11. Favorite whump trope?

THAT’S SUCH A HARD QUESTION I LOVE SO MANY!!!!  Because there’s the classic collapse, the intense fever, not recognizing a caretaker from delirium, the found family all rallying for the newest addition, oh my gosh I’m rambling.  OKAY!  I think I’m going to have to go with a classic- unconsciousness.  I know, I’m kinda coping out because it’s general, but in this house, we love and support all unconsciousness tropes.  Sudden passing out, an illness making it impossible to wake up, passing out after an injury or blood loss, finally succumbing to a sedative injected by a whumper or a caretaker, oh god I could go on for an hour.  Every time I see that tag on AO3, I immediately click on the story.

14.  What’s your weapon of choice for inflicting any sort of injury to your whumpee? (Like a gun, a whip, a knife, a sword, whichever…)

A Knife.  No question.  A knife has so many possibilities.  Cutting someone is the bare bones- the way it slides into a body, whether it’s a careful wound to cause pain but not necessarily cause death, a whumper ripping out a knife and the scream that follows, a slow drag across skin not cutting per se but threatening, the way it can toy with a whumpee, the way a person could look after being literally stabbed in the back, the added possibilities of infection if the wound is improperly treated, it only has like a 25% chance of killing you (don’t quote me I’m going off my shitty memory) and a gun is just so damn quick to kill.  A knife takes time, a knife waits, a knife knows silence, a knife has my heart

22.  When did you realize you were into whump?

Honestly?  Since I took my first breath?  Because the first character I ever created, I think I was like six or something, was a superhero named Blackout.  I named her such because she would have fainting spells where she “blacked out” and then woke up in a different situation.  Sometimes she was captured, sometimes she was back home, who knows.  I’m pretty sure my first make-believe game was superheros as I thought they should be- getting hurt and actually suffering for what happened.  I know that was how I somehow snagged a good friend of mine when I was younger- He was always the whumper in our RPG and I was always the whumpee, no matter who actually had the role of that character. So I’m going with... that was probably my first thought after exiting the womb.

In all seriousness, I love when you guys ask me questions it makes me feel so loved and noticed by you all amazing people. You all are so talented and creative and intelligent and I have no idea how to keep up with all a’y’all and you guys wanting to include me makes me smile for hours.  God, I’m gonna cry.  Bye I love you
