This originally started off as a small, little something I made in anticipation for The Clone Wars’ final season. After it debuted, the effect that the writing, acting, and visuals left had me EAGER to revisit this painting! How incredible of a journey it’s been to see these two persevere since 2008.

Fandom: The whole point of the prequels-

George Lucas: Anakin fell because of his greed.

Fandom: Luke is better than the Jedi because he disobeys them and-

George Lucas: Luke commited a mistake whem he left against Obi-Wan's and Yoda's advise.

Fandom: The Jedi are the reason Anakin fell-

George Lucas: Anakin would have known better if he had been raised as a Jedi from a younger age-

Fandom: -but they prohibit love!-

George Lucas: -And he would have learned to love without being attached.

Fandom: The Jedi deserved what they got-

George Lucas: The Jedi are the most moral group of the galaxy.

"The jedi killed people that makes them just as baaaaaad" the jedi overwhelmingly killed droids. Bumbling scrap metal designed to get blown up comedically. Most of the time, when they actually try killing a living being, that person survives and gets away. Obi-Wan has to kill Maul like 4 times until it finally sticks and it's not like Grievous was doing good things with his life.

And they didn't kill droids for the fun of it, they did it to keep the droids from killing clones and civilians? You know, the civilians who refused to fight in the war themselves until their planets got taken over, then yelled at the jedi and clones dying for them for not doing enough?

All this does is prove that the jedi were doing their best to save lives. If they abandoned the clones and sat the war out like these people say they should've then tons more would have died.

Inaction in the face of violence against others isn't noble and I don't understand why anyone would think that the moral of star wars is "inaction is the only appropriate response to oppression" like?????
