We've been getting so much love for this fic in recent weeks in the form of DMs, asks, comments, etc., and I just wanted to say another thank you! It really has been blowing our minds to see how much people seem to love this fic, and we never could have imagined that it would be this well-received, and both Em and I wanted to let you guys know that this really does mean so much to us, so thank you all once again! 💕

no idea how I finally managed to finish this chapter today.

Nadir: How have you been feeling lately?

Erik: I’ve got this headache that comes and goes.

Raoul: *walks into the room*

Erik: There it is again.

Once my boyfriend told me: "You're not a burden. A burden is something you're forced to carry against your will. I freely choose to be a part of your life and that means you aren't a burden to me." I'm passing it on in case some of you need to be reminded of that.

I have a headcannon that Erik in Phantom of the Opera is autistic (or in my old fashioned terms of when I was diagnosed - Aspergers Syndrome).

This was much before I ever came across Ramin Karimloo, his interpretation, or anything to do with the slight controversy of his interpretation! I want to separate this as an influence on my own headcannon.

I would make a list of how Erik fits this category (whether it is Leroux Erik, or Musical Erik - mainly), but this is about what YOU might think and how reactive (?) people are on this idea.

(I also think Eriks can be autistic but with different traits/symptoms!)

I am tempted to go through all the media of Phantom and look if Erik has aspects of autism in more detail but I might make another poll on that idea, see if it appeals.
