it was never said that floyd never came back, though. john dory said he came back and found the village gone after the bergens, remember? floyd probably thought branch was dead too :(

I don’t think that matters to me personally because they could of came back at any point during the 20 years.

Floyd was also only trapped for 2 months and probably wasn’t going to come back even if he didn’t need saving .

Plus the old village was only destroyed with in the last year according to da wiki (unreliable source but yk)

I do wanna say my post wasn’t meant to upset you or anyone else who likes Floyd! I’m so happy you like him and have a different idea of who he is and my opinions on him do not affect my opinions on anybody who likes him :)
