Im just realising that I don't know how to write neurotypical emotions...

...like I can't picture a character being happy without picturing them doing happy stims, same with literally any other emotion. How do I make them cope with emotions/situations in a neurotypical way??? How do I make them cope with textures/sounds/smells that I can't??? How do I make them react to things in a NT way???

I want to write fanfic and I need to start writing shit for my english hw but how do I do this shit? Does anyone else get this/does anyone have any tips bc I'm stuck
