Sorry for my horrible hand writing. I hope it’s still readable.

This is an old comic that I made back… I think 2020? I did was part of a mini series where I reacted to various shows and the like. There was this cooking show that I binged that I don’t remember the name of, but they talked about avocado pudding.

My family made avocado pudding a lot when I was younger. I didn’t hate it, but it was never overly sweet or savory like the judge was saying. I’ve had store bought pudding, homemade, heck, I’ve made the stuff before! It’s not a hard recipe! It’s just different from other puddings because it has avocado as a thickener.

Is avocado pudding good? I’m mixed on it, but it isn’t the worst pudding in the world. This judge treated avocado like a it was a tricky thing to put in a dessert, when in reality it’s a creative base to thicken something; it’s about personal preference more then anything else.

Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to get this off my chest.

I feel called out, I didn’t do anything to deserve this. At least I hope I didn’t! Why Tumblr— why!?!

Art dump!

I’ve been drawing in different styles for four years, I think— because, a). It’s a good exercise. And b). The art world keeps on forgetting a very important detail about art. Heck, even I forget at times. But it’s something very vital.

The detail was well said by this art history nun from an art documentary that I use to watch when I was little. I think her name was Sister Wendy or something. But she was pretty chill, I think. It’s been a while.

But she said this:

“Art changes, it never gets better.”

So, draw whatever style brings you joy. As long as your respectful, and learn the fundamentals, it doesn’t matter to anyone how you draw, but you. That’s all that should matter at the end of the day.
