So I’m reading an old abandoned wip, right? It’s been awhile since I worked on it so I’m reading all I have to remind myself what’s going on.

But I forgot that I’M the one who wrote it, so when I got to the end I got so mad because my favorite fanfic authors always seem to do that! They crank out these super long fics that are just pure gold and then right at the climax just before the tension is resolved they vanish.

And then I realized....

I was ranting at myself. I want to know what happened next in the story, but for that to happen I have to actually WRITE it😅

Because the rest of the world is quiet and there are soooo many fewer distractions. Someone barging in to disrupt you at three in the morning is also extremely unlikely.

I really love that the only hours I seem capable of writing anything coherent are between ✨1 and 4am✨
