I was lucky enough to get to draw some art for @royaibigbang !

Getting to see everyone’s work for this is amazing! I got to work with some amazing artists and writers and it was such an amazing experience.

I got to draw a scene from @quiet-nocturne ‘s 100K super angsty, emotionally riveting Ishval restoration fic: Overcome.

There’s a bunch of other artists involved and I’d highly recommend checking out both the big bang blog for a full list of contributors and quiet nocturnes blog as many are posting lots of snippets and sneak peaks up until the date of release which is October 3rd!

Yes!!! How exciting!! 🥹 I had the honor of working with a beautiful team made of artists, authors and beta readers and we created this beautiful community! Over the past 9 months, we worked on creating the best Royai you can devour on right on October the third ( mark that in your calendars )

What got you into Royai!?!

i just answered that one, but this might give me a chance to talk more about how I got more on the royai train

I think one main thing was reading everyone headcanons after I finished the anime. I just was so hungrily looking for kiss I was robbed out of 😂 ( mind you that day was a really bad day so it became extra ✨🫨)

Headcanons were a huge part, but also how beautifully everyone drew them and wrote them. Royai low-key reminds me of my parents in a way? Not sure how or the why but I think this is a reason. I started loving them more and doodling them in my journal and developing headcanon about them and yeah here we are 🫶🏻

“Would you like to hear my theory?”

He sets down his fork, having only managed two bites of his lunch. “Not really, but I think you're going to tell me anyway. You may as well get on with it so I can enjoy my lunch.”

She looks skeptical but doesn't comment, forging on with the topic of Riza rather than critiquing the cafeteria food. “I think she has a secret new boyfriend that she is keeping from us.”
