Writing Prompt #2

“Hey wait a minute, aren’t you supposed to be one of the good guys?”

“Well yes, but—Well technically— I suppose so? Look kid, don’t make me question my morals. At this point, all I’m doing is my best.”

Reasons why not to visit a group of thieves or vigilantes hangout

It’ll take you hours to find the street their base is on— due to the cryptic message directions —and another hour to find a lever to open a trapdoor. This will let into a 2 by 4 foot crawl space that will lead you into a pitch black basement. Then you’ll realize the nagging feeling that you’re in the wrong place was indeed right, because you know they don’t have a guard dog. And you’ll definitely know it took you less than 3 seconds to get back out the window.

At that point, you might be ready to give up and go home. But then you’ll get a text from an unknown number. It’ll say you have to go down another two streets. You’ll ask how they knew where you were. They’ll say they could hear Mrs. Masrani’s doberman from the hideout.

However, if you do find yourself still wanting to go:

1. Know they never have any food. Well, they do, but it’s all hidden. Living on the streets all those years taught them to cherish all food they come across, and to be the only person to know where their stash is. To get food, you must either ask or bring your own.

2. Make sure you show up at the exact time they told you.

3. NEVER, under any circumstances, mention you have ramen at home. Unless of course you have enough to feed all 20 of the teens and preteens living in the hideout. Ramen is a sacred thing.

4. Never take anything of value to the hideout.

5. Never ask where the swords hanging on the wall came from. In fact, never ask about any of the decorations.

6. Don’t ask how much any of the decorations cost either. You might have second thoughts about your profession.

7. And finally, never promise to visit again soon. When you say soon they think you mean tomorrow. And they will hunt you down if you don’t show. Say you’ll come whenever you have some spare time. Which is almost never.

Your Boss warns you,

Hero

Writing Prompt #3

TW: knife, future murder?

Writing Prompt #3

“Do you know why they call killing someone with a knife personal?”

“No…”

“Because you have to be close to whomever you’re trying to kill. I personally think it’s cute.”

“And why is murdering someone cute?”

“Because whoever decided that was clearly a terrible knife thrower.”

Snippet #2

Snippet #2

“You know what I think?” Hero’s sidekick asked.

“You think?” Villan’s Sidekick laughed.

The other scoffed and tossed a piece of candy at their foe, grinning when it hit them in the face. “Yes. Now listen. I think I have a plan to get Hero and Villan together.”

“Ooh, do tell. But it had better involve something illegal.”

Hero’s Sidekick smile widened. “How do you feel about getting kidnapped by Vigilante?”

“By who?” Vigilante’s head peaked around a corner. “Why would I be kidnapping them?”

“You’re kidnapping both of us. And it’s to get Hero and Villain together.” Hero glanced between Vigilante and the hideout decorations. “We can stay here, they don’t know where your base is.”

“That is both a terrible and incredibly stupid idea. But I’m down to getting those two together. Let’s do it and see what happens.”

The next morning, the three of them made the 6 o’clock news.

So I Was Inspired By This Promt. I Think It Turned Out Alright, Lemme Know Of Yall Want More Or Not Because

Nothing truly mattered, that’s what they all had wrong. The hero’s, the civilians, even a few crazy villains. Each and everyone of them beloved that the world was made of different layers and every single thing they did mattered. They do bad things just to be remembered, and good things just to feel like they are better. It’s all wrong.

Tomorrow there will be nothing left of this place. In a few days the whole world will cease to exist. The only thing I regret is that I won’t be able to see it afterwords.

“Where is he”

“You’re too late, now please don’t try and force my hand,” my chest heaved as I sighed. Anticipating the hero moving towards me I quickly drew my leg up, skid to the side and jutted my leg back out into the hero’s side.

“I didn’t come alone.”

Suddenly my entire body lurched forward as the newest addition to this wild spat delivered their entering blow. Throwing my hands out in front of me I landed only to jump back up again. Looking behind me the first now stood with the second, looking like a chihuahua-bulldog duo. As my breathing evened I slowly stretched my hands out preparing for them to jump out so as to clap them with lightning. Only to be stopped as a dull pain entered my abdomen. My legs stuttered behind me as I looked down. A knife. A knife has put me on my knees. Damn now they have tested my limits.

“I could burn this city down and put you in the ground,” Pulling the knife out of my abdomen I held in tightly in my grasp as I slowly turned towards them. “Don’t. Fucking. Test. Me.”

“Oh yeah, I’ll have you back on your knees in a second, I’m sure it’ll feel better then when your lovely little villain does it,” bulldog looking hero teased as they cocked their head to the side, “was it their promise of nothingness, or the fact that they tied you to a bed that caused you to join their side?”

“You. Don’t. Know. ANYTHING!” Screaming I launched toward them swinging the blade towards their head only to have my arm pulled back by the first. Swiveling as I seethed. I lurched my arm out of their grasp throwing it back down right into their neck, watching as they looked at me with fear in their eyes.

“I said don’t test me, maybe you should have listened.”

okay Hear Me Out. cat!villain getting teased by hero bc of their cat ears and villain keeps covering their eyes w their ears bc of it (bc their cat ears r . unfairly adorably huge). Yes and hero loves it whenever their scratching causes the villain to purr

Hero sipped on their coffee quietly.

The villain was still asleep, their body rolled in the covers and pressed up against Hero’s side. They were drowning in the expanse of the fabric, with only their head sticking out. Hero observed them, lips pulled into a brief smile at the adorable display they were greeted by each morning.

Their ears were twitching occasionally, and Hero could tell they were dreaming. They softly scratched at their head, and the villain stirred immediately.

“Did I wake you?” The hero stopped their affectionate touch, but their hand didn’t leave their head. “Sorry.”

Villain’s eyes cracked open, and they groggily groaned under their breath, muffled by the covers. They nuzzled closer into Hero’s chest, disoriented from their awakening. Hero stroked their ears as an apology, and Villain’s chest began vibrating in delight.

“You’re purring again,” the hero grinned, and Villain replied with a soft huff.

“No I’m not.”

Hero discarded their coffee mug down on the bedside table, and gently rubbed both of Villain’s ears with their fingers, coaxing them out from their sleeping place. Villain’s nose wrinkled and they shuddered, shooting them a weak glare.

“Stop that.”

Hero continued to smile, cooing softly under their breath. The villain was still purring, and their cheeks had gone a delightful shade of red.

“But you’re so cute,” they hummed, scratching at a spot they knew the villain liked. “I can’t help myself.”

Villain squirmed in embarrassment, and wormed their way under the covers.
