Hello, hello, hello! This is my first post! I've just made it back home from a vacation, and I thought Why not write a poem? So I did! This poem is about the allure of vacations, but not feeling fulfilled during them, and then, when you get home, wishing you were back on vacation.

how HORRIFIC. how DISGUSTING. i get that voting for biden feels like we are settling, but the alternative is just so much worse

the thing about dead boy detectives is that it's got a little something for everyone. a traumatized gay edwardian boy. another traumatized boy whose choice of weapon is Cricket Bat. a psychic that's done with everyone's shit. the living embodiment of the Power of Friendship who just so happens to read yaoi. a vengeful witch who has been Wronged By Man. a goddess who is the OG feminist. a wide-eyed boy who becomes a crow in his free time. a cat king.

personally, i think we don't give jenny enough credit. she took in two very obviously underaged people, dealt with all of their strange habits like yelling to themselves or "using" her shop as a hangout spot or cussing out her customers or even their strange lack of boundaries with her, survived an implied serial killer date, and was willing to follow crystal with a knife when she thought she was going to confront her abusive ex.

jenny deserves the world and i hope we get season 2 so she can have it

i love all the acting in dead boy detectives so much, but the scene in ep8 where crystal is calling out to lilith and screams, "this witch, she took your gift and then she killed hundreds of little girls to stay young! who gets justice for them?" literal chills.
