omg you mentioned you wanted to read new and cool genres- like sci fi and fantasy- i was gonna recommend “cypher” by jooniescupcake but i think they deleted that account. It wasn’t exactly sci fi- but it had a futuristic setting AND THE PLOT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! I really wish they hadn’t deleted the account bcs cypher was a masterpiece it was a yandere taegi x reader and the plot, the characters, the writing EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT

jk is not like a horrible person rn he's just super naive, immature, clingy and horny. like if he actually knew what clear consent was im sure he'd ask for it you know. maybe some time apart and maturity would help? perhaps a few years in therapy? one of those, childhood friends reunite and reminisce things where he's like lol i used to be so obsessed with you haha i was such a horny creep and its like chill bc he's not like that anymore???

its not off the table...i dont think he'd ever be abusive or anything just like kinda manipulative. or i mean idk oc also does like him so if they can just get some sex-ed up in there they could be okay maybe. lol. dunno.

then “Troublemaker” by Grizfolk is just Jin seeing oc as his little troublemaker who he can’t get enough of. the chorus is very cheeky as well which fits him. There’s a line in verse 1 that is:

“I woke up in a black haze / tomorrow I’ll be plowing through the snow”

I see the black haze as his addiction and obsession and the snow, obviously, is the cocaine. then 2nd verse is his pure obsession with oc and how from the moment he saw her he was intrigued:

“I’ll chase you for a lifetime if you leave me with a thrill I can't contain / With emptiness by my side I'll always have a place to hide the pain”

if you wanna see some of the inspo behind the fic from my end, death valley by fall out boys visualizer has this like subtle gang au aspect to it. the club in that roughly inspired what my concept of death valley is. youll get it if you watch it but tw for blood, drugs, police, jail, like this dude dressed as a devil, and drugs ofc. its chaotic so yeah :)
