Alright, random idea about the Twin AU, or any AU where Danny is an Al Ghul. Everyone knows that Ra's has an entire army of assassins, but what about the dead assassins? I doubt Ra's is dipping everybody in the Lazarus pit.

So, what if they went to the ghost zone?

And then when Danny dies, these assassins, who are extremely loyal to the Al Ghul family, immediately start following him.

The main assassin in charge, I'm gonna call him Carl, whose been around since the very beginning of the league, who was Ra's right hand man, starts acting as Danny's second in command basically becoming his Alfred.

Carl orders some of the assassins to help Danny out with some small stuff, like distracting some of the rouges so he gets to school on time, killing the hotdogs in the fridge so the little prince doesn't die of poisoning, setting off a Fenton invention so Danny get make a getaway. He definitely orders them to not interfere in big fights, unless Danny really needs the help, as a way for Danny to learn how to fight.

Carl has no idea who the GIW is, but he's gonna find out and then he's gonna blackmail/threaten/unalive some people.

Danny doesn't even know that he's suddenly gained a ghost army, all he knows is that there's a few helpful ghosts hanging around that really hate hotdogs. And then when Danny becomes the ghost king, hoo boy. The assassins replace the old ghost kings army, set up their own system and chains of command just completely change everything. Carl takes FrightKnights place as the king's right hand man/ bodyguard, makes sure all the members of the royal family are safe and is ready to fist fight the time ghost if he makes one more attempt to get his job.

Danny: I wanna be an astronaut. Carl who has no idea what that is: Sure, just let me do some info gathering and blackmail some people. Danny: What? And imagine the batfams reaction.

Vilification

Jason had done it. He'd killed the bastard clown. But at what cost?

The Batman was dead - he'd died in the uncanniest of circumstances: out of all things, it was because of bad luck and a bomb. The bomb was Jason's, of course, but no one had anticipated Batman slipping in the middle of the final seconds of the bomb's countdown. Not even Bruce.

Jason knows it because he and Bruce had a split second where their eyes had met. The Batsuit may have concealed the blue of Bruce's eyes, but the slack expression of surprise in Batman’s usually stony countenance was all indication Jason needed to see to know the truth before it was swallowed by flames.

So, yeah. Jason had done it - no more Joker, hallelujah -, but maybe he'd used one dynamite too many to secure his kill.

Dick hated him, obviously. So did any other hero in the fucking planet. Jason knew only tangentially that Dick had gotten a replacement Robin for himself somewhere along the line; God knew why, after the absolute screw-up that had taken up his mantle after the Golden Boy. But whatever. It was pointless to think the why's or how's about the newest Robin acquisition. Jason was pretty sure that the new kid hated his guts too, so it was a matter of time before a kid in tights came to give his version of a comeuppance for killing his first-in-line wannabe mentor.

And so, the pressure was on. Red Hood had been working overtime to install his defenses in Crime Alley to forestall the assault that he was sure it was coming his way. In a way, he counted himself lucky that he'd managed to liberate a shipment of contraband from Lex Luthor's Gotham branch a week before his epic showdown because that resolved the Superman problem quite neatly.

Jason had every intention of scattering a little of the Kryptonite all over his territory, when suddenly, he was ambushed by a kid, who started relieving him from all of the shiny rocks in his person.

And then this fucking kid started eating the rocks as if they were candy.

Jason may have been a little bit stunned, sue him. However, he managed to recover quickly and trained a gun to the meta, who looked sad about seeing all of the "candy" gone.

Nothing could have prevented him from what happened next, however.

The moment that their eyes connected, Jason could barely breathe. It was like a switch flicking in the back of his mind. The kid looked remarkably like a mini Bruce, so much so that he couldn't stand pointing the gun at the meta's face. Suddenly, he could only see the lacerations, and nothing could distract Jason's attention from the fact that the kid's left hand looked limp in a way that indicated that it was most certainly broken.

The kid made an inquisitive sound, almost a chirp in his direction.

"Jazz?"

The adorable face squinted harder around the bruise around his eyes and Jason cleared his throat.

"No, kiddo. Not Jazz."

"Oh." The kid eyes had glazed over. "R-right, she's dead. All of them are."

The kid stumbled, and Jason found himself rushing forward to catch him.

At first contact, a surge of electricity made Jason's hair stand up, but immediately after another wave of energy suddenly made his muscles relax.

"You feel like her," the kid mumbled tiredly, clenching Jason's jacket harder.

Jason would have responded, but a flash of something made him look up. He could spot a human figure in the distance, flying. And if he could see it, then Clark could certainly see Jason as well.

"We'll continue this somewhere more private," Jason said, tersely. The thought of leaving the boy here wasn't even considered.

"J'zz," the boy mumbled, as he was carried away.

And you can't forget the most famous ones.

"Is this rat edible?"

"My teeth are falling out."

"The captain's leading us to death, well whatever, let's catch a whale."
