Posting Old Art

Posting old art
If you end up using it tag me, I'd love to see what others decide to do with it (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
Full version under cut

Some backstory: I used to play Genshin almost religiously but then life started happening, I got busy, and I just stopped playing (I still think it's fun and interesting but I don't play anymore, even if I miss it sometimes)
But I always liked the design of this catalyst for whatever reason and I decided to recreate it as best I could, in the end I never posted it anywhere or did much with it (other than a little faux book that honestly looks decent for a first attempt) But for such an old project I think it looks okay, I think there's a lot I would do differently so it looked even more polished (my eyeballs have gotten better, but the few nitpicks are cause I made it)
Anyway yea, have fun with it ig

I am exceedingly tired of worrying about how I am perceived, I just want to unapologetically create, without worrying about whether or not what I'm doing will bring me some kind of monetary compensation in the future
I am going to suck, and I am going to suck a lot before I get anywhere good. I just want to make stuff the same way little me did when I was 8 with crayons and colored pencils: completely unbothered.
Happy birthday to the greenest green flag on this earth, I love you so much (07/03)

"You don't even have to show it to anyone"
I feel like if more people kept this in mind, they'd be less stressed about making art. It's so easy to fall into the pit making stuff for the sake of showing it off or for approval. It's a surefire way of burning yourself out. Don't forget why you like to create, with any luck it's because while you create, you make yourself happy first and foremost.
"The first person you should think of pleasing, (when creating something), is yourself" -Patricia Highsmith
Please make art. You don't have to bare your soul or make a masterpiece, you can be silly and you can be derivative if you want. You don't even have to show it to anyone. Just please make something, it's so good for you
"You make such pretty maps, you must love mapmaking!"
This is actually excruciatingly painful, but hey, I live to please
