It was fight or flight. Except all you wanted to do was run. Everything felt wrong. You turned around rapidly, the whole room spinning around you as you tried to find Jungkook. This wasn't going as planned. Everything was wrong.

"Hey"

His voice made you tremble. His hands landing on your arms, turning you to face him. He looked incredible, dressed up in a cinched black suit. His piercing glimmering under the lights. His eyes, bringing you ease. Letting you breathe, finally, amongst the chaos.

"You look," He gulped, "Amazing" You wanted to believe him, but you knew it was all for show.

"Jungkook listen, I--"

"Dance with me" He didn't let you finish. You wondered if he knew what you were going to say already. You wondered if he felt the same way. Grabbing your wrist, he dragged you in the middle of the dance floor, turning you around so that your back pressed up hard against his chest. Hips in synch, guided by his strong arms that wrapped around your waist, holding you to him.

His lips traced behind your ear, making you blush furiously. You could feel his smirk against your blazing skin. "Can I just say," He twirled you back around, before pulling you into him so he could lift you into the air. Looking up at you, his eyes were shiny with adoration. "Pretending to be your boyfriend is the easiest thing I've ever had to do"

It was as though all the air in your lungs was sucked out. He set you down, staring at you for a moment. Everything around you was falling apart, and you hadn't even begun to tell him. Yet, in the moment, all you wanted was to kiss him.

So you did.

And he kissed you back. His familiar taste with a brand new feeling. A feeling of blooming fire, raging through your veins with a heat so blazing, so fierce and yet so comforting. You let yourself go, losing all feeling except for that of his lips on yours. Giving him everything you had, pouring in your want with every move which he reciprocated. He deepened the kiss, groaning into your mouth as he pulled you flush against him.

Kara bestie.. how are you babes? Today I read nexus again and I was reminded of ginger yoongi for the fifth time today😀 so I want to tell you mine and ask you what was your favorite hair era for each member🤍

Jin: Peach Jin (like mid 2021) the the light brownish dirty blondish color was so cute and like intimidating like you see those fila promotions? Had me whipped for a while. (honorable mention.. black hair Jin from probably any era had me go over some of my life decisions..… I’m looking at you black swan)

Yoongi: GINGER YOONGI!! (late 2021) ginger yoongi had EVERYONE snatched. Had army who wasn’t yoongi biased become yoongi biased. Then just as fast and random as it appeared he IMMEDIATELY got rid of it. Lmfao it’s funny and it makes me sad at the same time🥲

Hobi: Pink Hobi (spring day) I seriously loved this hair color so much! He just looked so cute with it. (Honorable mention… not a hair era but Dior hoseok.. cause babe that was not Hobi…. That is probably my greatest downfall…. You didn’t hear that from me tho)(but it could kinda add for brown with blonde highlights Hoseok… CNS?)

Namjoon: blondish silverish Namjoon (late 2019-early 2020) now this took a lot of debate and I realized that I might be a namjoon bias on the low. Lol. I did a lot of research to make sure I’m exact and I still don’t feel like I am but first is the blonde from MMA. That blonde had me in shackles for who knows how long. In tears almost. Now MAMA…The silver/gray… I decided it was time for me to go.. and he smiled… with teeth… save me.

Jimin: Pinkish Orangish Peachish Jimin (BWL) now hear me out, hear me out… I seen this like angelic type of photo of him from that era and I’ve been attached since.(honorable mention… this just might be my inner Jimin bias showing but I low key favor probably all of his hair eras)

Taehyung: BLACK FLUFFY HAIR TAEHYUNG (late 2019-mid 2020) SAVE ME KARA!! Save me from the trenches.. I can’t leave.. it won’t let me go. Babe anything with black fluffy hair Taehyung had my inner dulu acting up. Those vlives? Whipped. In the soop? Tears. (Second greatest downfall🥲)

Jungkook: as I was scrolling through the jk photos I have I realized that I really might be a jk bias mid key. (Hence my favoritism of your series) I really can not pick. Lol. I was going to say long black hair jungkook (lotte family lol concert) but then I saw this boyfriend material photo of brunette jk. Actually with the long hair jk it’s not just that concert, it’s anytime his hair was long enough for ponytails.

Taehyung was panting. He had never run so fast in his life. The second that Jimin had called him explaining what had happened to you at the party, he knew he needed to find you.

A part of him was upset. He told you not to go. He warned you that your ex would be there, but you still went. You were always so stubborn, and yet he loved you so much.

When he arrived at your door, he didn't bother knocking, instead he busted through knowing that you never locked your door. You were curled up on your couch, mascara streaming down your face, still in your little dress.

You looked startled to see him.

"T-taehyung?"

He let out a breathless sigh, falling to his knees before you.

"Why are you here?"

Taehyung ignored your question, immediately reaching up to wipe away your tears with the pads of his thumbs, now tainted with the black ink. He didn't care, all he cared about was if you were okay. Seeing you cry, knowing you were hurt, it was an unquenchable throbbing in his chest. He couldn't stand it - not when every fiber of his being was screaming for him to take it all away, to take the pain and only bring you happiness.

"I came to make sure you were okay" His voice was soft, face inches from your own. He would lecture you, eventually. But right now he knew better. You needed him, and so there he was. He crawled onto the couch by you, tangled you up in his arms, and pressed his lips to your forehead, holding you as you cried.
