I Am A Sucker For Prison Realm Fics. There Is So Much Angst/ Whump Material. You Can Pick Your Poison,

I am a sucker for prison realm fics. There is so much angst/ whump material. You can pick your poison, like, no sense of time? Done, now satoru has spent 'centuries' there.

Do the skeletons have conscience? Can satoru escape them? Or does he have to maintain constant contact with them?(Kaz brekker inspiration) Do they talk? What do they say?

The atmosphere! Is it okay? Or you have a putrid air, smell or sense? How does it affect one body?

Hallucinations! This unpack a whole new section, what does he see, he is aware of their falseness? Can he escape them? Do the six eyes help him or just make everything worse?

Does he even have his abilities? How are they blocked, how does this affect his sense of self as the strongest?

Is Kenjaku able to access him? If so, what does he want What does he do?

And the best of the best, how is Satoru when he finally gets out? How do his friends and loved ones react to his state? And how can he move on from that? (Or can he even move on at all?)

You can even put a time travel plot in there and boom, we have satosugu again. Does he remember his past life to ‘fix the future’? Or is his mind far too damaged for that? Does he even remember Suguru?

The emotional anguish of using the tag system on ao3 while always wondering if you are excluding a masterpiece that wasn’t tagged ‘correctly’

I feel like satoru would be that kind of masochist (such as myself) that watches horror films even though it scares the shit out of him. So even though he wants to see them, he always have to drag Suguru along with him for moral support.

And Suguru always makes fun of him cause they literally fight curses for a living

Satoru’s dream

Satoru wanted to be remembered. Cherished. Loved. He had dreams too, you know.

But as long as he could remember, a knowledge was engraved in his soul. He was the strongest, a weapon, and weapons are used.

There were some who could say he got what he wanted, he was remembered - as the strongest. He was cherished - as a weapon. He was loved - as a symbol.

But nobody ever asked him about his dreams. Well, except for one, this one was the strongest too. And Satoru could only assume that they belonged to each other just as two pieces of the same tool kit.

So for him, even though it sucked the way he died, a part of him marveled the fact he was once again next to his other half.

And he could only appreciate that no one had asked about his dreams, cause he would only have one answer, the same as it was in his college years when Suguru asked him for the first time.

“My dreams? Don’t know, I guess if I could choose it would be to stay next to you forever.”
