so the super nt is coming out soon, and with it comes a digital copy of a “director’s cut” edition of super turrican, which includes a whole new final level with new music

so of course i had to one up the 24 year old video game and pop a quick remix out. this is the first time in a while that i aimed to replicate the sound of a specific game (and it won’t be the last!)

i’ve always been sort of…ambivalent towards newer sonic games. i don’t HATE any of them per se, it’s just that none of the more recent ones have really grabbed my attention for too long

mania though, i was hyped for from day 1 because i KNEW what the people behind it were capable of and i was not disappointed when it delivered

(please let taxman and friends make more sonic games PLEASE)

been a while since i did a robot photoshoot and this one’s particularly special

this has been a grail of mine for a couple years now - it’s the botcon 2010 “generation 2: redux” boxset - and i have @ladydragon76 to thank for selling it to me!

i’ve heard horror stories about funpub’s qc problems and i’m happy to report that, minus an errant splotch of paint here or there, all of these figures are fine! these guys are great fun to mess with, especially clench and sky-byte

a while back @oolongearlgrey did a few streams where he drew a bunch of battletoads and i was like “let’s just take this to its logical conclusion”

HEY I’M STILL HERE

hey all, just dropping by real quick for an update since i haven’t posted in a bit

i’m gonna be very busy the next couple of months, i’m currently in my final semester of college and i’m working as hard as i possibly can to make sure i finish with a bang.

until i’m finally through this whole thing i’m gonna be uploading some old stuff i’ve done just to keep a steady flow of content (i’m actually gonna upload one right after i post this).

commissions are still being worked on, albeit very very slowly. i’m actually pretty close to finishing the next one and lord willing it’ll be up at some point next week before i buckle down on this college business.

oh yeah, keep a lookout for a toy photoset tomorrow, it’s been a while since i’ve done one and this one’s special!

so vince dicola put out an album a while ago full of demo recordings for his work in the 86 transformers movie and the unused “evil decepticon theme” stuck out to me the most.

i’ve wanted to do this song for a while and am fairly pleased with the results
