Where did all the time go?

Where has all the time gone?

Just the other day

I was spending my days in the summer sun

Watching as the scenery around me changed

But stayed just the same.

Next thing I know

I'm halfway across the country

Watching thunder and lightning outside my window

Confined to a smaller set of walls

While I found my footing.

But where did the time go?

Because the next I know

It's June and I'm tired and missing home

I'm missing the company of familiar faces

And the sounds of laughter and cheerful voices

As conversations ring through my ears

And not deafening silences and endless corridors

Lined with books and desks

Those days seem

Longer, colder

Almost

Lonelier.

But where did the time go?

The next thing I know

It's August

September and another break

Are drawing near

Everywhere I look, I've got work lined up

But still, I find the time

For late-night shenanigans with friends

And worry about them too

Exhaustion settles in my bones

The way it does

When the break does eventually comes around

But it's over in the blink of an eye

Much like the term before.

And the next thing I know

Exams are around the corner again

But this time, I'm smiling more

The days don't seem as long

Or as cold

Or lonely.

I don't know where all the time went

But one thing I do know

Is that time waits for no man, woman or child

It feels like it passes you by

So much faster

When you're having the time of your life

When you're experiencing things for the first time

And forced to make friends for the millionth time.

New chapters are scary

Often they are lonely

But it is so much more worth it

When you make memories

That will make for incredible stories.

I don't know where time will take me

I'm just grateful

That I got to spend so much of it

The way that I did

Because there is nothing that I would change

Even when it broke my heart

Or made me angry.

It was worth every experience.

Finally got to sit down and listen to J-Hope's "More". And dude lemme tell you, this man has officially entered his dark era, he has officially entered his emo phase.

I mean I saw the concept photos on Instagram so I knew it was coming. But hearing the actual song and watching the mv for the first time, it just hits different. It just like finally hit me that Hobi has truly diverted from what he gave us during Hope World. And I'm not gonna lie, but I absolutely adored it and I'm truly looking forward to seeing what J-Hope's new endeavour will bring. Because if I know anything about J-Hope it's that he can and will produce a banger of an album.

So, Mr Jung Hoesoek well done on the new single and I look forward to hearing the rest of the album.

Torn in two, and I know I shouldn't tell you. But I just can't stop thinking of you. Wherever you are.
