Even while Rafah is closed, your funds help them afford basic needs for survival on a daily basis while they also get ready to leave when the time comes! Every dollar counts! Does any other trans guy feel just so, so isolated from the rest of the community sometimes? We're always the receiver of the unwanted, progressively transphobic joke, of the stereotypes that are okay because they're said by other queer people, of the purposeful ignorance when it comes to our oppression.

It's funny to bring up the 'uwu softboy trans gay man' every other post and put him down. It's funny to talk about how easy it is for trans men to pass. It's funny to call all trans men idiots. It's funny to say that trans men can't even pick out a good name for themselves. It's funny to say that all trans men are evil and just as bad as the horrible cis men. It's painfully common for people to say that all trans men have internalised misogyny, but we also can't experience misogyny and we inherently benefit from the patriarchy.

Btw, non UK users here, would be genuinely super helpful if you could boost posts relating to the far right violence happening and also counter protests. A lot of UK users don’t really follow each other, and also it just helps to increase the chance of people who could go to counter protests seeing posts about what’s happening when. I know posts about our politics; and non USAmerican politics really; don’t get a lot of traction on here, but like despite the UScentrism of the English speaking user base it’s really helpful and beneficial to share these things. The situation is likely downright horrifying to those being targeted right now and it really should be a priority for us to go out and counter this to the best of our abilities

Hello, I am Ahmed. I am 22 years old. I study medical equipment engineering at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, which was recently destroyed due to the difficult and terrible war that Gaza City is going through.

I had one year left to graduate, but the war destroyed everything. I lost my education, my father lost his job and his small shop.
