a big part of growing up is wanting to gather every person you’ve ever been mean to and say “I’m sorry!! It wasn’t worth it!! It wasn’t worth being mean!!! I’m sorry!!!” but you can’t, so just be kind from now on

I've had friends who changed their pronouns and then changed them back before, never once accused them of "faking."

By all means, try Genders™ and Identities™ on like pairs of shoes, feeling them out to see if they fit and throwing them back on the shelf at your leisure. No shame.

Psst… hey kiddos.

Cis people don’t usually worry that much about whether or not they’re cis. If you’re worried that you’re faking, then you definitely aren’t. You can not fake something by accident.

And even if you do turn out to be cis, where’s the harm? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with questioning your gender. You never hurt anybody by questioning. It’s totally normal to question… that’s just human nature. It’s okay, kiddos.

Yo if you’re a boy with mental illness, a boy with disabilities, a boy who is/was an abuse victim, a boy who has an ED, a boy with trauma, I need you to know that you are not a burden, that you don’t need to “harden up”, that you are very brave, and that you shouldn’t just have to “get over it”.
