The fact that people still think Harry and Sansa going to marry and rally the Vale army to WF is hilarious. They put so much stake on Harry character that they forget he is giving importance by some Vale lords only because they feel Robin is going to die because of his weak health. What would Sansa going to gain with marrying Harry?

Regarding the pear meta, Sansa was twice to be shown eating pears. One I think during breaking fast with Tyrion in ASOS and other time with LF.

Yes there's a pattern there, in both times that Sansa is served pears, there is a wedding around. A wedding of one of her unworthy suitors.

The first time was during the breakfast at the Queen's Ballroom hours before Joffrey's wedding with Margaery. At that point Sansa was already married with Tyrion:

In the Queen's Ballroom they broke their fast on honeycakes baked with blackberries and nuts, gammon steaks, bacon, fingerfish crisped in breadcrumbs, autumn pears, and a Dornish dish of onions, cheese, and chopped eggs cooked up with fiery peppers. "Nothing like a hearty breakfast to whet one's appetite for the seventy-seven-course feast to follow," Tyrion commented as their plates were filled.

The second time was when she arrived at the Fingers, eight days before Littlefinger's wedding with Lysa Arryn:

Joffrey was Sansa's first betrothed. When their betrothal was broken, Littlefinger asked for Sansa's hand in marriage, but Cersei rejected his proposal because he was too lowborn. Then Tywin Lannister decided to marry Sansa with Tyrion.

Sansa was present during the wedding of two of her unworthy suitors with the women that replace her as their wives.

So, next to fertility and motherhood, marriage is also an important theme in Sansa's arc, that are symbolized with pears.

it's incredible how you can understand and sympathise with a character better when you block most of their fans. me with arya and dany.

If your art requests are still open, will you be willing to draw sansa and bran together. i never see fan content together even when both of are represented by birds (raven and dove)

okay more thoughts on sansa/pear symbolism, because a pear is also an symbol for aphrodite/venus. it got me thinking of aphrodite and her relationship with her husband hephaestus, and how aphrodite eventually falls in love with another man that isn’t her husband. also hephaestus and tyrion both being disfigured and shunned from both of their societies.

Sansa chose a pear instead, and took a small delicate bite. It was very ripe. The juice ran down her chin. That she is known to be in favour of Argos and the Argolid, a land known also for pears, and that people hailing from her region were known to be apian, show a possible strong link between the worship of Hera and apia.
