I eventually voted on the former since it's what the whole overarching narrative is built on; once the contract is completed and the one responsible for his family's deaths is killed, Ciel's soul is devoured.

As for the latter, I think Yana confirmed that she doesn't really plan on going too deep into demon lore (unless she's planning to pull a "sike I lied" or something idk) which is unfortunate, but y'know, we have fanfiction for that—

I'm also currently seeing in the main tag lots of people posting about inviting folks to their discords with promises of sebc*el and other proshipping especially involving RPing stuff, and it's like a big red flag that there could be groomers among them trying to lure in younger fans. I've seen this song and dance before back when Book of Circus was out and way popular. I hope young fans getting into Kuro/Black Butler stay safe esp if they attempt to get involved on discords :(

It sickens me when proshippers try to enforce their beliefs on younger individuals (younger real life individuals mind you) who don't have a grasp on morals.

Keep in mind that this happened with Ciel Star, who convinced young underage teens that Sebaciel was completely unproblematic and later groomed them. Disgusting.
