People his age were graduating from college, were getting into a groove of the 9-5 routine, and were starting to plan out the rest of their lives. This meant that for some people his age, hell, some even younger, were starting to settle down and have kids.
Of course, Seungkwan doesn't take his life for granted. If anything, he is extremely blessed to be able to have all these opportunities. It was a rocky start for Seungkwan and his members, his brothers. Yet, they preserved to reach their goal of being a group of 13 dedicated individuals who were singing their hearts out for the crowd.
There was just one part of Seungkwan's life that he was missing - you. You had been such a constant in his life until you guys mutually decided to end things.
Letting you go was one of the hardest thing's Seungkwan had to do in his life. He just felt frustrated that he couldn't be there for you, that in some way, he has been letting you down. All around him, he saw friends around him making huge milestones with their significant others. It made him feel even worse. He felt like he couldn't be the partner you deserved, and that in some way he was holding you back from being the happiest version of yourself.
But since you walked away, he felt even worse. It was like there was a blackhole in his life depleting him of any joy he could potentially feel. Every award won, he wanted to be able to celebrate with you. He wanted to tell you about all the exciting opportunities lining up for him, or all the funny stories of all the members. He just couldn't bring himself to pick up the phone and call you in case you didn't pick up. He would understand, of course, if you never wanted to hear from him again.
Maybe in another lifetime you guys could've made it worse. Or maybe someday, they'll invent time travel so he can travel back to warn the past version of himself not to make the biggest mistake he could ever make.
"Are you sure you don't want to come out with us?" Jeonghan asked. "Yeah, I'm sure. I've been thinking about my bed since we left the company," Seungkwan responded back.
Normally, Jeonghan would have teased Seungkwan and tried convincing him to come out. However, being the one that lives with Seungkwan, he got to see how bad this breakup was affecting him, even more than he wanted to let on to the others. Jeonghan didn't like the idea of leaving Seungkwan home alone when he was this upset, but he also respected his wishes.
"Text if you need anything," he stated. He was very protective of one of his youngest brothers.
Seungkwan flashed a gentle smile before turning to retreat back to his bedroom for the remainder of the night. Yes, he wanted to be in his bed, but he wanted to just be alone with his thoughts. Maybe he could try to come up with a way to get you to take him back? Maybe he could find the courage to text you, just to see how you're doing?
Once in his room, Seungkwan locked the door. He slid off the blue button up sweater he had on. He shivered slightly from the difference in air temperature once he was left only in a white t-shirt. Slowly, he shuffled over towards his dresser. Might as well get comfortable for the rest of the night. He took off his belt followed by his baggy, ripped jeans and replaced the denim with black sweatpants.
He then proceeded to flop on his bed. One hand rested on his chest, the other running through his head. His feet were dangling over the edge of the bed. Staring up at the ceiling, he still thought of you. Were you happy? Were you eating and taking care of yourself? Were you seeing someone else?
The thought of you moving on to someone else pained him. While you were dating, Seungkwan didn't think much of the future. What he enjoyed most of the relationship was living in the moment with you. With an unpredictable lifestyle like his, he never wanted to make promises that could easily be broken. Your care-free personality made it easy to welcome unexpected changes to plans.
Now that you two were a thing of the past, the future was all he could think about. He didn't even get the chance to introduce you to his family back in Jeju yet he knew he wanted everything with you. He wanted to move into an apartment with you, find out what little habits you have and what your routines looked like. He wanted to plan getaways together where you explore a new place. Seungkwan knew eventually he wanted to get down on one knee and ask you to be his forever. Now, that might be far into the future, but he knew you were his end game one way or another.
Why didn't I just talk things out with her? Why did I push her away?
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door which caused him to groan. It was probably Jeonghan trying his luck again to get him to go out. He sat up, his left knee bending to rest on the bed.
"Hyung, I told you no. Leave me alone, ok?"
There was a moment of silence after Seungkwan spoke. Wow, Seungkwan finally found a way to get Jeonghan to admit defeat. There was a first thing for everything.
"Want me to go even if it isn't Jeonghan?"
Seungkwan froze completely. He was about to lay back down in his bed, allow himself to be absorbed back into his thoughts, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. There is no way he can go back to what he was doing if he just heard correctly. There is no way it was you. It couldn't be.
He let out a shaky breath, praying that he heard incorrectly. Maybe it was just his mind playing tricks on him again? There was on time he was performing and he thought it was you in the crowd. He just needed to get more sleep. Not until though he got closure who was standing outside of his door.
Every one and while, his step caused the floor to creak. A sign that there was life in his bedroom and not just an empty. He reached his front door, looking at it for a moment.
You're just imagining things, Seungkwan. It really is just Jeonghan or one of the other guys trying their best to get you to join them.
"Jeonghan, seriously, it's not funny. Just go-" Seungkwan spoke as he opened the door.
It wasn't Jeonghan standing behind the door. It was you. You stood there, almost as if you were unsure why you were standing there yourself. Your gaze was locked on the door in front of you, so the moment the door open, you were staring at each other. "Jeonghan invited me," you said softly. "I really hope that is ok. I didn't know if it was a good idea or not, so I can just go." "I'm not letting you walk out a second time."
You both seemed surprised by the words that left his lips. You couldn't help but smile in satisfaction at his response. While Seungkwan was flipping out in his mind. He knew he meant what he said, but nothing prepared him for this exact moment.
Slowly, Seungkwan opened bedroom door to allow you in. He stepped to the side, so you could step in. Knowing the house was empty, he kept the door open. He didn't want you to feel though you were forced to talk to him. Sure, you still came on your own accord but Seungkwan was very aware you could leave at any moment. Maybe this was all a dream that he would wake up from?
You seemed to float into his room. Almost like you were magical. You were magic in his eyes. He watched as you entered his room and took a spot at the edge of the bed. He began to replay the memories of other times you've entered his bedroom - after date nights, coming home from the airport, sleepovers. He hesitated at first. Should he sit beside you? Should he remain standing?
"Is this too awkward?" You asked. You fiddled with your fingers as you looked at him. "I can just go, Seungkwan. I mean, I thought maybe this could be a good idea? But I'm starting to think it's not." Before he could even speak, he rushed over to join you on the bed. He sat to your left-hand side. His eyes were trained on you, not wanting to make you uncomfortable and feel overcrowded but also wanted to reassure you that this is what he wanted, what he needed. "No, no, angel. I'm still just surprised you're even here. Sorry, I don't want you to think I don't want you here," he confessed. "I do gotta ask. Why are you here?"
Truth be told, you weren't sure where why you showed up. You never thought you would be back here. Of course, you and Seungkwan did not end up on bad terms. Maybe there was a part of you holding onto hope that things would work out. And hearing from Jeonghan that Seungkwan has been struggling was enough to push you to come over.
"I just wanted to know that you are alright," you admitted.
Seungkwan couldn't help but smile at that sentiment. She still cares about me. He never thought this moment would come. Truthfully, he never even thought you two would cross paths again. He figured he blew any chances of getting back together when he called quits. He wouldn't blame you either.
"Honestly? I'm not okay. I haven't been okay since you left," Seungkwan confessed.
No turning back now. To be honest, Seungkwan didn't realize what he had said until it was already out there. He needed to backup his claims, really show that he meant what he said. He had to make sure you knew how genuine he was. "Look," he began. He grabbed your hand gently. He glanced at you to make sure that what he decided to do was okay. When you didn't pull your hand away, he allowed his thumb to caress your knuckles gently. Seungkwan never thought he would get to be this close to you again. God, I've missed her.
"I let you go because I thought it was best for you. I cannot be the man you need because of my life. Sure, I love the days we spend together but I feel like I spend far too many days without you than with you. I want you to live a happy life, angel. You deserve to have someone who can commit a hundred percent, who you can make a life with rather than follow around. Y/n, I want you to have everything you've ever wanted."
Your eyes were wide. You were looking at him. Not saying anything. Seungkwan wasn't expecting you to respond right away. If you did, he knew that you might reject what he said. However, he also wasn't anticipating the silent between the two of you. The tension in the room was so thick, he felt like he was suffocating.
Please, y/n. Say something.
"Seungkwan," you breathed out. "You've got to be kidding me, right?"
He thought he was about to encounter his worst dream. Instead, he was taken back by sudden movement beside him. Your hand slipped out of his only to be replaced by putting your hands on his shoulders. You moved over from beside him to into his lap, straddling his lap.
Once you were situated, you moved one hand from his shoulder to cup his face. Your thumb ran over his cheek as you gazed into his eyes. He looked up at you like you were made out of diamonds. You have been and always will be the most precious person in his life. His hands situated themselves to hold your waist.
"I'm my happiest when I'm with you. I want you to be happy which is why I walked away. Not because you were right," you admitted. "Somehow, you convinced yourself that I needed to have life figured out right now, but Seungkwan, I don't. I want to figure it out with you though, whatever that looks like. I like that our love story is unequally ours." "But I can't give you weekly date nights, I can't give you a wedding right now." "Wait, what makes you think I want to get married right now?" "Baby, I saw the wedding invitation on your countertop a few weeks ago. You have friends reaching those big milestones but I can't give that to you quite yet because I'm not ready."
You frowned slightly at Seungkwa's words. Not in disappointment. You were saddened to hear that Seungkwan had all this built up frustration and self-doubt that led to you two breaking up.
"Oh, honey. I don't care if my other friends are getting married, having kids, or whatever else is expected out of adults. I just want us. I want us to weather each storm together, to grow up together," you affirmed. "I want you back."
That is all he needed to hear. In a swift movement, Seungkwan switched positions so you were lying on his bed. He grinned when you squealed in surprise. Your laughter was music to his ears. Your arms wrapped around his neck. He kept one hand on your side, the other holding him up. "How about I start making up for lost time?"
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea." You couldn't fight the smile that was curling wide in your lips. It was getting to the point your cheeks began to ache. You could care less. You were right where you wanted to be, where you've been craving.
Slowly, Seungkwan began lowering his face towards yours. His lips grazed yours. Goosebumps ran down your spine with excitement. His lips were about to fully press against when you heard someone clear their throat.
It caused you to jump for which Seungkwan popped up. He squeezed your hip reassuringly as he looked over his shoulder. Seungkwan let out a loud groan and had his head press against the pillow beside you once he saw who it was.
Jeonghan.
"I knew you two would get back together! I am a genius."
You couldn't help but laugh. You turned your head to press a kiss into Seungkwan's cheek.
You missed this.

For You, I'd Do Anything - Yang Jeongin

Synopsis: The holidays can be a tough time for anyone. Growing up, it was your favorite time of year. As an adult though, it was what you dreaded the most. Jeongin couldn't stand by to see his partner upset over the holidays, so he decided to take matters into his own hands, to show you that the holidays with him could be fun.
Pairing: Idol! Yang Jeongin x reader
Genre: fluff, established relationship
Word Count: 2.3k
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Growing up, you used to love the winter holidays. You were the type of person that loved decorating for Christmas the day after Halloween. You looked forward to all the Christmas specials and movies that would be broadcasted on TV. Every time you were driving in your car from November 1st until December 26th, you had Christmas music playing. It was just the time of year that wrapped you up with warmth and joy.
Now, being in yours 20s, things have shifted. You no longer looked forward to decorating, always feeling the need to do it out of an obligation rather than a joy. You didn't really care for what was showing on TV, maybe watching one movie for the whole season if there was nothing else on. And don't even get started on the music. You couldn't take listening to the old songs sung by Bing Crosby or Dean Martin.
As friends move away and family spreads out, you find yourself getting lonelier each year. This year was the worst of it all. You couldn't afford a plan home to visit your family, so you had to stick it out at home. Your family wasn't in a position where they could fly out to you either, seeing as both of your parents worked and your siblings were only in college.
Part of you was hoping this year might be a bit different. You and Jeongin had gotten together in February of this year, shortly after your birthday. You were childhood friends with Seungmin who actually set you two up. Since then, you've been joined at the hip.
You were two lonely souls around Valentine’s Day. Seungmin couldn’t stand the sight of his younger brother feeling unwanted. To him, Jeongin was his partner in crime. He deserved the best the world had to offer. He was tired of you complaining about bad first dates and venting to him about your love life. Seungmin thought it would be a pretty good match. It would at least keep you quiet for a little bit while helping Jeongin out.
Jeongin was the perfect guy for you. He was a good listener and someone you felt safe around. You didn’t feel the need to put up a false persona to win him over. He never judged you either for your likes and interests, unlike your other exes. If something made you happy, he was all in support of it.
And Jeongin was in love with you. This was not a two-sided love. You were witty, intelligent, compassionate - a golden person. It loved that you got along well with his members. You were able to have deep insightful conversations with Chris and Han. You could be just as loud as Lee Know and Changbin. You appreciated the arts which made talking to Hyunjin easy. Felix and you often baked together. And then there was you and Seungmin who acted like brother and sister, being able to support one another but then be at each other’s neck the next minute. He was convinced bickering was Seungmin’s love language.
When you were with Jeongin, you knew how to make him smile and let him be silly. You were also there to comfort him if he had a bad day at the recording studio or dance practice. You offered a safe haven where he didn’t have to be the well-rounded maknae. Jeongin had a tendency to put too much pressure on himself to be perfect, to land every dance movement or not. You helped remind him that he was good enough, to push through the bad moments to keep chasing his dream. He wasn't just an idol to you. In your mind, he was like any regular 20-something-year-old who was trying their best. He was able to just be Yang Jeongin.
He wanted to give you the world. You deserved that. You radiated so much positive energy that it affected everyone around you. He owed Seungmin his life for introducing you two.
However, Jeongin noticed a shift in you. He remembers one of the first things Seungmin told, or more so warned, is that you were the type of person who had to start decorating for the holidays right after Halloween. Jeongin still didn't know why Seungmin felt the need to warn him about that fact, as if that was meant to scare him off. If anything, your enthusiasm around the holidays also got him excited for seasons changing.
It was easy to get lost in what's going on when you're following back-to-back schedules. It just felt like the holidays always crept up on him. The only thing that seemed to remind him what time of year it was is when they have a Christmas inspired stage.
Yet, when Jeongin suggested making hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies, you immediately said no. He figured maybe you were too tired from work. Jeongin settled for your answer, at least figuring you’ll watch them later in the season.
When you rejected going to the winter carnival in the city, he was a bit concerned. It was last Saturday when he asked. He figured now was a great time as any to get into the holiday season. You both had the day off from work, so he saw it as not only a way to enjoy each other's company and make new memories but also to relax from work. You preferred to stay inside though.
Jeongin even thought you could try setting up a Christmas tree in the dorms as a way to get you and the members into the holiday season. While he wasn't sure where to get a Christmas tree in South Korea, he knew how much you enjoyed spending time with the members. He always thought you were part of the family that has been created since they were training together at JYP. Yet, you still said no.
The boys were currently at dance practice. While Lee Know stood up from with Hyunjin, Changbin, and Han to work through the choreography for 'MEGAVERSE,' Jeongin was sitting on the couch with his hands holding up his chin.
He was trying his best to think of what could be troubling you, what could be on your mind. He was under the assumption that the two of you shared everything, from material items to personal secrets. To an extent, Jeongin was still trying to get to know you, sure. But he liked to believe as your boyfriend, he could pick up when things were off with you. What weren't you telling him?
Seungmin seemed to notice how distant his young friend was looking. Since it wasn't his time to dance, he made his way across the room to Jeongin. The maknae didn't flinch much once Seungmin plopped himself onto the couch, which was all an effort to snap Jeongin out of his daze. When that didn't work, Seungmin knew he had his work cut out for him. "Okay, spill. What's going on?"
Jeongin sighed before looking at his older friend. "It's y/n."
"What? What are you talking about? You're not going to break up with them, are you?"
Wow, for someone who pokes fun at y/n, Seungmin was very protective of you. It just further emphasized you and Seungmin's relationship - best friends who acted more like siblings.
To calm Seungmin down, he shook his head before looking over at him. "No, not at all. They are my everything," Jeongin sighed. "I just feel like I'm not giving them enough."
Seungmin looked at his friends to continue, confused as well. Whenever Seungmin talked to you about your relationship with Jeongin, you were on cloud nine. You could talk for hours about how wonderful of a partner Jeongin his, your favorite qualities of him. It made Seungmin pleased to see you so happy.
"They have just been acting so distant lately. Like, I feel like I have pushed them away. I don't get it." "I'm glad you said something," Seungmin sighed.
Jeongin immediately picked his head up, looking over at his friend. His eyes were wide, like a deer caught in headlights.
"What do you mean? Do you know something? Did I do something?" "Jeongin, if you did something, y/n will make it known. I mean, I would know first given that I'm the best friend and you're only the boyfriend," Seungmin teased. "But you haven't done anything wrong. I just feel like there is something wrong with y/n. Has she mentioned when’s flying home?”
It was then both of the men realized what was wrong. Usually, you were the type to have your holiday plans situated a month in advance. You also would plan a small holiday party with all your friends before everyone leaves for home. Your family and friends meant the world to you. However, this year, it was radio silent.
Jeongin then got a bright idea. He turned towards Seungmin who playfully backed up, a bit taken back from the eagerness of the maknae but also pleased that your boyfriend was ready to set up and make things right."
"So here's the plan."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Where are we going, Jeongin?" You laughed. He had blindfolded your eyes when you got in the car. He was walking backwards with Han holding open the door for him. Jeongin squeezed both of your hands reassuringly, walking backwards to guide you into a room.
"Now if I told you, it would ruin the surprise." "I hate surprises, but you're lucky you're cute," you muttered.
It took everything in Seungmin and Changbin, especially, to not let out a laugh. They couldn't give away the surprise. Not when they saw how excited Jeongin was to surprise you and make you feel better. Even before you and their beloved maknae started dating, they knew how much you meant to Seungmin. They all looked at you like a little sister. Their love for you has honestly intensified since the love between you and Jeongin grew.
"And I'm lucky because I have you," Jeongin responded.
This time Seungmin wanted to gag.
Jeongin glanced behind him to see all the boys in their places. Each of the boys gave them a thumbs up from their positions in the space, with Lee Know by the lights switch.
When he was satisfied, he slowly stepped behind you. He leaned around to kiss your cheek gently as his hands reached back to undo the knot that held the blindfold close to your eyes. You truly were one that hated surprises. If the blindfold was even the slightest bit loose, you would be trying to peek.
"Look, I know if you hate this, but I just want to see my girl smile again," Jeongin stated.
The blindfold was loosened from around your eyes, revealing that you were in the infamous red-painted JYP dance practice room. . It didn't look like the practice room.
There were Christmas lights strung around the mirrors. The lights were emphasized once Lee Know turned off the practice room's lights. A large projection screen was set up, thanks to Chan's assistance, opposite of the black couches. It was connected to a laptop with every major streaming service available. There were two extra beanbag chairs for those that preferred to sit on the floor. In the corner of the room, there was a large Christmas tree that was decorated. You could tell that was Hyunjin's assigned task. If you turned slightly too, you noticed there was a table full of baked goods that made the whole room smell like cinnamon and sugar. Definitely Felix's doing. You noticed there were 9 cups with candy canes sticking out of it. Maybe they got Changbin to do that one?
Regardless of who was assigned to each task, you knew there was only one person responsible - Jeongin. You turned towards him with tears in your eyes, but not the sad ones. The smile on your face gave away your joy.
"You did all of this for me?" "Anything for you," he affirmed.
You turned fully towards Jeongin before you wrapped you arms around him. You buried your face into his shoulder, both as a place to soak in your tears and your favorite spot to nuzzle up to him. He matched the strength of your hold, holding you close to him. He kissed the top of your hand, hand caressing your back affectionately. The rest of the members watched with fondness at the love between the two of you. Seungmin being the happiest of them all.
"You're apart of our family, y/n. I know it isn't the same as being with your family, but you can always depend on us," Jeongin whispered. "I love you so much."
You pulled your head gently back to look up at Jeongin. He smiled gently seeing your face. Keeping one arm around you, he used his free hand to wipe away your tears. "I'm in love with you too, baby," you whispered. You then looked at the guys surrounding the two of you. You could have sworn that they were crying too, but they wouldn't confess with the lights being dim. "And I love you guys too."
Shortly after, the nine of you gathered on the couches with Seungmin and Lee Know opting for the beanbag chairs. Changbin was getting hot chocolate together for the group while you cuddled up to your boyfriend. Most of them were paying attention to Elf playing on the projector. Jeongin held you close, as if he was trying to squeeze out any remaining sadness that might still be in your body.
But truth be told, you weren't sad anymore. If anything, you were over the moon that not only you have the best partner anyone could ask for, but that he opened his world to you.
To be with your family for Christmas was all you asked for, and it was the best present you could have received.
When Worlds Collide - Song Mingi

Synopsis: Mingi has always been a free-spirited individual. Maybe that is why he liked America so much because of the boundless opportunities that were in front of him. Or maybe he just liked America because that's where you are.
Pairing: idol! Song Mingi x reader
Genre: Fluff, strangers first encounter
Word Count: 1.9k
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Mingi was walking around the streets of New York City aimlessly. He had a pair of glasses on, trying his best to enjoy time off and blend into the crowd. Ateez were performing in the city as part of a concert acknowledging the migration of Koreans to the United States and highlighting the impact of Korean culture.
Each of the boys were choosing to venture on their own for the day, as the concert wasn't until the next day. Mingi has always been fascinated with life here in America. From the fashion, the night life, and the hustle of the American way, he's always wanted to be a part of it in some aspect. That's one of the reasons why he loved getting to perform here in the States. He loved seeing how excited people were, especially atinys, were for a concert.
Today, he just wanted to see what life would be like if he was an American. He was grateful for the opportunities and experiences he got to experience as a k-pop idol when they come to visit, but it wasn't the same. He didn't want to be followed by paparazzi or have bodyguards around him. Mingi didn't want himself to be photographed. He wanted to be the one just soaking it all in, so it all just lived in his memory. He knew if he kept a low enough profile, he would be in the clear and be able to get a real feel for life here.
Wondering the streets, he let his senses guide him. He didn't have to be back at the hotel until 8pm for dinner with his members. They already had dress rehearsals for the show tomorrow, so he really had all the time he could have wanted. His eyes bounced along the store fronts, trying to se which one tempted him the most.
He passed by numerous bakeries, apartment buildings, boutiques, and restaurants. Mingi loved seeing the smiles on people's faces as they lived their ordinary lives. It made him a bit envious, how people didn't have to worry about being spotted and being potentially mobbed at a moment's notice. He wished he could be more aloof, but he was also blessed to have such an extraordinary opportunity of being able to perform on stage.
Mingi glanced to his right but stopped dead in his tracks. He heard the sounds of rock music coming from his right, gaining his full attention. He smiled slightly whenever he saw a record shop. However, his full attention locked on someone inside. You.
You were standing over a display of records, fingers gently pushing back record sleeves to see them all. You were wearing a black peacoat with a grey beanie on top of your head. The beanie didn't hide your curls from his view. He found himself captivated how your eyelashes touched your cheeks as you glanced down. Your cheeks were a light pink color, maybe from the heat coming from inside the store. You also wore a soft smile curled onto your lips. He had to know your name.
As one patron was about to step out, he quickly grabbed the door and held it open. The young woman smiled and thanked him, for which he nodded and smiled back. He glanced in to see you a bit better, at least better from staring in from a window. Mingi felt his stomach flutter as you began moving your way down, a bit closer to him.
Perfect. He stepped into the record shop, getting a nod from the guy behind the counter. Mingi smiled before proceeding to head to the display opposite of you. He didn't want to make it too obvious that he was eyeing you. He looked through the various album covers, recognizing a few of the artists - Frank Ocean, Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly. They were artists he at least has added into his own playlists.
"You know, that's a really good album." The voice was soft, almost angelic. He didn't believe it was real for a second.
He glanced over to see you looking at him. You wore a warm smile your eyes flickered between his own and the album that rested beneath his fingertips. He glanced down to see a pink vinyl cover. What did he land on? He slowly pulled up to investigate. The Divine Feminine. "You like Mac Miller?" You questioned him. "I can't say I have really listened," Mingi confessed. "Well, if you're looking for someone who knows what it means to write good music, I'd start with him." Mingi raised his eyebrow, but a playful smile was curled onto his lips. Oh, I'm intrigued now. "And tell me. What does it mean to write good music?"
You smiled to yourself before looking down at the vinyls in front of you. Your fingers waltzed across the numerous plastic-covered sleeves. You pushed a few back, analyzing the covers. For a minute, Mingi thought he had lost you. He was about to apologize before you spoke up. "To create good music is to tell a story. It isn't about writing a song to make money. It is telling a story either for yourself or for other people to connect to, or to feel less lonely. It helps put words to describe situations that leave us speechless, the good and the bad."
As you spoke, Mingi noticed how your eyes sparkled. He was curious about the inner workings of your mind. You seemed to have the perfect response formulated. He loved seeing how passionate you were speaking about your perspectives. What else did you believe in? What else did you like?
"My name is Mingi," he blurted out.
You smiled at him once again, this time a bit wider. God, you had a gorgeous smile. He took note of the way your smile pushed up your cheeks subtly, making your eyes squint. He wanted to be the cause of that smile moving forward. "Y/n. It's nice to meet you, Mingi."
The way you said his name sounded like music itself. It sounded so heavenly coming from your lips. He wanted you to say his name for hours as you looked at him like he was the only person in existence. "Come on, let's go listen to that vinyl." "Where?"
All you did was smile at him. And from just that smile, he trusted you. Your smile not only mesmerized him but it made him feel comforted. You could tell him to do anything because when you flashed him that smile, he wanted to do everything for you.
You grabbed the vinyl his finger stayed on. All you did was motion your head for him to follow and he was immediately behind you.
Mingi noticed that you moved with intention. You navigated the store as if you built it personally. You led him through the aisles of other vinyls, past other customers trying to make their selections for purchase. The two of you wandered into the back that had a record player set up with two leather loveseats. There was complimentary water on a table in the middle. The room was a bit dark besides a few candles lit to create an ambiance.
"Kind of intimate for people meeting for the first time, don't you think?" Mingi teased. "What? You wouldn't consider this a first date?"
Fuck. She's hot. Mingi was at a lost for words at your confidence. He moved to sit down on the one loveseat, letting you get to work at setting up the vinyl record. Your tongue poked out a little bit from your lips as you focused on getting the vinyl out of the sleeve without dirtying it badly.
Once the vinyl was set appropriately, you smiled to smile with triumph. He loved seeing you in your element. Were you a musician? Did you just like listening to music? Whatever the answer may be, he wanted to know more about you.
"Before I play this vinyl, it's really important you know that this album means the world to me. Mac Miller is one of my favorite artists," she warned. "So if you don't like it, there won't be a second date."
Mingi chuckled lightly as he relaxed against the arm of the loveseat. "I don't think there will be an issue considering I was already interested in it. And I'm already interested in you," he winked.
You silently thanked the shop owner for keeping the back room dim. Nothing like blushing madly due to a stranger. You wanted to be portrayed as cool, mysterious, and confident. You didn't want to allow him to have the upper hand quite yet.
Gently, you moved the needle of the record player to the vinyl. The familiar sounds of the recorder beginning to spin soothed your racing heart. Music has always been a source of comfort for you.
The opening track Congratulations" began to play. You were about to take a seat across from Mingi in the opposing loveseat, but you felt his warm hand grab onto your wrist. There was no way he was going to allow you slip away that easily. He gently pulled you back until you landed beside him. His arm wrapped around your shoulder. Look who's confident now.
His fingers gently ran up and down your arm. His touch was so light that you almost didn't feel it, but it still caused goosebumps to rise on your skin. At least he couldn't detect them underneath your long-sleeved shirt.
"Do you always bring guys back here?" Mingi teased. "No, only cute ones I want to impress."
While the vinyl played, you two made light conversation. You asked the basics - where he was from, his favorite things, what he thought of New York City. He asked where you came from, about your dreams, and a few of your favorite things.
You learned that Mingi was from South Korea and he was visiting New York City on business. He's been in the area a few times, but he's never explored the city. Whereas you moved here after finishing university. You were presented with the opportunity to work for a nonprofit working with youth, so you often used music as a way to communicate both for yourself and with the kids.
Mingi was infatuated with not just your looks, but with your kind nature and energetic spirit. You were the perfect package.
Every now and then, when there was a pause in conversation, you would glance over at him. You were intrigued to know what he thought of the record. It had a bit of a jazz, r&b vibe.
Not only did you think it was beautifully crafted but you thought it fit the mood for the occasion. You two were strangers who met by chance in the busiest city in the world. Some might call it chaotic while others might call it romantic.
He noticed you looking at him. Mingi couldn't help but smirk at the effect he had over you. He kept glancing down as well. He adored the way your head slightly bobbed to the music when you weren't talking.
"My Favorite Part" by Mac Miller feature Ariana Grande began to play. You knew that it was the second to last song on the soundtrack. Fuck. What was going to happen when the song ends?
"How long are you in New York City for?" you asked. "I'm here for about 3 more days. Then I fly back to Seoul for a little bit," Mingi confessed. You didn't know where things would go between the two. That is, if there was anything meant to happen. However, if you didn't try, you knew that you would regret it for the rest of your life. He might be a one-time thing, but you craved to know more of him, to be around him, and maybe even just be with him.
"I'll make all the time for you, angel." ______________________________________________________________ Note: SO not sure how I feel about this lol this has been sitting in my drafts for the past month so I figured it was time to set it free! Maybe do a Part 2?? 👀

You are always eagerly listening to the new tracks and watching the dance practices for upcoming performances. Even after long days, you were there to welcome him with open arms. What happens when his whole universe is left feeling like the world is against them?
Pairing: Idol! Park Seonghwa x reader
Genre: Angst, fluff, established relationship
Word Count: 2k
Warning: does describe anxiety and a bit of depression. If you ever do need a place to vent, always feel free to send a message. You're never alone 🩷
You couldn’t shake how you were feeling. From the moment you woke up, you felt like clouds were hanging over your head. You tried your best to shake off the feeling by actually getting out of bed and getting in the shower.
Growing up, you used to be more shy about expressing your emotions. People used to comment how much they loved your smile when you were younger. It even got you the title of “the kid who always smiles.” You had a genuinely happy childhood, but the title and comments from people taught you that negative emotions such as sadness or anger should never be expressed.
Those bad days became intense because you got into the bad habit of allowing emotions build inside of you to the point you would burst. Those intense moments would cause you to cry until your chest hurts, not knowing why exactly you were upset because they were a cultivation of numerous events that occurred - some fairly recent to things that happened weeks ago. You would describe your younger self as a volcano waiting to erupt. You gave off the illusion that you were calm, put together. That was until the emotions bubbled up and overflowed. The severity of the eruption dependent on what triggered it.
It is part of the reason why you started therapy at a young age. Realizing you were struggling, your mom took it upon herself to get you set up with a therapist so you could begin to learn how to regulate your emotions. You’re thankful your mom was that proactive.
Of course, the way you handled your emotions at 15 is not the same being in your 20s. Going to college was a time that tested your development, your way of being but also helped you grow. You discovered more ways to help you calm down, how to communicate more efficiently when you were frustrated or upset, and learned to accept the bad days as life lessons. Truth be told, you felt more in control once you were living independent and finding who you really were meant to be.
Since getting with Seonghwa, you could say you’ve had more good days than bad. He was the person who offered a safe refuge to feel out and express your emotions. One of your favorite ways to unwind was to just watching Seonghwa build his lego sets. He just looked so at peace as his focused on which pieces go where. It made you feel content seeing him so relaxed which ultimately helped you, knowing that he was taking care of himself.
It was hard for Seonghwa to show his true colours sometimes. Being the oldest member, he felt the pressure to put on a brave face, strong aura especially for his younger members. Like you, he thrived on being the person people could depend on. With you though, he didn’t have to pretend everything was ok. He could cry, vent, scream if he needed to. You guys balanced each other out, or at least that’s what he thought.
He didn’t know over the past few months, you’ve begun to harbor your emotions again. You were so focused on providing for Seonghwa, attending to your job and other responsibilities that you were beginning to slip again. Yet, you didn’t want to show any signs of it. You were positive that you were strong enough to weather any storm.
Lately, life felt like you were trapped in a hurricane. Your job was severely understaffed, which meant your workload doubled than what it was supposed to be. It didn’t help that you didn’t get much joy out of your job either. You worked longer hours, and over time, you’ve had to give up going to the gym. You sometimes weren’t coming home until 7 or 8pm, completely drained from having to be at work at 7am. Your boss promised it was temporary, that they were actively searching for new employees, but it’s been months at this rate.
It didn’t help that Seonghwa hasn’t been home often. His attention was needed at the studio most days. ATEEZ were preparing for their new comeback, and you were so proud of all of them. You just hated being separated from your partner for so long, especially when nothing in life was going your way. Seonghwa always did a good job at reminding you what was going right when you were having difficulty seeing it for yourself. And right now, everything seemed so bleak.
After work, you found yourself just sitting on the couch. Your jacket was hung up but purse was left by the side of the couch. Despite how little energy you felt like you had, you somehow were able to make your way to the living room. You were stationary, leaning against the back of the couch but doing not much else. You were staring at her TV, staring at the reflection of yourself on the black screen. Your mind was racing with ideas as you were trying to steady your heart. Anxiety and depression can be nasty monsters, and when they are both working in unison, they felt like an unstoppable duo.
You didn’t even register the sound of the front door opening and closing. The thoughts that were occurring in your head were deafening, the only thing you can focus on. You closed your eyes to get to pick through and silence the loud voices in your head.
Am I doing enough at my job? Is my job even worth it? I’m supposed to love what I do but why do I hate myself so much for doing it? When will I be done?
“Baby? Come back to me, angel. Please.”
A gentle, warm touch started to bring you back to reality. It caused you to jump because it was a sudden touch but you completely relaxed staring into the eyes of your lover in front of you.
Seonghwa was crouching in front of you. One hand was on your knee, the other gently cradling your face after brushing a few strands of hair being your ear. His eyes bouncing all over your face to try to piece together what might be troubling you.
You noticed the concerned expression on his face which caused you to frown. You hated letting him down. You were meant to be his source of strength, but here you were doing the complete opposite.
"I'm sorry, Hwa. I didn't even hear you come in. Have you eaten? I didn't get started on cooking but I can do that now," you offered. Your voice was a bit weaker than you wanted it to be.
Your boyfriend just stared at you. His lips pulled into a small frown. You wanted to just sink into the couch at this point. It felt like you were digging a hole and it was only getting deeper.
"Y/n, there its something wrong. You need to tell me what's going on in that pretty mind of yours, so I can help you." "Why?" He looked stunned at your response. He leaned back quite a bit, which made you pray the floor gave out at this point and took you and the couch with it. At that moment, you wanted to take back every word you said to cause such an alarm. His eyes traveled your body. Not in a suggestive way, but you could see the gears in his head were starting to turn. What was he looking for?
"How long?" "What?" "How long have you been feeling this way without letting me in?"
You hung your head low, almost in shame. You weren't shocked that Seonghwa cracked your code, but you thought you could put this little act on longer. Until work settled down, until your mind settled down, and until your mind felt better. Then you were planning on unleashing your realm to him, so he didn't have to save you from it. You didn't want to drag him down when your own personal demons were trying to do that.
"Oh, my love. Come here," he whispered. He then stood up to sit on the couch, cradling his arms around you and pulling you into his lap. With your body turned sideways, your leg were sprawled out across his lap and onto the couch. He rested on hand gently on your knee, letting his thumb run over it. His other hand supported your back, allowing you to rest comfortably.
"If I could take some of your sadness away from you, I would do it in a heartbeat," he whispered. He leaned forward to press a lingering kiss to the top of your head. "But for now, I think we need to get you in the bath or shower because you're practically cold to the touch."
You nodded your head, gazing up at him. For the first time in the past few days, you felt like you let yourself give a genuine smile. It was a start for Seonghwa. With ease, Seonghwa lifted you up bridal style and carried you up the stairs to your shared bathroom.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You felt your back fully relax against the porcelain white tub. Your body was surrounded by bubbles that were scented like rose water. The water was also a nice warm temperature, almost as if you were being wrapped in a blanket.
Seonghwa sat right beside the tub, facing you. He had the sleeves of his shirt rolled up to his elbows, occasionally running his fingertips along the water or across your leg underneath. You were grateful for a gentle lover like Seonghwa. He maintained a soft gaze on you, ready to jump and get you whatever you desired.
You reached one hand to run through his soft black hair. You pushed it back slightly to expose his face more, causing you to smile. You always felt the need to pinch yourself that you landed someone as handsome as Seonghwa. But he also felt the same. He was the happiest man with you, he was in love with you.
"One of the things I've always adored about you, darling, is how generous you are to other people," Seonghwa began. Your hand moved gently from his hair to his cheek. His voice was gently, leaning slightly into your touch. You found yourself smiling lightly at the compliment, about to open your mouth and give one back but he cut you off.
"But I wished you let me give back. I wish you would allow me to help replenish your heart, replenish your being, or even give you extra love when you clearly need it the most."
You sighed, nodding in acknowledgment. "I know. I've been doing pretty well, believe me. I think with how hectic things have been lately, I just found myself slipping into old habits. I didn't want to burden you with my own problems." "But that's the thing, my love. It is never a burden. I am your partner, I am here to help you through the hard times like you help me."
Seonghwa took your hand gently from his face. He cradled your smaller hand in both of his. You watched him intently, intrigued by what he might have up his sleeve. His lips pressed gently to your knuckles before resting his chin against the edge of the tub.
"It's you and me in this universe, babe. You take care of me, but I want to be able to take care of you. You just have to let me in, especially when it gets tough."
It was then you spilled your heart, or more so your mind and its never-ending thoughts, out to Seonghwa. You told him about work, about your progress in your mental health journey, and why it is difficult for you to open up. You explained your rationale for why you kept things suppressed, despite being ashamed of yourself for your poor judgement.
Yet, Seonghwa listened intently. He was quick to remind you everything you've been forgetting.
"I knew my y/n was strong. I understand where you're coming from. You can handle most things on your own and it truly is admirable. However, I'm always going to be here to pick up the extra weight. I'm here to support you," he reaffirmed.
For the first time in your life, you're experiencing a love so genuine and authentic. Seonghwa was everything you could've asked for and so much more. You truly won the jackpot. You felt nurtured, like a flower being watered and placed in direct sunlight for the best outcomes. Seonghwa truly was your source of light, energy, and love.
"I love you so much," you whispered. "And I love you today, tomorrow, and forever," he whispered back.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
It was a late Sunday afternoon. The world outside the apartment seemed still, which contrasted with the bustling streets of city streets below. Yet, you were taking every chance to enjoy the peace and quiet, especially before Wooyoung woke up.
Last night, the member decided to treat Wooyoung for his birthday. They threw a small party at the company building before taking him for a round of drinks. Wooyoung, of course, made sure you came. Not only because it was his birthday celebration, but because he would not have a good time if you weren't there right beside him.
You tried your best to keep up with Mingi and Yeosang when it came drinking. You didn't stand a chance with Wooyoung, considering people were giving him drinks left and right. And Jongho is on a whole other level when it comes to drinking. His tolerance both impressed and scared everyone. Mingi and Yunho at least knew how to keep pace but not overdo it, which you were grateful for.
Throughout the whole night, while Wooyoung was making sure to spend ample time with everyone in attendance, he kept his eyes on you. You were his girl. He wanted to make sure you were enjoying yourself. He was grateful that you were close to his members, as he knew they could keep an eye on you. However, he still felt very protective of you especially in a large setting like the nightclub.
Once he had enough of the distance, he pushed himself through the crowd to where you, Mingi, and Yunho were. Sensing the birthday boy's presence, they stepped back. Wooyoung quickly took their spot, making sure to wrap one arm around you to pull you in close.
"You know, it's rude to ignore someone on their birthday," he pouted. "Oh, baby boy, I'm sorry. I figured you would get me all to yourself tonight," you smirked.
You lifted one hand to run through Wooyoung's hair, brushing it out of his face. You could have sworn he let out a soft moan at the feeling of your fingers running through his hair. It was one of his weaknesses.
But he easily knew yours. Being so close, he took the opportunity to lean his lips down to your neck. He kissed up gently until his lips found the soft spot on your neck, the point that made you slightly limp in his embrace and press your body against his. He sucked on the spot gently. Wooyoung didn't care who, if anyone, was watching you two. if anything, it helped enforce that you were his girl. All his. And Wooyoung didn't like to share his prizes.
"Mmm you're right, sweetheart. Why don't we head home and get the night started early?"
By the time you and Wooyoung had gotten home, your panties were off and tucked into his pants. His fingertips had your wetness from your pussy coated on his fingers. That was the extent that Wooyoung could bring you before getting you behind closed doors. He would have taken you right then and there, but he was a gentleman after all. He didn't like the idea of the Uber driver getting even a glimpse of what belonged to him. Light teasing in the car was the limit, and that was even pushing it. Thank goodness for the darkness of the evening and being slightly under the influence where he could disregard some of his morals in order to give into his temptations.
You were his biggest temptation of them all.
Flash forward to the present moment. You wearing an oversized, light brown sweater that belonged to Wooyoung. It was the easiest thing you could find to slip on once you woke up. You couldn't help but wonder if you and Wooyoung would move into your own space one day. Or if you would move into his. However, you probably wouldn't give up stealing his clothes even then.
When you had gotten up, Wooyoung was still asleep. He looked so peaceful asleep. His chest rose and fell with each breath he took. You weren't unaware of how atinys and his members view Wooyoung. He was a ball of energy. You just felt blessed to get to experience both sides of him - the calm and collected to the wild child.
You slipped out of the bed, despite its warmth, to make breakfast for Wooyoung. The next week was going to be hectic with ATEEZ's comeback just around the corner. You wanted to do something special for Wooyoung before all his attention and time is in the dance studio or out on promotions. You decided a breakfast in bed was going to be best fit for him.
Wooyoung was awoken by your movement. However, he opted to continue laying in bed rather than waking up right away. She'll be back. Or at least that's what he believed.
After a few minutes of no movement in or around his bedroom, he decided to open his eyes. He blinked a couple of times, adjusting to the brightness of the room. He saw the place where you lied. A smirk found its way onto his lips as he remembered the events of the night before. He loved the way you could only moan for him, only arch your back for him. It was his favorite sight. The only thing wrong with the current moment was the fact you were nowhere to be found.
He huffed in frustration before pushing himself out of bed. He grabbed a pair of grey sweatpants that were disregarded on his bedroom floor. He was thankful he found a partner like you who accepted him and his hectic schedule. For example, he was embarrassed slightly by the clothes thrown around the room after dance practices because he was eager to just crawl back into bed. You didn't hold it against him in the slightest.
It might've been his birthday, but he was going to treat you like the treasure you are to him.
A commotion was heard coming from the kitchen. The sound of pots and pans being moved around. The fridge opens and closes. He had located where you wandered off to. He pulled the sweatpants up to his hips, not bothering to tie them off completely. They'll come off in a matter of time anyway.
He began his descent down to the kitchen. Wooyoung tried being as quiet as possible. While he wasn't quite sure what you were up to, he thought it might be a joy to give you a spook.
However, his plans came to a pause when he walked to the kitchen and caught a glimpse of you. You were bent over, looking at the lower cabinet for the prefect pan. His sweater that you wore did little to keep you covered. He felt himself twitch in his sweatpants at the sight of your bare ass. There was a slight bruise from Wooyoung's spanking. What really got Wooyoung going was when he noticed you wore no panties. She's going to be the death of me.
When you stood up, the sweater stopped just right at your ass. If you moved the right way, you got a glimpse of your ass still. The sweater hung loose on your body. Easy to take off. Perfect. Your hair was still slightly a mess. It was evident though you tried your best to brush through it so it was not as knotted and messy. Wooyoung also took note of the hickies that decorated your neck. Some were a very deep purple while others were a reddish purple. They all symbolized his possession over you. He was determined to be the only man in your life. You were a work of art to him.
Wooyoung noticed you had pulled out eggs. He wasn't sure what you would cook up for him, but he had a hunger for something else. And he needed to act quickly. You weren't a fan of being interrupted when you were about to start a task.
Slowly, he crossed the kitchen towards you. Before you could open the carton of eggs, his arms slipped around you. He heard you gasp softly which caused him to chuckle. He didn't even have to come up with a ploy to spook you when you jumped so easily. Wooyoung pulled you in close, but so that your ass pressed against his boner. "Good morning, princess," he murmured. His lips first pressed innocently to your cheek before starting to kiss back down your neck.
You smiled, biting your lip gently. "Good morning, birthday boy," you whispered. You rolled your hips back gently, pressing your ass further into his boner.
He growled in response. He kept one arm wrapped around you while the other gently moved down to rest on your hip. He gave it a squeeze before letting his hand rest on your thigh. He applied slight pressure to keep you held back against his boner.
"You really want to tease me on my birthday? You think that's a wise idea?" He whispered into your sink. His teeth sunk gently into one of hickies, causing you to gasp again. "Didn't even start with this morning. It started with last night. Isn't that right, y/n?" His fingertips ghosted over your bare thighs. You wanted so desperately to squeeze your legs together, give some friction to your needy pussy, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it. This was Wooyoung'd day, and he was going to play the way he wanted to. His fingertips gently brushed where the hem of the sweater fell. He kept his lips close to the shell of my ear, constantly causing my goosebumps to rise. "It started last night when you wore that little black dress you wore last night. I just wanted to rip it off of you so badly." You knew exactly what that dress did to him. You wore it once before on a date night a few months back. It was a mini black dress that fit you like a glove. Truly, you felt on top of the world the moment you slipped it on. It had sheer sleeves that stopped at your wrist which defined your arms. "You looked like a present just for me but you decided to show it off to everyone else. That outfit is for my eyes only," he growled.
"I love how you dress up for me, darling, but I also love how you dress down. You always know how to capture my attention.": He was showing his soft side. This was unlike Wooyoung. We've explored softer sex at the beginning of our relationship. The more we got comfortable with one another, the more rougher side began to show itself. Especially when I begged him to be rougher, promising that he wouldn't break me.
His touch moved up underneath your sweater until he rested on your stomach. His fingertips ran along your skin, tracing little patterns. He was so infatuated with just the touch of you. Your soft skin felt comforting to him, especially on the most stressful of days. You often found him creating little designs on your thighs, your back, your arm - anywhere he could touch. You helped ground him when he felt like he was going to break. You were his safe space. "And now I come down here to see you wearing my favorite sweater? The one that can barely cover your body? You're such a little tease." "What are you going to do about it, baby?" Wooyoung was unfazed by you trying to taunt him. Honestly, it was welcomed by him. He loved a challenge.
He spun you around until you faced him. With ease, he bent down to lift you up so your legs wrapped around his torso. He placed his hands underneath your ass before walking towards the kitchen table. On his walk over, he smacked your ass which cause you to jump and let out a soft moan. A lump formed in your throat as you looked down at him. Maybe you took it too far? Yet, you could see the playful glint in his eyes which indicated he was enjoying this.
Once he reached the kitchen table, he placed you on the wooden surface. You hissed gently from the contact with the cold surface, especially against your heated ass cheek. From last night to just a moment ago, your ass was paying the price.
"You know, sweet girl, your behavior right now means I need to punish you. But, it's my birthday and I'm feeling rather generous. What were you doing down here so early that you left me up in bed all by myself?" "I was going to make you breakfast in bed, then lay around with you for the rest of the day." "Well, I am hungry, but there is just one thing that is on my mind right now."
Without saying anything else, he moved his hands up to your hips. His fingertips gently dug into your skin before he moved your body, so your ass was right on the edge. Your heart trembled with excitement as you stared at him in awe.
Wooyoung sunk down to his knees in front of you. He placed both hands down on your knees, pushing them apart. The sweater naturally rose above your hips from the movement. His thumbs gently caressed the skin of your knees. He wanted you to know he still cared for you even if he tended to be rougher. He pushed your legs enough so your pussy was fully exposed to him. You could have sworn he groaned at the sight.
"You were expecting this, huh? You're dripping. Last night wasn't enough for you? Such a dirty, slutty girl. And all mine."
From the cool air in the dining room, you couldn't deny it. Getting to wake up next to Wooyoung was such a treat. You got to be the one in his arms throughout the night and wake up to his gorgeous face the next morning. It also benefitted the fact you could have him all to yourself whenever you want. He was yours. How could you not lust over him? Especially when the memories of the night before replay in your mind.
He moved your legs so he rested on his shoulders. He wanted nothing to get in the way of him enjoying his favorite meal of the day. His tongue darted out. Slowly, he leaned forward to trace light circles around your clit. You moaned but also whined at the teasing.
His eyes immediately shot up towards you in a hard glare. You were walking a tight rope with him. His teeth gently nipped at your clit which caused your head to throw back. Your grip on the edge of the table tightened as your legs did so around his head. Wooyoung loved the feeling of being suffocated by your legs.
You loosened your legs slightly and he popped his head up. "Darling, you're lucky I am still a bit tired or your ass would be regretting that. Now, be a good girl so I can enjoy what you prepared for me," he smirked. He sunk his teeth into your thigh. You couldn't fit the moan that slipped past your lips. You loved when Wooyoung marked you.
He dipped his head back into your pussy. This time though, he didn't hold back. His tongue pressed flat against your pussy. He groaned at the taste of you which resulted in your moaning for him from the sensation and the vibrations against your pussy. Who needed a sex toy when you have such a vocal boyfriend. He began moving his tongue up and down your entrance, collecting the juices on your lips.
Wooyoung thrives off of the noises you make for him. Each time you guys got intimate, he tried to see if he could get you to be louder than the previous time. It was all in the way that you moaned for him and because of him. His actions were a direct result of the pleasure you were feeling.
After running his tongue up and down a couple of times, he plunged his tongue deep into your pussy. His tongue created random patterns you couldn't even make out. Your mind felt so fuzzy like you were spinning. You leaned back on the table with your legs resting still on Wooyoung's shoulder. One hand moved to grasp onto his hair. Your body screamed and ached for him. Loud moans were being released from you as you felt a familiar burning sensation in your stomach.
He smirked. You could feel the smile of the devil against your pussy. He pulled back slightly but kept his lips hovering over your pussy lips, so you could still feel him close. "Is my slut going to cum? You know how to ask."
"Please, please, baby. Let me cum. I want to be your good girl and cum for you." "Hmm, I can't tell if you really want to." "Wooyoung!"
At this point, tears were starting to gather in the corner of your eyes from the build-up and frustration of him. While you loved him with all your heart, he was such a fucking tease. He knew all the ways to make you tick because he found it adorable how flustered you get. He could edge you for hours if he desired.
"I guess I could let you cum now. But if you cum now you won't cum later today." "I don't care! Please!"
He shrugged. "If that's your choice, my dear. Who am I to deny you?" You didn't care if you just made a deal with the devil. You just wanted relief now and you were growing impatient. I'm sure I can get him to back down out of it later.
Wooyoung went back down to your pussy. This time though, his lips wrapped around your clit and he began sucking as if his life depended on it. Your back arched at the intensity of the feeling, the feeling you love so much.
He took one of his hands off of your knee. You didn't feel it for a while until you felt two fingers slide into your entrance. You moaned loudly. In response, Wooyoung started curling and twisting his fingers. He wasn't working to stretch you open. Not yet at least. Right now, he was on a mission to get you to release as quickly as possible. You could feel the way your core was ablaze. Your walls clenching around Wooyoung's fingers as they moved rapidly.
"Come on, angel. Let go for me."
You didn't need to be asked twice. Once Wooyoung's fingers brushed against your g-spot, you let go. You felt like all the air was released from your lungs as you screamed his name. Your vision was white and you felt light as a feather, especially as you floated down from your high.
You didn't even register being lifted off the table. Not until you met the face of your beloved up close and personal. "What a way to kick off my birthday," he snickered. You smiled gently. His chin glistened a bit still, evidence of your orgasm. You leaned up to kiss his jawline before nestling into his shoulder. He smiled to himself, carrying you bridal style this time up the stairs towards your bedroom.
"I hope you're not getting sleepy on me now, princess. We have a long afternoon ahead of us." "Woo, what are you talking about?" "Do you not remember what you said just a little bit ago? That you would rather cum now and not later?"
You slowly peeked your head out from his shoulder. You hoped that maybe he had let that slip from his memory. Your eyes were wide while he wore a wide grin. Oh boy.
"Oh darling, it's my birthday. I'll celebrate how I want, and I think hearing you beg for mercy and to cum seems like the perfect birthday."

There are parts of every person they wished they could forget, erase from their history. You weren’t an exception to that, nobody is. You found comfort when it comes to exploring your past when you look at your present and future.
Specifically, when you look to the person across from you. Vernon. You and Vernon have been dating for two years, been through highs and lows together. He was someone that filled your world with hope and light, even if he couldn’t see the impact of his presence in your life. He couldn’t comprehend how being with him made such a difference. If anything, he knew that without you, his world would be dark. He just couldn’t understand how he could have a similar impact.
Yet, knowing your own history, you knew it was true. You had never been with a guy as a gentle soul. He took pleasure in the simple things in life. He still finds an excuse to spoil you now and then, though. Vernon was your breath of fresh air after all the storms you've weathered.
Tonight, you were celebrating a huge milestone - your one-year anniversary. Not only was this important for you and Vernon, but it was huge to you. You never thought you would get to experience a love like the one you two have. In your previous relationships, you either never reached the one-year mark or were with a partner that never thought of it as a big deal worth celebrating.
Vernon had to celebrate. Not just because it was something you wanted to do, but because he wanted to. You were a blessing in his life. He didn't want you to be unaware of that fact. If he could, he would scream his love for you on the highest mountain top.
"You look absolutely breathtaking, y/n," he commented. "You do every day!" He quickly added. "But tonight, you look radiant."
You couldn't help but giggle at his words. Seeing the slight panic and hearing the rush of words was one of the qualities you adored about Vernon. He never wanted to have his words be misinterpreted, so he was quick to clarify anything he said that might come across differently. He was hyperaware when it came to other people's emotions which was a quality you were quite used to in your other partners.
Your left hand reached across the table to rest on top of his. Your fingers gently caress over his knuckles. "Thank you, baby. You look handsome as ever," you gushed softly.
He looked down at his outfit for the evening, making his signature raised eyebrow expression. He was wearing a simple black tee shirt with a silver chain and matching black jeans. His leather jacket hung over the back of the seat you were sitting in, so if you got cold, you could easily slip it on.
In Vernon's eyes, he was nothing compared to you. You were wearing a dark blue mini-dress with flowy sleeves that were cuffed at the wrist. Vernon never expected you to get dressed up for him, but he always appreciated the effort. If anything, tonight he felt underdressed for you. But seeing the way you were looking at him, like he was your whole universe, put him at ease. All Vernon wanted was to make you proud of him.
The waiter came over and introduced himself. You kept a warm smile, trying to be polite. You knew the realities of working in the service industry, so you tried to extend extra patience and understanding when you could. That's just one of the qualities Vernon adored about you. He was convinced your heart was made out of gold.
"Good evening, Mr. Chwe, I have the wine you selected for the evening if you two are ready?"
You looked over at Vernon, an eyebrow raised. He only winked at you before nodding to the waiter. It was then revealed your favorite red wine, a semi-sweet Lambrusco you two enjoyed on your first date. You couldn't believe he remembered.
The waiter poured the two glasses for you as you kept your eyes on your lover. He really was full of surprises. "I will give you two a moment before coming back for your dinner choices," the waiter announced. Vernon only slightly nodded to acknowledge he heard something from him which caused you to giggle. It was like your first date all over again - unable to take your eyes off the other person, curious about the other person.
Vernon cleared his throat and fixed his posture. "To us," he announced, raising his glass slightly. "To us," you whispered.
"So what's the occasion?"
Your whole body ran cold. Vernon picked up on how your body got rigid just by watching you. He felt his senses become more alert as he set his glass down. You followed suit before looking over your shoulder, hoping not to confirm your biggest concert.
Yet, to your disappointment, there he was. Your ex. He was sitting in the table beside you. You must not have noticed that he had gotten sat there due to the waiter in the way. This was your first time that you saw your ex since you two broke up. And what a messy break-up it was.
"What's wrong, y/n? You don't look happy to see me?" He said with a sickening sweet smile. "And who do you think you are?" Vernon asked. "Oh, you haven't been told about me? Y/n, how rude."
You felt your blood begin to boil and your stomach churn. You looked over at Vernon who looked like he was fuming. But it wasn't at you. His gaze was locked in on your ex sitting beside you at the opposite table. "Baby, this is my ex." "Woah, I'm just an ex? And this is your boyfriend? Bro, I'm sorry," your ex laughed.
It was then your eyes started to get glossy. Your gaze turned to be locked on the table in front of you. That was one of the reasons you decided to call quits with your ex in the first place. He had an awful tendency to humiliate people through humor. He never stopped to think that his words could be more deadly than a knife.
"And I'm sorry you lost the greatest woman alive, but hey, that means I won, right?"
Your eyes widened slightly at Vernon but your smile grew. He looked at you and felt satisfied seeing you a bit better. Vernon was determined not to let this asshole ruin your evening. He squeezed your hand three times before directing his full attention to you. That seemed to get your ex to back off a bit before turning towards his own company for the evening.
You knew you might have some explaining to do later to Vernon, to give more context. At the moment, that was the last thing you wanted to do. Your ex worked in sick ways, finding ways to lie and manipulate anything said. Your priority was celebrating your anniversary with the most amazing man alive.
"So are we celebrating anything important tonight?" The waiter asked upon approaching your table.
Vernon smiled brightly as he kept his eye contact with you. You blushed slightly under his gaze which caused him to chuckle. "We're celebrating our one year anniversary," he proudly announced.
Unlike your ex, Vernon never failed to make sure everyone knew his pride in being yours. You didn't like to compare the two as Vernon always went above and beyond. Tonight, you couldn't help but do so with your ex being in too close of a proximity. If anything though, it made you even more appreciative for Vernon.
He went ahead and placed your dinner orders for the two of you. The whole time, you kept your gaze on your lover. You could tell that he had gotten a haircut for the evening which made you smile a bit more. You couldn't believe that you finally found someone that truly put effort into the relationship. It blew you away the Vernon did little things like buy milk when he used the last of it, or when he would send you $7 through Venmo so you could buy a coffee and a muffin. He treated you like a princess.
The waiter nodded as he quickly jotted down your order. Sensing that you two wanted to focus each other, he wanted to get out of the way as soon as possible. He collected the menus as Vernon said a quick thank you.
You went to take another sip of your red wine when you heard that nauseating voice from beside you.
"One year anniversary? You were able to keep her entertained for that long? You sure she isn't sleeping with someone else behind your back?" Your ex inquired.
You nearly spit the red wine out of your mouth. He can't be serious. This was your worst nightmare. You looked at Vernon who was glancing between the two of you. You prayed that Vernon could see through the lies. Your ex has been notorious in spreading rumors that caused others to leave you, them choosing to believe a stranger over you.
"I don't know who the fuck you think you are right now, but you're crossing a line," Vernon said, his voice lower than usual.
"Look, bro. I'm just trying to give you a heads up. Wouldn't want you to waste your time on a slut like her."
That crossed the line for Vernon. Nobody should speak that poorly on another person. Especially when it came to you, nobody should disrespect you like that. You quickly rose from his seat across from you, making his way between the two tables so he was standing in front of your ex and blocking you.
"Mind repeating what you said?" "Like I said, I know how amazing her pus-"
Vernon didn't even let your ex finish that sentence. The next thing you knew, Vernon's fist collided with the face of your ex. You and your ex's date for the evening let out a gasp. She got up quickly, running to get the host of the restaurant while you sat there in shock.
"What the fuck?" Your ex shouted.
Soon, all the patrons in the restaurant were looking towards your direction. Your eyes were locked on Vernon. Everyone watched as Vernon picked up the white collar your ex was wearing, causing him to stand up from the table. In the process, your ex bumped into the table causing silverware and the glasses of water to fall onto the table.
"I'm so glad my girl decided to dump your loser ass. That's how you speak to women? What a sad excuse of a man," Vernon spat.
He dropped your ex back in his seat. Vernon stepped out of the way to get behind you. You glanced back, seeing him motion for you to stand up. "Come on, darling, we're leaving." With the look he was giving you, you knew there was no room to protest. You stood up as Vernon moved your chair back, making it easier to move. That was when you got the first glance of the black eye your ex would have. For now, it was already becoming red and purple from the hard punch.
"Don't look, baby. I know it's hard, but let's just focus on getting out of here," Vernon murmured from behind you. You nodded your head which caused him to press a kiss to your head, thankful for your compliance and your trust in him. He lifted his leather jacket off the back of the chair before holding it out so you could quickly slip your arms inside. He also grabbed your purse, deciding to carry it for you or maybe just because it would get the two of you out of there sooner.
Your ex's date came running back with the host and a few waiters who assumedly were there to try to breakup whatever fight. They all paused when they saw your ex holding his nose while you and Vernon were getting ready to head out.
Vernon grabbed a hold of your hand, slipping his finger in between yours. He squeezed your hand through the tight grip he had. It wasn't bone crushing, but it was enough to enforce he was taking the lead. He began leading you two out of the establishment.
Before you crossed into the main lobby, he turned toward your ex's date. "Unlike your ex, I want to apologize. I am sorry if my actions have ruined your evening. I'm not sorry for what I did though," he said. His voice was oddly calm despite the events that just unfolded.
He apologized also to the employees of the restaurant before he rushed you two of there. You leaned in close to him, just hoping that your ex would get the idea not to come chasing after the two of you.
Once you were outside of the restaurant, you stopped walking. Vernon felt the slight tug from your body which caused him to turn around. Both of his hands quickly cupped your face, eyes scanning for any sign of you being hurt, whether it be physical, emotional, or mental.
"I'm sorry, y/n, but I couldn't stand the way he spoke about you," Vernon sighed. He felt guilty that he ruined your evening, especially one of such high importance. You had looked forward to this evening all week, but he let his anger get the best of him.
"I'm sorry too," you frowned. "Sorry?" Vernon looked at you confused, eyebrows furrowed. "Babe, what do you have to apologize for? You had no idea your ex was going to be there." "No, but I feel like I have to apologize for him. I never told you about him because I was embarrassed of him-"
"Baby girl, that's nothing to apologize for." Vernon's voice was back to its softer tone. You peered up at him, wanting to say more but deciding to stay silent so you could hear Vernon out. He wrapped one arm around your waist, the other remaining so his thumb could stroke your cheek. The touch was light yet helped ease your emotions slightly. He always knew the little things to help ease your mind.
"If you want to tell about the people you used to date, then I am more than happy to listen. But I don't want you to feel like you're obligated to just because he decided to speak up," he explained. "That's in the past, and you're my future."
For the time being, you were going to still keep details from you past a secret. Just for tonight. Tonight, you still wanted to focus on you and Vernon. He was your present and future, your everything. That's all that matters.
"Now, come on. I'm not even sure what I was thinking by making reservations at this place," Vernon laughed. "I think we should just go to the diner around the corner to relive our first date. Burgers, fries, and a vanilla milkshake sound a lot better anyways."
And it was the best anniversary celebration you ever imagined. You guys sat in the same booth where your first date happened. You laughed about your ex before shifting the conversation on the remainder of the evening on how far you've come as a couple.
Nothing else mattered besides the two of you.
