Cosmic Power (Pokemon Inspired)

A cosmic spell to prepare yourself before divination or astral projection.

You Will Need:

💫 Any Combination of: Jasper, Galaxite, Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Herkimer Diamond, Jet, Opal and/or Rainbow Obsidian 💫 Blue Candles 💫 Black Candles 💫 Purple Candles 💫 Sandlewood Incense 💫 Optional: Imagery of stars, the night sky and other space objects you associate with this situation (especially if you are like me and in a city with too much light pollution)

Other: Cast this at night time

Steps:

💫 Cleanse yourself and your space as you desire. Set up your space by placing your candles about the room where they can be safely placed. Light them once ready.

💫 Place your incense and light it as well making sure its in an area near you

💫 Place your crystals about you so you can feel their energy

💫 Place your imagery (if needed) near your where you can see and feel its energies as well

💫 Begin to meditate, feel the energies of the stars and crystals about you. Let them empower your own energy and feel yourself absorb what they have to offer

💫 Meditate as long as needed. End spell with “Cosmic Power, I can feel you, and I am ready” then proceed to your divination or astral projection as you wish to do it

Practical Spellwork: Saltwater Cleansing Charms

Suitable for gently cleaning or clearing away energies within an object or altar space.

The salt may be of any variety. The water may be tap water.

Sprinkle the water over objects or spaces to be cleansed. These waters may be kept for future cleansings; repeating the charm or visualization before each use accumulates power.

Paul Huson's Charm (via Mastering Witchcraft, 1979)

A favorite of mine - quick, and very effective.

Mix any quantity of salt (usually, between pinch to a small handful) into a dish of water. Connect to the saltwater in any way you like (Triangle of Manifestation, stirring it with your pointer finger, visualization, etc).

Speak or think this charm into the saltwater:

Water and Earth Where you are cast Let no spell, nor ill intention last Not in complete accord with me As my word, so shall it be

This charm has been modified somewhat from the original; I don't know if Huson was its progenitor or not.

Salt Star

An original from my Book. Especially delightful when done with epsom salts in the bathtub.

Fill a dish with a large opening with as much water as you need. Take a modest handful of salt. Slowly pour salt into the dish in the shape of a pentagram (starting at any corner you please).

You may enjoy utilizing a visualization or incantation during this process. However, simply applying your intent to conjuring the powerful symbol of the pentagram will suffice.

As you complete the shape, feel, observe, believe, visualize, or know, that the spell "clicks" and its power activates.

The pentagram is a very powerful symbol of balance and purification. It may be replaced with any other symbol which provides the same utility.

If any salt is left in your hand once you're done, you can put it back in its storage container, drop the rest into the saltwater, or do whatever else you feel like doing with it.

Cleansing Hand of the Gods

An original from my Book. This one takes more work and produces a much more intense cleanser that can be overboard for simple spellwork - for this reason I don't use it often. The god you call upon will seriously "flavor" it - move with caution.

(Inspired by Artisson's work, maybe Witching Way of Hollow Hill?)

Primarily for use of those who are religious or have a strong connection to a certain god. They do not need to be connected to witchcraft or purity domains (etc.) to be able to charm a little dish of saltwater. They're gods, they can manage.

Begin with your empty dish and some salt in its storage container. Pray to your god to lend you their hand in creation of a cleansing liquid.

While remaining in prayerspace if you so desire, say or think, "it is not my hand which fills this dish with water, but the hand of [Deity's Name]." Fill the dish with water.

Say or think, "it is not my hand which adds salt to this dish, but the hand of [Deity's Name]." Add salt to the dish.

Say or think, "it is not my power which creates this cleansing magic, it is the power of [Deity's Name]." Connect to the saltwater in any way you like (Triangle of Manifestation, stirring it with your pointer finger, visualization, etc), while maintaining focus on your god, and feel that it is the god's power, working through you, which causes the saltwater to become enchanted.

Finish by saying or thinking, "it is not by my acts this saltwater has been enchanted, but through the actions of [Deity's Name]. As they willed it, so is it done."

Exit prayerspace, if you remained in it this whole time. Ground and center if need be.

If you get weird fucking vibes from this, don't push it. Not all gods want to do this and not all of them want to do it with you. I'm not about to encourage you to steal divine power.

Fire Spell for Strength

This ritual celebrates the characteristics of the fire element, helping you draw those qualities, as needed, into your life. Fire governs the realms of change and transformation, courage, energy, and passion. It can also be used for protection and purification and for banishing negativity.

Focus on your needs, including gaining strength, as you meditate on the element of fire.

Light candles or incense or make a fire in a fireplace or patio fire pit.

Contemplate the qualities of fire and the ways in which it’s essential for our lives. As with all the elements, fire can be destructive, so we must always treat it with respect.

Chant:

Fire, in my darkest hour,

spark my strength and untapped power.

Bring me what I need to thrive,

to persevere and to survive.

Aromatic Mist (Pokemon Inspired)

A spell to bring protection to your friend or loved one.

You Will Need:

❃ Salt ❃ White Rice ❃ Rosemary ❃ Incense of Choice that Relates to Protection (I usually use Violet or Lotus) ❃ Picture or name of your friend ❃ Bowl ❃ *One of the following stones: Agate, Beryl, Carnelian, Citrine, Fluorite, Jasper, Jet, Nuummite or Obsidian ❃ (Optional) Plastic Zip Bag

*note that this crystal will be physically given to your friend so select one you are willing to part with or are able to find a replacement if needed*

Steps:

❃ Light your incense and have it burning near your bowl while you work. Below your bowl place the image or written name of your friend you are casting the spell for

❃ In the bowl add your salt, white rice and rosemary

❃ Take your crystal of choice in hand. “(friend’s name) incense smoke guards you, incense smoke protects you, may no harm come to you” repeat this while running or holding crystal in the smoke of your incense. Do this as you feel necessary

❃ Take your crystal and place it in the bowl (to protect it just in case it may be damaged you can put it in the plastic zip bag). Make sure it is fully buried

❃ Leave over night, if you can in starlight or moonlight

❃ In the morning take out the crystal and present it as a gift to your friend you wish to protect
