yogurt. pouring the yogurt into a bowl, you silently prayed that sunoo wouldn’t wake up. thankfully he didn’t. you cut up the strawberries and mixed them into the yogurt before sprinkling some different types of nuts over the top. using a strawberry you had saved for the top, you placed it ontop of the yogurt and added a little bit of whipped cream around it. “ perfect..” you whispered to yourself, not wanting to wake up his parents. picking up the bowl, you carefully make your way up the stairs after grabbing a spoon. to your surprise, sunoo was sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes. he didn’t notice you walked it in but once he did, he tilted his head and gave you a ‘ what’s all this?’ look. “ i made you something..” you mumbled. sunoo was your best friend, you had to take care of him. handing him the bowl, you sat yourself down next to him on the other side of the bed. “ is this okay?” you asked him as he was just staring down at the yogurt. he nodded, instantly grabbing the spoon and taking a bite. “ wahhh!” he exclaimed, turning his head to look at you as his eyes widened. “ mm, so good!” he said, barely swallowing the but in his mouth before taking another bite... walking into your shared apartment after a tiring day at work, a strong aroma of your favourite food found it’s way to you almost as soon as you opened the door. you hummed to yourself in satisfaction, closing your eyes for a brief moment before stepping inside and slipping off your shoes. as you closed the door behind you, a quick tapping was heard in the kitchen. sunoo had probably just cooked a meal and was finishing up.
you didn’t need to respond of let alone say anything for sunoo to realise how drained out and tired you were. slowly but surely, sunoo stayed swaying the both of you to the music while humming quietly. allowing yourself to move along with him, you rested your hands around his waist and placed your head on his chest . you listened to his heartbeat and closed your eyes, allowing yourself to completely relax into him.
swaying around to the soft beat of the music, you opened your eyes and peeked up at sunoo, a soft smile displayed on his lips. you could call his smile contagious. almost instantly, you lips curled up into a small smile before you sighed and rested your head in the crook of his neck.

one song let to the next and eventually, the sun had started to set, kissing sunoos face with beautiful golden light. you pulled away from his chest as the music stopped, all the songs he had on que finishing. having not shared a word for over an hour of dancing around with eachother, you decided to break the silence first.
“ thank you my love.. i really mean it.” you said softly, your voice cutting through the quiet surrounding. the only noise that could be bear were the very faint chatter of people and the beeping of cars every so often. he simply smiled down at you, resting his lips against your forehead before entangling his arms with your waist.
“ i love you y/n. so much.” he said confidently, causing you to look up at him, spotting a light pink hue casting across his pretty cheeks. “ i love you so much more.” you replied, a small giggle escaping your lips before you stood on your tippy toes and gave his a soft kiss on his nose.
he let go of you softly, smiling at you before slipping his hand into your and tugging you towards the kitchen. the both of you had slowly made your way to the living room while dancing. “ come on honey, let’s get some food into your belly hm?” he says, pulling out a dining chair for you and bringing the food over.
you were so lucky to have him.

sunoo found comfort in your arms.
it was the one thing he looked forward to at the end of the day. coming home to the sweet smell of dinner and your welcoming hugs could turn his day around. he wouldn’t trade this for anything in the world.
maybe it was how warm you always seemed. or maybe it was your sweet smell that invaded his nose. or maybe, it might be the reassuring whispers you spoke to him. sunoo didn’t care what it is, he loved every bit of it. he loved how whenever he felt unwell, you would be there to help him. he loved how you took time and care into everything you did for him.
he simply loved you.

the door opening echoed through the quiet dorm, breaking the comfortable silence you and sunoo had created between yourselves. he groaned into your neck, lifting his upper body off of yours to whip his head around and look at the door.
“hyung, sunoo is with y/n again.” niki mumbled to one of the other members behind him, pulling groans and snarky comments from the rest of the members. jay peeked his head in, pushing past niki and walking over to the both of you. before jay could even make eye contact with sunoo, he nuzzled back into you, placing his hand over your eyes and whispering a small “ignore him”
“awww, is baby sunoo and y/n cuddling~” he cooed in a baby voice, giggled emitting from the members who had walking in and slightly gathered around to watch what was going on. “sunooooo, you’re so cute~” sunghoon jumped in. you could feel sunoo sigh into your shoulder before he lifted his head and stared blankly at jay who was a few centimetres away from his face.
jay instantly stepped back, earning a small snicker from you. “at least i have somebody to cuddle with. unlike you losers” sunoo claimed, burying his head back into your chest with a soft huff. the boys stood there stunned for a moment before waddling off to their rooms. “ jeez sunoo.” you could hear jake mumble as he walked off as the two of you giggled.
