Sergei: You keep hugging Alix when she's sad. Next thing you know, she's going to fall in love with you. Is that what you want?

and her hair
and her sense of humour
but hair changes
and so do eyes and a sense of humour
all i have to connect her to me
is things that will change

the dead cannot
but i will
i will not always be the eleven year old i was

Nicholas: I know she doesn't like you much, but that's not what she's doing!
Maria: *secretly planning a coup d'etat*
