Youre The Antidote To Everything Except For Me // A Constellation Of Tears On Your Lashes // Burn Everything
You’re the antidote to everything except for me // A constellation of tears on your lashes // Burn everything you love then burn the ashes
Love this song from Fall Out Boy! Their songs always have such great energy, and this one is no different. I like that this one was a little more intense than their songs before it. The musicianship is awesome as always, and Pete’s voice sounds great in this song!

I thought that you would be the hero // Come and save the day // But you’re a villain // Your sins unforgiven
This performance of River of Tears by Alessia Cara on SNL was incredible! The whole performance was carried by just her and a piano, and you don’t see many people do that. This song is so powerful on the record, but this stripped down version really highlighted the lyrics even more. Her voice sounded incredible, and her emotion poured through with every note.
Life is a trip and its full of misadventures // The cat in the hat is a panic attack, but it’s laced with good intentions
This song has such a cool vibe. I love Tyler’s voice in this song; he has a nice edge that fits really well with the lyrics. I love all of the songs on this Sounds Like Harmony album, especially this song.
How many times can I break til I shatter // Over the line, can’t define what I’m after
One of my favorite OAR songs. I love his voice in this song. These lyrics are so relatable and honest, and it’s a great song about needing to just be strong enough to break the cycle of your life. It’s a little it of an older song, but it’s still a good one!
I’m picking up the pieces // I’m trying out adhesives // I’m trying to fix a place that feels broken
Love this song so much by Switchfoot. Especially in today’s political climate, I feel like this song is needed more so than ever. This version, the acoustic one with only Jon Foreman, has such a powerful impact, and it showcases the words perfectly. We make the world how it is, so every day is a chance to change the world. Everything we do has an impact, and it is in a way our religion.

You like me best when I’m off my rocker // Tell you a secret, I’m not alarmed // So what if I’m crazy? // The best people are
Love this song from Melanie! This song has such a cool industrial vibe, while still keeping true to her kid-like nature in her songs. She’s so good at writing lyrics from a completely metaphorical viewpoint, and this song highlights that perfectly.
