This performance of River of Tears by Alessia Cara on SNL was incredible! The whole performance was carried by just her and a piano, and you don’t see many people do that. This song is so powerful on the record, but this stripped down version really highlighted the lyrics even more. Her voice sounded incredible, and her emotion poured through with every note.

This is my favorite song off the new Alter Bridge album! I got first introduced to them from WWE because they do Edge’s theme song, and I’ve loved them ever since. I love the message of this song, and as always, I love Myles’ voice and power in this song.

My favorite Fray song ever. I love the piano in this song, and he has so much emotion in his voice throughout. These lyrics are so beautiful and almost pure, which is a stark contrast from Isaac’s powerful and almost slurring voice.

Love this song from Fall Out Boy! Their songs always have such great energy, and this one is no different. I like that this one was a little more intense than their songs before it. The musicianship is awesome as always, and Pete’s voice sounds great in this song!

One of my favorite twenty one pilots songs! This song shows what twenty one pilots is about; great lyrics, sang and rapped, as well as a blend of all genres. I also love Josh’s drums in this song. They add another layer to the song with that awesome beat. I also love the symbolism in this video.

My favorite song by the Band Perry. I love the lyrics of this song, and I like how it’s a little more reminiscent of the self titled era TBP, whereas Pioneer era TBP was a lot bigger in sound. I love the musicianship in this song, as well as Kimberly’s raspy voice. I’m excited to see where their new music is heading.
