Don`t Think That Was Exactly What You Meant, But You Did Inspire Me To Add A Mechanic Where The Player
Don`t think that was exactly what you meant, but you did inspire me to add a mechanic where the player gets bonus damage the more scarring they have. It should add some push to the end of arenas and boss fights where the player is most likely to need it.
The healing system require you to stand still and spend energy to heal. To add long term cost, healing also use the scarring mechanic from salt and sanctuary where you lose max health which can only be recovered at a checkpoint.

🪐Location... Planet ASO-1City Kambano
• Kambano is where our story begins in Sci-fi RPG Foodomina!
• It is the year 4002D, and there is a very special event happening on Kambano! I wonder what it could be ~°.•☆

Chapter 1: Shaded coast The shaded coast serves as the game's first level. It's a narrow band of land, trapped between the steep cliffs of Mount Evermore and the harsh freezing sea. Only the most foolish and desperate people find their way to the small coastal town and very few ever manage to escape. The only source of hope in this desolate land is a lone, gloomy church, located at the very edge of the known world.

Welp, the time for mourning is over. Here are the new duck and run animations.
So a while back, I pitched a game idea out onto tumblr. I've finally come up with an official pitch,
"Terrorium"- A pixel-art styled RPG alike to the famous titles of Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing. As a powerful mage, your craft is unlike any other: You collect the deepest fears of mankind, replacing those fears with courage and hope. With whispers of a world-ending monster beneath the surface, eating and amplifying one's strongest fears, you find yourself treading toward Adelynne Cove in order to cull the beast and take away its power before its too late. Will you be able to help the folk face their fears, enhance your power, and save the world?
Now, a few months later, I am proud to say that I am starting character and sprite design, officially announcing Terrorium! While I cannot promise it'll come to fruition, I do want and plan on sharing my work moving forward.
I cannot wait to toss my work out there and I really, truly hope that one day I will officially be able to release the beta version.
Under the cut are a few sprites that I've become particularly proud of, visibly sharing similarities to the Stardew Valley styles but in a world of their own. I truly hope that something good will come out of this, so thanks for reading through!!!!

Concept art for Arcadia- The Colony

The Observatory is the first area of the game Arcadia. In the first game idea, this Biome was a simple room where the player starts the game, but after the mood concept, we decided to build a tutorial level. It's one of the few areas built outside the Colony's cave, so we like to show a wonderful night sky. After working on the mood piece I integrated it into the level design and worked on the assets too.
